Isaiah 2

1 Isaiah prophesieth the coming of Christ's Kingdom. 6 Wickedness is the cause of God's forsaking. 10 He exhorteth to fear, because of the powerful effects of God's majesty.

 2:1 ¶ The word 1697 that x834 Isaiah 3470 the son 1121 of Amoz 531 saw 2372 z8804 concerning x5921 Judah 3063 and Jerusalem. 3389

 2:2 And it shall come to pass x1961 in the last 319 days, 3117 [that] the mountain 2022 of the LORD'S 3068 house 1004 shall be x1961 established 3559 z8737 in the top 7218 of the mountains, 2022 and shall be exalted 5375 z8737 above the hills; 1389 x4480 and all x3605 nations 1471 shall flow 5102 z8804 unto x413 it.

 2:3 And many 7227 people 5971 shall go 1980 z8804 and say, 559 z8804 Come y3212 z8798 x1980 ye, and let us go up 5927 z8799 to x413 the mountain 2022 of the LORD, 3068 to x413 the house 1004 of the God 430 of Jacob; 3290 and he will teach 3384 z8686 us of his ways, 1870 x4480 and we will walk y3212 z8799 x1980 in his paths: 734 for x3588 out of Zion 6726 x4480 shall go forth 3318 z8799 the law, 8451 and the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 from Jerusalem. 3389 x4480

 2:4 And he shall judge 8199 z8804 among x996 the nations, 1471 and shall rebuke 3198 z8689 many 7227 people: 5971 and they shall beat 3807 z8765 their swords 2719 into plowshares, 855 and their spears 2595 into pruninghooks: 4211 nation 1471 shall not x3808 lift up 5375 z8799 sword 2719 against x413 nation, 1471 neither x3808 shall they learn 3925 z8799 war 4421 any more. x5750

 2:5 O house 1004 of Jacob, 3290 come y3212 z8798 x1980 ye, and let us walk y3212 z8799 x1980 in the light 216 of the LORD. 3068

 2:6 ¶ Therefore x3588 thou hast forsaken 5203 z8804 thy people 5971 the house 1004 of Jacob, 3290 because x3588 they be replenished 4390 z8804 from the east, 6924 x4480 and [are] soothsayers 6049 z8781 like the Philistines, 6430 and they please y5606 z8686 themselves x5606 in the children 3206 of strangers. 5237

 2:7 Their land 776 also is full 4390 z8735 of silver 3701 and gold, 2091 neither x369 [is there any] end 7097 of their treasures; 214 their land 776 is also full 4390 z8735 of horses, 5483 neither x369 [is there any] end 7097 of their chariots: 4818

 2:8 Their land 776 also is full 4390 z8735 of idols; 457 they worship 7812 z8691 the work 4639 of their own hands, 3027 that which x834 their own fingers 676 have made: 6213 z8804

 2:9 And the mean man 120 boweth down, 7817 z8735 and the great man 376 humbleth 8213 z8799 himself: therefore forgive 5375 z8799 them not. x408

 2:10 ¶ Enter 935 z8798 into the rock, 6697 and hide 2934 z8734 thee in the dust, 6083 for 6440 x4480 fear 6343 of the LORD, 3068 and for the glory 1926 x4480 of his majesty. 1347

 2:11 The lofty 1365 looks 5869 of man 120 shall be humbled, 8213 z8804 and the haughtiness 7312 of men y582 x376 shall be bowed down, 7817 z8804 and the LORD 3068 alone x905 shall be exalted 7682 z8738 in that x1931 day. 3117

 2:12 For x3588 the day 3117 of the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 [shall be] upon x5921 every x3605 [one that is] proud 1343 and lofty, 7311 z8802 and upon x5921 every x3605 [one that is] lifted up; 5375 z8737 and he shall be brought low: 8213 z8804

 2:13 And upon x5921 all x3605 the cedars 730 of Lebanon, 3844 [that are] high 7311 z8802 and lifted up, 5375 z8737 and upon x5921 all x3605 the oaks 437 of Bashan, 1316

 2:14 And upon x5921 all x3605 the high 7311 z8802 mountains, 2022 and upon x5921 all x3605 the hills 1389 [that are] lifted up, 5375 z8737

 2:15 And upon x5921 every x3605 high 1364 tower, 4026 and upon x5921 every x3605 fenced 1219 z8803 wall, 2346

 2:16 And upon x5921 all x3605 the ships 591 of Tarshish, 8659 and upon x5921 all x3605 pleasant 2532 pictures. 7914

 2:17 And the loftiness 1365 of man 120 shall be bowed down, 7817 z8804 and the haughtiness 7312 of men y582 x376 shall be made low: 8213 z8804 and the LORD 3068 alone x905 shall be exalted 7682 z8738 in that x1931 day. 3117

 2:18 And the idols 457 he shall utterly 3632 abolish. 2498 z8799

 2:19 And they shall go 935 z8804 into the holes 4631 of the rocks, 6697 and into the caves 4247 of the earth, 6083 for 6440 x4480 fear 6343 of the LORD, 3068 and for the glory 1926 x4480 of his majesty, 1347 when he ariseth 6965 z8800 to shake terribly 6206 z8800 the earth. 776

 2:20 In that x1931 day 3117 a man 120 shall cast 7993 z8686 x853 his idols 457 of silver, 3701 and his idols 457 of gold, 2091 which x834 they made x6213 [each one] for himself y6213 z8804 to worship, 7812 z8692 to the moles 2661 6512 and to the bats; 5847

 2:21 To go 935 z8800 into the clefts 5366 of the rocks, 6697 and into the tops 5585 of the ragged rocks, 5553 for 6440 x4480 fear 6343 of the LORD, 3068 and for the glory 1926 x4480 of his majesty, 1347 when he ariseth 6965 z8800 to shake terribly 6206 z8800 the earth. 776
