Isaiah 43

1 The LORD comforteth the Church with his promises. 8 He appealeth to the people for witness of his omnipotency. 14 He foretelleth them the destruction of Babylon, 18 and his wonderful deliverance of his people. 22 He reproveth the people as inexcusable.

 43:1 ¶ But now x6258 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 that created 1254 z8802 thee, O Jacob, 3290 and he that formed 3335 z8802 thee, O Israel, 3478 Fear 3372 z8799 not: x408 for x3588 I have redeemed 1350 z8804 thee, I have called 7121 z8804 [thee] by thy name; 8034 thou x859 [art] mine.

 43:2 When x3588 thou passest through 5674 z8799 the waters, 4325 I x589 [will be] with x854 thee; and through the rivers, 5104 they shall not x3808 overflow 7857 z8799 thee: when x3588 thou walkest y3212 z8799 x1980 through 1119 the fire, 784 thou shalt not x3808 be burned; 3554 z8735 neither x3808 shall the flame 3852 kindle 1197 z8799 upon thee.

 43:3 For x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 the Holy One 6918 of Israel, 3478 thy Saviour: 3467 z8688 I gave 5414 z8804 Egypt 4714 [for] thy ransom, 3724 Ethiopia 3568 and Seba 5434 for x8478 thee.

 43:4 Since x4480 x834 thou wast precious 3365 z8804 in my sight, 5869 thou hast been honourable, 3513 z8738 and I x589 have loved 157 z8804 thee: therefore will I give 5414 z8799 men 120 for x8478 thee, and people 3816 for x8478 thy life. 5315

 43:5 Fear 3372 z8799 not: x408 for x3588 I x589 [am] with x854 thee: I will bring 935 z8686 thy seed 2233 from the east, 4217 x4480 and gather 6908 z8762 thee from the west; 4628 x4480

 43:6 I will say 559 z8799 to the north, 6828 Give up; 5414 z8798 and to the south, 8486 Keep not back: 3607 z8799 x408 bring 935 z8685 my sons 1121 from far, 7350 x4480 and my daughters 1323 from the ends 7097 x4480 of the earth; 776

 43:7 [Even] every one 3605 that is called 7121 z8737 by my name: 8034 for I have created 1254 z8804 him for my glory, 3519 I have formed 3335 z8804 him; yea, x637 I have made 6213 z8804 him.

 43:8 ¶ Bring forth 3318 z8685 the blind 5787 people 5971 that have 3426 eyes, 5869 and the deaf 2795 that have ears. 241

 43:9 Let all x3605 the nations 1471 be gathered 6908 z8738 together, 3162 and let the people 3816 be assembled: 622 z8735 who x4310 among them can declare 5046 z8686 this, x2063 and shew 8085 z8686 us former things? 7223 let them bring forth 5414 z8799 their witnesses, 5707 that they may be justified: 6663 z8799 or let them hear, 8085 z8799 and say, 559 z8799 [It is] truth. 571

 43:10 Ye x859 [are] my witnesses, 5707 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 and my servant 5650 whom x834 I have chosen: 977 z8804 that x4616 ye may know 3045 z8799 and believe 539 z8686 me, and understand 995 z8799 that x3588 I x589 [am] he: x1931 before 6440 me there was no x3808 God 410 formed, 3335 z8738 neither x3808 shall there be x1961 after 310 me.

 43:11 I, x595 [even] I, x595 [am] the LORD; 3068 and beside 1107 x4480 me [there is] no x369 saviour. 3467 z8688

 43:12 I x595 have declared, 5046 z8689 and have saved, 3467 z8689 and I have shewed, 8085 z8689 when [there was] no x369 strange 2114 z8801 [god] among you: therefore ye x859 [are] my witnesses, 5707 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 that I x589 [am] God. 410

 43:13 Yea, x1571 before the day 3117 x4480 [was] I x589 [am] he; x1931 and [there is] none x369 that can deliver 5337 z8688 out of my hand: 3027 x4480 I will work, 6466 z8799 and who x4310 shall let 7725 z8686 it?

 43:14 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 your redeemer, 1350 z8802 the Holy One 6918 of Israel; 3478 For your sake x4616 I have sent 7971 z8765 to Babylon, 894 and have brought down 3381 z8689 all x3605 their nobles, 1281 and the Chaldeans, 3778 whose cry 7440 [is] in the ships. 591

 43:15 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 your Holy One, 6918 the creator 1254 z8802 of Israel, 3478 your King. 4428

 43:16 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 which maketh 5414 z8802 a way 1870 in the sea, 3220 and a path 5410 in the mighty 5794 waters; 4325

 43:17 Which bringeth forth 3318 z8688 the chariot 7393 and horse, 5483 the army 2428 and the power; 5808 they shall lie down 7901 z8799 together, 3162 they shall not x1077 rise: 6965 z8799 they are extinct, 1846 z8804 they are quenched 3518 z8804 as tow. 6594

 43:18 ¶ Remember 2142 z8799 ye not x408 the former things, 7223 neither x408 consider 995 z8709 the things of old. 6931

 43:19 Behold, x2009 I will do 6213 z8802 a new thing; 2319 now x6258 it shall spring forth; 6779 z8799 shall ye not x3808 know 3045 z8799 it? I will even x637 make 7760 z8799 a way 1870 in the wilderness, 4057 [and] rivers 5104 in the desert. 3452

 43:20 The beast 2416 of the field 7704 shall honour 3513 z8762 me, the dragons y8577 x8565 and the owls: 1323 3284 because x3588 I give 5414 z8804 waters 4325 in the wilderness, 4057 [and] rivers 5104 in the desert, 3452 to give drink 8248 z8687 to my people, 5971 my chosen. 972

 43:21 This 2098 people 5971 have I formed 3335 z8804 for myself; they shall shew forth 5608 z8762 my praise. 8416

 43:22 ¶ But thou hast not x3808 called y7121 z8804 upon x7121 me, O Jacob; 3290 but x3588 thou hast been weary 3021 z8804 of me, O Israel. 3478

 43:23 Thou hast not x3808 brought 935 z8689 me the small cattle 7716 of thy burnt offerings; 5930 neither x3808 hast thou honoured 3513 z8765 me with thy sacrifices. 2077 I have not x3808 caused thee to serve 5647 z8689 with an offering, 4503 nor x3808 wearied 3021 z8689 thee with incense. 3828

 43:24 Thou hast bought 7069 z8804 me no x3808 sweet cane 7070 with money, 3701 neither x3808 hast thou filled 7301 z8689 me with the fat 2459 of thy sacrifices: 2077 but x389 thou hast made me to serve 5647 z8689 with thy sins, 2403 thou hast wearied 3021 z8689 me with thine iniquities. 5771

 43:25 I, x595 [even] I, x595 [am] he x1931 that blotteth out 4229 z8802 thy transgressions 6588 for mine own sake, x4616 and will not x3808 remember 2142 z8799 thy sins. 2403

 43:26 Put me in remembrance: 2142 z8685 let us plead 8199 z8735 together: 3162 declare 5608 z8761 thou, x859 that x4616 thou mayest be justified. 6663 z8799

 43:27 Thy first 7223 father 1 hath sinned, 2398 z8804 and thy teachers 3887 z8688 have transgressed 6586 z8804 against me.

 43:28 Therefore I have profaned 2490 z8762 the princes 8269 of the sanctuary, 6944 and have given 5414 z8799 Jacob 3290 to the curse, 2764 and Israel 3478 to reproaches. 1421
