Genesis 47

1 Joseph presenteth five of his brethren, 7 and his father, before Pharaoh. 11 He giveth them habitation and maintenance. 13 He getteth all the Egyptians' money, 16 their cattle, 18 their lands to Pharaoh. 22 The priests' land was not bought. 23 He letteth the land to them for a fifth part. 28 Jacob's age. 29 He sweareth Joseph to bury him with his fathers.

 47:1 ¶ Then Joseph 3130 came 935 z8799 and told 5046 z8686 Pharaoh, 6547 and said, 559 z8799 My father 1 and my brethren, 251 and their flocks, 6629 and their herds, 1241 and all x3605 that x834 they have, are come x935 out y935 z8804 of the land 776 x4480 of Canaan; 3667 and, behold, x2009 they [are] in the land 776 of Goshen. 1657

 47:2 And he took 3947 z8804 some 7097 x4480 of his brethren, 251 [even] five 2568 men, y582 x376 and presented 3322 z8686 them unto 6440 Pharaoh. 6547

 47:3 And Pharaoh 6547 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his brethren, 251 What x4100 [is] your occupation? 4639 And they said 559 z8799 unto x413 Pharaoh, 6547 Thy servants 5650 [are] shepherds, 7462 6629 z8802 both x1571 we, x587 [and] also x1571 our fathers. 1

 47:4 They said 559 z8799 moreover unto x413 Pharaoh, 6547 For to sojourn 1481 z8800 in the land 776 are we come; 935 z8804 for x3588 x834 thy servants 5650 have no x369 pasture 4829 for their flocks; 6629 for x3588 the famine 7458 [is] sore 3515 in the land 776 of Canaan: 3667 now x6258 therefore, we pray thee, x4994 let thy servants 5650 dwell 3427 z8799 in the land 776 of Goshen. 1657

 47:5 And Pharaoh 6547 spake 559 z8799 unto x413 Joseph, 3130 saying, 559 z8800 Thy father 1 and thy brethren 251 are come 935 z8804 unto x413 thee:

 47:6 The land 776 of Egypt 4714 [is] before x6440 thee; y6440 in the best 4315 of the land 776 make y3427 z0 x853 thy father 1 and brethren 251 to dwell; 3427 z8685 in the land 776 of Goshen 1657 let them dwell: 3427 z8799 and if x518 thou knowest 3045 z8804 y3426 [any] men y582 x376 of activity 2428 among them, then make x7760 them y7760 z8804 rulers 8269 over my x5921 x834 cattle. 4735

 47:7 And Joseph 3130 brought in 935 z8686 x853 Jacob 3290 his father, 1 and set x5975 him y5975 z8686 before 6440 Pharaoh: 6547 and Jacob 3290 blessed 1288 z8762 x853 Pharaoh. 6547

 47:8 And Pharaoh 6547 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Jacob, 3290 How 4100 old 2416 3117 8141 [art] thou?

 47:9 And Jacob 3290 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Pharaoh, 6547 The days 3117 of the years 8141 of my pilgrimage 4033 [are] an hundred 3967 and thirty 7970 years: 8141 few 4592 and evil 7451 have the days 3117 of the years 8141 of my life 2416 been, x1961 and have not x3808 attained y5381 z8689 unto x5381 x853 the days 3117 of the years 8141 of the life 2416 of my fathers 1 in the days 3117 of their pilgrimage. 4033

 47:10 And Jacob 3290 blessed 1288 z8762 x853 Pharaoh, 6547 and went out 3318 z8799 from before 6440 x4480 Pharaoh. 6547

 47:11 ¶ And Joseph 3130 placed 3427 z8686 x853 his father 1 and his brethren, 251 and gave 5414 z8799 them a possession 272 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 in the best 4315 of the land, 776 in the land 776 of Rameses, 7486 as x834 Pharaoh 6547 had commanded. 6680 z8765

 47:12 And Joseph 3130 nourished 3557 z8770 x853 his father, 1 and his brethren, 251 and all x3605 his father's 1 household, 1004 with bread, 3899 according y6310 to x6310 [their] families. 2945

 47:13 ¶ And [there was] no x369 bread 3899 in all x3605 the land; 776 for x3588 the famine 7458 [was] very 3966 sore, 3515 so that the land 776 of Egypt 4714 and [all] the land 776 of Canaan 3667 fainted 3856 z8799 by reason y6440 of x4480 x6440 the famine. 7458

 47:14 And Joseph 3130 gathered up 3950 z8762 x853 all x3605 the money 3701 that was found 4672 z8737 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 and in the land 776 of Canaan, 3667 for the corn 7668 which x834 they x1992 bought: 7666 z8802 and Joseph 3130 brought 935 z8686 x853 the money 3701 into Pharaoh's 6547 house. 1004

 47:15 And when money 3701 failed 8552 z8799 in the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 and in the land 776 x4480 of Canaan, 3667 all x3605 the Egyptians 4714 came 935 z8799 unto x413 Joseph, 3130 and said, 559 z8800 Give 3051 z8798 us bread: 3899 for why x4100 should we die 4191 z8799 in thy presence? x5048 for x3588 the money 3701 faileth. 656 z8804

 47:16 And Joseph 3130 said, 559 z8799 Give 3051 z8798 your cattle; 4735 and I will give 5414 z8799 you for your cattle, 4735 if x518 money 3701 fail. 656 z8804

 47:17 And they brought 935 z8686 x853 their cattle 4735 unto x413 Joseph: 3130 and Joseph 3130 gave 5414 z8799 them bread 3899 [in exchange] for horses, 5483 and for the flocks, 6629 x4735 and for the cattle 4735 of the herds, 1241 and for the asses: 2543 and he fed 5095 z8762 them with bread 3899 for all x3605 their cattle 4735 for that x1931 year. 8141

 47:18 When that x1931 year 8141 was ended, 8552 z8799 they came 935 z8799 unto x413 him the second 8145 year, 8141 and said 559 z8799 unto him, We will not x3808 hide 3582 z8762 [it] from x4480 my lord, 113 how that x3588 x518 our money 3701 is spent; 8552 z8804 my lord 113 also hath 413 our herds 4735 of cattle; 929 there is not x3808 ought left 7604 z8738 in the sight 6440 of my lord, 113 but x1115 x518 our bodies, 1472 and our lands: 127

 47:19 Wherefore x4100 shall we die 4191 z8799 before thine eyes, 5869 both x1571 we x587 and x1571 our land? 127 buy 7069 z8798 us and our land 127 for bread, 3899 and we x587 and our land 127 will be x1961 servants 5650 unto Pharaoh: 6547 and give 5414 z8798 [us] seed, 2233 that we may live, 2421 z8799 and not x3808 die, 4191 z8799 that the land 127 be not desolate. 3456 z8799 x3808

 47:20 And Joseph 3130 bought 7069 z8799 x853 all x3605 the land 127 of Egypt 4714 for Pharaoh; 6547 for x3588 the Egyptians 4714 sold 4376 z8804 every man 376 his field, 7704 because x3588 the famine 7458 prevailed 2388 z8804 over x5921 them: so the land 776 became x1961 Pharaoh's. 6547

 47:21 And as for the people, 5971 he removed 5674 z8689 them to cities 5892 from [one] end 7097 x4480 of the borders 1366 of Egypt 4714 even to x5704 the [other] end 7097 thereof.

 47:22 Only x7535 the land 127 of the priests 3548 bought x7069 he y7069 z8804 not; x3808 for x3588 the priests 3548 had a portion 2706 [assigned them] of x4480 x854 Pharaoh, 6547 and did eat 398 z8804 x853 their portion 2706 which x834 Pharaoh 6547 gave 5414 z8804 them: wherefore x5921 x3651 they sold 4376 z8804 not x3808 x853 their lands. 127

 47:23 Then Joseph 3130 said 559 z8799 unto x413 the people, 5971 Behold, x2005 I have bought 7069 z8804 y853 you this day 3117 and your land 127 for Pharaoh: 6547 lo, 1887 [here is] seed 2233 for you, and ye shall sow 2232 z8804 x853 the land. 127

 47:24 And it shall come to pass x1961 in the increase, 8393 that ye shall give 5414 z8804 the fifth 2549 [part] unto Pharaoh, 6547 and four 702 parts 3027 shall be x1961 your own, for seed 2233 of the field, 7704 and for your food, 400 and for them x834 of your households, 1004 and for food 398 z8800 for your little ones. 2945

 47:25 And they said, 559 z8799 Thou hast saved our lives: 2421 z8689 let us find 4672 z8799 grace 2580 in the sight 5869 of my lord, 113 and we will be x1961 Pharaoh's 6547 servants. 5650

 47:26 And Joseph 3130 made 7760 z8799 it a law 2706 over x5921 the land 127 of Egypt 4714 unto x5704 this x2088 day, 3117 [that] Pharaoh 6547 should have the fifth 2569 [part]; except 7535 the land 127 of the priests 3548 only, x905 [which] became x1961 not x3808 Pharaoh's. 6547

 47:27 ¶ And Israel 3478 dwelt 3427 z8799 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 in the country 776 of Goshen; 1657 and they had possessions 270 z8735 therein, and grew, 6509 z8799 and multiplied 7235 z8799 exceedingly. 3966

 47:28 And Jacob 3290 lived 2421 z8799 in the land 776 of Egypt 4714 seventeen 6240 7651 years: 8141 so the whole age 2416 3117 x8141 of Jacob 3290 was x1961 an hundred 3967 forty 705 y8141 and seven 7651 years. 8141

 47:29 And the time 3117 drew nigh 7126 z8799 that Israel 3478 must die: 4191 z8800 and he called 7121 z8799 his son 1121 Joseph, 3130 and said 559 z8799 unto him, If x518 now x4994 I have found 4672 z8804 grace 2580 in thy sight, 5869 put, 7760 z8798 I pray thee, x4994 thy hand 3027 under x8478 my thigh, 3409 and deal 6213 z8804 kindly 2617 and truly 571 with x5973 me; bury 6912 z8799 me not, x408 I pray thee, x4994 in Egypt: 4714

 47:30 But I will lie 7901 z8804 with x5973 my fathers, 1 and thou shalt carry 5375 z8804 me out of Egypt, 4714 x4480 and bury 6912 z8804 me in their buryingplace. 6900 And he said, 559 z8799 I x595 will do 6213 z8799 as thou hast said. 1697

 47:31 And he said, 559 z8799 Swear 7650 z8734 unto me. And he sware 7650 z8735 unto him. And Israel 3478 bowed y7812 z8691 himself x7812 upon x5921 the bed's 4296 head. 7218
