Isaiah 39

1 Merodach-baladan, sending to visit Hezekiah because of the wonder, hath notice of his treasures. 3 Isaiah, understanding thereof, foretelleth the Babylonian captivity.

 39:1 ¶ At that x1931 time 6256 Merodachbaladan, 4757 the son 1121 of Baladan, 1081 king 4428 of Babylon, 894 sent 7971 z8804 letters 5612 and a present 4503 to x413 Hezekiah: 2396 for he had heard 8085 z8799 that x3588 he had been sick, 2470 z8804 and was recovered. 2388 z8799

 39:2 And Hezekiah 2396 was glad 8055 z8799 of x5921 them, and shewed 7200 z8686 them x853 the house 1004 of his precious things, 5238 x853 the silver, 3701 and the gold, 2091 and the spices, 1314 and the precious 2896 ointment, 8081 and all x3605 the house 1004 of his armour, 3627 and all x3605 that x834 was found 4672 z8738 in his treasures: 214 there was x1961 nothing 1697 x3808 in his house, 1004 nor in all x3605 his dominion, 4475 that x834 Hezekiah 2396 shewed 7200 z8689 them not. x3808

 39:3 ¶ Then came 935 z8799 Isaiah 3470 the prophet 5030 unto x413 king 4428 Hezekiah, 2396 and said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, What x4100 said 559 z8804 these x428 men? y582 x376 and from whence 370 x4480 came 935 z8799 they unto x413 thee? And Hezekiah 2396 said, 559 z8799 They are come 935 z8804 from a far 7350 country 776 x4480 unto x413 me, [even] from Babylon. 894 x4480

 39:4 Then said 559 z8799 he, What x4100 have they seen 7200 z8804 in thine house? 1004 And Hezekiah 2396 answered, 559 z8799 x853 All x3605 that x834 [is] in mine house 1004 have they seen: 7200 z8804 there is x1961 nothing 1697 x3808 among my treasures 214 that x834 I have not x3808 shewed 7200 z8689 them.

 39:5 Then said 559 z8799 Isaiah 3470 to x413 Hezekiah, 2396 Hear 8085 z8798 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 of hosts: 6635

 39:6 Behold, x2009 the days 3117 come, 935 z8802 that all x3605 that x834 [is] in thine house, 1004 and [that] which x834 thy fathers 1 have laid up in store 686 z8804 until x5704 this x2088 day, 3117 shall be carried 5375 z8738 to Babylon: 894 nothing 1697 x3808 shall be left, 3498 z8735 saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068

 39:7 And of thy sons 1121 x4480 that x834 shall issue 3318 z8799 from x4480 thee, which x834 thou shalt beget, 3205 z8686 shall they take away; 3947 z8799 and they shall be x1961 eunuchs 5631 in the palace 1964 of the king 4428 of Babylon. 894

 39:8 Then said 559 z8799 Hezekiah 2396 to x413 Isaiah, 3470 Good 2896 [is] the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 which x834 thou hast spoken. 1696 z8765 He said 559 z8799 moreover, For x3588 there shall be x1961 peace 7965 and truth 571 in my days. 3117
