Genesis 46

1 Jacob is comforted by God at Beer-sheba. 5 Thence he with his company goeth into Egypt. 8 The number of his family that went into Egypt. 28 Joseph meeteth Jacob. 31 He instructeth his brethren how to answer to Pharaoh.

 46:1 ¶ And Israel 3478 took his journey 5265 z8799 with all x3605 that x834 he had, and came 935 z8799 to Beersheba, 884 and offered 2076 z8799 sacrifices 2077 unto the God 430 of his father 1 Isaac. 3327

 46:2 And God 430 spake 559 z8799 unto Israel 3478 in the visions 4759 of the night, 3915 and said, 559 z8799 Jacob, 3290 Jacob. 3290 And he said, 559 z8799 Here x2009 [am] I.

 46:3 And he said, 559 z8799 I x595 [am] God, 410 the God 430 of thy father: 1 fear 3372 z8799 not x408 to go down 3381 z8800 x4480 into Egypt; 4714 for x3588 I will there x8033 make 7760 z8799 of thee a great 1419 nation: 1471

 46:4 I x595 will go down 3381 z8799 with x5973 thee into Egypt; 4714 and I x595 will also x1571 surely y5927 z8800 bring thee up 5927 z8686 [again]: and Joseph 3130 shall put 7896 z8799 his hand 3027 upon x5921 thine eyes. 5869

 46:31 And Joseph 3130 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his brethren, 251 and unto x413 his father's 1 house, 1004 I will go up, 5927 z8799 and shew 5046 z8686 Pharaoh, 6547 and say 559 z8799 unto x413 him, My brethren, 251 and my father's 1 house, 1004 which x834 [were] in the land 776 of Canaan, 3667 are come 935 z8804 unto x413 me;

 46:32 And the men y582 x376 [are] shepherds, 7462 6629 z8802 for x3588 their trade x376 hath been x1961 to feed cattle; 4735 and they have brought 935 z8689 their flocks, 6629 and their herds, 1241 and all x3605 that x834 they have.

 46:33 And it shall come to pass, x1961 when x3588 Pharaoh 6547 shall call 7121 z8799 you, and shall say, 559 z8804 What x4100 [is] your occupation? 4639

 46:34 That ye shall say, 559 z8804 Thy servants' 5650 trade y582 x376 hath been x1961 about cattle 4735 from our youth 5271 x4480 even until x5704 now, x6258 both x1571 we, x587 [and] also x1571 our fathers: 1 that x5668 ye may dwell 3427 z8799 in the land 776 of Goshen; 1657 for x3588 every x3605 shepherd 7462 6629 z8802 [is] an abomination 8441 unto the Egyptians. 4714
