Isaiah 46

1 The idols of Babylon could not save themselves. 3 God saveth his people to the end. 5 Idols are not comparable to God for power, 12 or present salvation.

 46:1 ¶ Bel 1078 boweth down, 3766 z8804 Nebo 5015 stoopeth, 7164 z8802 their idols 6091 were x1961 upon the beasts, 2416 and upon the cattle: 929 your carriages 5385 [were] heavy loaden; 6006 z8803 [they are] a burden 4853 to the weary 5889 [beast].

 46:2 They stoop, 7164 z8804 they bow down 3766 z8804 together; 3162 they could 3201 z8804 not x3808 deliver 4422 z8763 the burden, 4853 but themselves 5315 are gone 1980 z8804 into captivity. 7628

 46:3 ¶ Hearken 8085 z8798 unto x413 me, O house 1004 of Jacob, 3290 and all x3605 the remnant 7611 of the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 which are borne 6006 z8803 [by me] from x4480 the belly, 990 which are carried 5375 z8803 from x4480 the womb: 7356

 46:4 And [even] to x5704 [your] old age 2209 I x589 [am] he; x1931 and [even] to x5704 hoar hairs 7872 will I x589 carry 5445 z8799 [you]: I x589 have made, 6213 z8804 and I x589 will bear; 5375 z8799 even I x589 will carry, 5445 z8799 and will deliver 4422 z8762 [you].

 46:5 ¶ To whom x4310 will ye liken 1819 z8762 me, and make [me] equal, 7737 z8686 and compare 4911 z8686 me, that we may be like? 1819 z8799

 46:6 They lavish 2107 z8801 gold 2091 out of the bag, 3599 x4480 and weigh 8254 z8799 silver 3701 in the balance, 7070 [and] hire 7936 z8799 a goldsmith; 6884 z8802 and he maketh 6213 z8799 it a god: 410 they fall down, 5456 z8799 yea, x637 they worship. 7812 z8691

 46:13 I bring near 7126 z8765 my righteousness; 6666 it shall not x3808 be far off, 7368 z8799 and my salvation 8668 shall not x3808 tarry: 309 z8762 and I will place 5414 z8804 salvation 8668 in Zion 6726 for Israel 3478 my glory. 8597
