1 How the lamps are to be lighted. 5 The consecration of the Levites. 23 The age and time of their service.

 8:1 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 saying, 559 z8800

 8:2 Speake 1696 z8761 vnto x413 Aaron, 175 and say 559 z8804 vnto x413 him, When thou lightest 5927 z8687 x853 the lampes, 5216 the seuen 7651 lampes 5216 shall giue light, 215 z8686 ouer against 6440 4136 x413 the candlesticke. 4501

 8:3 And Aaron 175 did 6213 z8799 so; x3651 he lighted 5927 z8689 the lampes 5216 therof, ouer against 4136 6440 x413 the candlestick, 4501 as x834 the LORD 3068 comanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses. 4872

 8:4 And this x2088 worke 4639 of the candlestick 4501 [was] of beaten 4749 gold, 2091 vnto x5704 the shaft 3409 thereof, vnto x5704 the flowres 6525 thereof was beaten worke: 4749 according vnto the paterne 4758 which x834 the LORD 3068 had shewed 7200 z8689 x853 Moses, 4872 so x3651 he made 6213 z8804 x853 the candlesticke. 4501

 8:5 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 saying, 559 z8800

 8:6 Take 3947 z8798 x853 the Leuites 3881 from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 and cleanse 2891 z8765 them.

 8:7 And thus x3541 shalt thou doe 6213 z8799 vnto them, to cleanse 2891 z8763 them: sprinkle 5137 z8685 water 4325 of purifying 2403 vpon x5921 them, and let them shaue 8593 5674 z8689 x5921 all x3605 their flesh, 1320 and let them wash 3526 z8765 their clothes, 899 and so make themselues cleane. 2891 z8694

 8:8 Then let them take 3947 z8804 a yong 1121 1241 bullocke 6499 with his meat offering, 4503 [euen] fine flowre 5560 mingled 1101 z8803 with oyle, 8081 and an other 8145 yong 1121 1241 bullock 6499 shalt thou take 3947 z8799 for a sinne offering. 2403

 8:9 And thou shalt bring 7126 z8689 x853 the Leuites 3881 before 6440 the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation; 4150 and thou shalt gather 6950 z0 x853 the whole x3605 assembly 5712 of the children 1121 of Israel 3478 together. y6950 z8689

 8:10 And thou shalt bring 7126 z8689 x853 the Leuites 3881 before 6440 the LORD, 3068 and the children 1121 of Israel 3478 shall put 5564 z8804 x853 their hands 3027 vpon x5921 the Leuites. 3881

 8:11 And Aaron 175 shall offer 5130 z8689 x853 the Leuites 3881 before 6440 the LORD 3068 for an offring 8573 of x4480 x854 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 that they may execute 5647 z8800 x1961 x853 the seruice 5656 of the LORD. 3068

 8:12 And the Leuites 3881 shall lay 5564 z8799 x853 their hands 3027 vpon x5921 the heads 7218 of the bullocks: 6499 and thou shalt offer 6213 z8798 x853 the one 259 for a sinne offering, 2403 and the other 259 for a burnt offering 5930 vnto the LORD, 3068 to make an atonement 3722 z8763 for x5921 the Leuites. 3881

 8:13 And thou shalt set 5975 z8689 x853 the Leuites 3881 before 6440 Aaron, 175 and before 6440 his sonnes, 1121 and offer 5130 z8689 them for an offering 8573 vnto the LORD. 3068

 8:14 Thus shalt thou separate 914 z8689 x853 the Leuites 3881 from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Israel: 3478 and the Leuites 3881 shalbe x1961 mine.

 8:15 And after 310 that, x3651 shall the Leuites 3881 goe in; 935 z8799 to doe the seruice 5647 z8800 x853 of the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation: 4150 and thou shalt clense 2891 z8765 them, and offer 5130 z8689 them for an offering. 8573

 8:16 For x3588 they x1992 are wholly giuen 5414 z8803 vnto me, from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Israel: 3478 in stead of x8478 such as open 6363 euery x3605 wombe, 7358 [euen in stead of] the first borne 1060 of all x3605 the children 1121 x4480 of Israel, 3478 haue I taken 3947 z8804 them vnto me.

 8:17 For x3588 all x3605 the first borne 1060 of the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 [are] mine, both man 120 and beast: 929 on the day 3117 that I smote 5221 z8687 euery x3605 first borne 1060 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 I sanctified 6942 z8689 them for my selfe.

 8:18 And I haue taken 3947 z8799 x853 the Leuites 3881 for x8478 all x3605 the first borne 1060 of the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 8:19 And I haue giuen 5414 z8799 x853 the Leuites 3881 [as] a gift 5414 z8803 to Aaron, 175 and to his sonnes, 1121 from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 to do 5647 z8800 x853 the seruice 5656 of the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 in the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation, 4150 and to make an atonement 3722 z8763 for x5921 the children 1121 of Israel: 3478 that there bee x1961 no x3808 plague 5063 among the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 when the children 1121 of Israel 3478 come nigh 5066 z8800 vnto x413 the Sanctuarie. 6944

 8:20 And Moses 4872 and Aaron, 175 and all x3605 the Congregation 5712 of the children 1121 of Israel 3478 did 6213 z8799 to the Leuites 3881 according vnto all x3605 that x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses, 4872 concerning the Leuites, 3881 so x3651 did 6213 z8804 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 vnto them.

 8:21 And the Leuites 3881 were purified, 2398 z8691 and they washed 3526 z8762 their clothes: 899 and Aaron 175 offered 5130 z8686 them as an offering 8573 before 6440 the LORD, 3068 and Aaron 175 made an atonement 3722 z8762 for x5921 them to cleanse 2891 z8763 them.

 8:22 And after 310 that, x3651 went y935 z8804 the Leuites y3881 in, x935 x3881 to do 5647 z8800 x853 their seruice 5656 in the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation 4150 before 6440 Aaron 175 and and before 6440 his sonnes: 1121 as x834 the LORD 3068 had commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses 4872 concerning x5921 the Leuites, 3881 so x3651 did 6213 z8804 they vnto them.

 8:23 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 saying, 559 z8800

 8:24 This x2063 [is it] that x834 belongeth vnto the Leuites: 3881 from twentie 6242 and fiue 2568 yeeres 8141 old, 1121 x4480 and vpward, 4605 they shall goe in 935 z8799 to waite y6633 z8800 y6635 vpon x6633 x6635 the seruice 5656 of the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation. 4150

 8:25 And from the age 1121 x4480 of fiftie 2572 yeeres 8141 they shall cease y7725 z8799 waiting y6635 vpon x7725 x4480 x6635 the seruice 5656 thereof, and shall serue 5647 z8799 no x3808 more: x5750

 8:26 But shall minister 8334 z8765 with x854 their brethren 251 in the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation, 4150 to keepe 8104 z8800 the charge, 4931 and shall doe 5647 z8799 no x3808 seruice: 5656 thus x3602 shalt thou doe 6213 z8799 vnto the Leuites, 3881 touching their charge. 4931
