Numbers 24

1 Balaam, leaving divinations, prophesieth the happiness of Israel. 10 Balak in anger dismisseth him. 15 He prophesieth of the Star of Jacob, and the destruction of some nations.

 24:1 ¶ And when Balaam 1109 sawe 7200 z8799 that x3588 it pleased 5869 2895 z8804 the LORD 3068 to blesse 1288 z8763 x853 Israel, 3478 hee went 1980 z8804 not, x3808 as at other times 6471 to seeke 7125 z8800 for inchantments, 5173 but hee set 7896 z8799 his face 6440 toward x413 the wildernesse. 4057

 24:2 And Balaam 1109 lift vp 5375 z8799 x853 his eyes, 5869 and he saw 7200 z8799 x853 Israel 3478 abiding 7931 z8802 in his tents, according to their Tribes: 7626 and the Spirit 7307 of God 430 came x1961 vpon x5921 him.

 24:3 And he tooke vp 5375 z8799 his parable, 4912 and said, 559 z8799 Balaam 1109 the sonne 1121 of Beor 1160 hath said, 5002 z8803 and the man 1397 whose eyes 5869 are open 8365 z8803 hath said: 5002 z8803

 24:4 Hee hath said, 5002 z8803 [which] heard 8085 z8802 the words 561 of God, 410 which x834 saw 2372 z8799 the vision 4236 of the Almightie, 7706 falling 5307 z8802 [into a trance], but hauing his eyes 5869 open: 1540 z8803

 24:5 How x4100 goodly 2895 z8804 are thy tents, 168 O Iacob, 3290 [and] thy Tabernacles, 4908 O Israel! 3478

 24:6 As the valleyes 5158 are they spread forth, 5186 z8738 as gardens 1593 by x5921 the riuer x5104 side, y5104 as the trees of Lign-Aloes 174 which the LORD 3068 hath planted, 5193 z8804 [and] as Cedar trees 730 beside x5921 the waters. 4325

 24:7 He shall powre 5140 z0 the water 4325 out y5140 z8799 of his buckets, 1805 x4480 and his seed 2233 [shall be] in many 7227 waters, 4325 and his King 4428 shall be higher 7311 z8799 then Agag, 90 x4480 and his Kingdome 4438 shall be exalted. 5375 z8691

 24:8 God 410 brought him forth 3318 z8688 out of Egypt, 4714 x4480 he hath as it were the strength 8443 of an Unicorne: 7214 he shall eate vp 398 z8799 the nations 1471 his enemies, 6862 and shall breake 1633 z8762 their bones, 6106 and pierce y4272 z8799 [them] thorow x4272 with his arrowes. 2671

 24:9 Hee couched, 3766 z8804 he lay downe 7901 z8804 as a Lyon, 738 and as a great Lyon: 3833 who x4310 shal stirre him vp? 6965 z8686 Blessed 1288 z8803 [is] hee that blesseth 1288 z8764 thee, and cursed 779 z8803 [is] hee that curseth 779 z8802 thee.

 24:10 ¶ And Balaks 1111 anger 639 was kindled 2734 z8799 against x413 Balaam, 1109 and hee smote y5606 z0 his hands y3709 together: 5606 z8799 x853 x3709 and Balak 1111 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Balaam, 1109 I called 7121 z8804 thee to curse 6895 z8800 mine enemies, 341 z8802 and behold, x2009 thou hast altogether y1288 z8763 blessed 1288 z8765 [them] these x2088 three 7969 times. 6471

 24:11 Therefore now, x6258 flee 1272 z8798 thou to x413 thy place: 4725 I thought 559 z8804 to promote y3513 z0 thee vnto great y3513 z8763 honour, 3513 z8762 but loe, x2009 the LORD 3068 hath kept thee backe 4513 z8804 from honour. 3519 x4480

 24:12 And Balaam 1109 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Balak, 1111 Spake 1696 z8765 I not x3808 also x1571 to x413 thy messengers 4397 which x834 thou sentest 7971 z8804 vnto x413 me, saying, 559 z8800

 24:13 If x518 Balak 1111 would give 5414 z8799 mee his house 1004 full 4393 of siluer 3701 and gold, 2091 I cannot 3201 z8799 x3808 goe beyond 5674 z8800 x853 the commandement 6310 of the LORD, 3068 to doe 6213 z8800 either good 2896 or x176 bad 7451 of mine owne mind? 3820 x4480 [but] what x834 the LORD 3068 saith, 1696 z8762 that will I speake. 1696 z8762

 24:14 And now x6258 beholde, x2009 I goe 1980 z8802 vnto my people: 5971 come y3212 z8798 x1980 therefore, and I will aduertise 3289 z8799 thee, what x834 this x2088 people 5971 shall doe 6213 z8799 to thy people 5971 in the latter 319 dayes. 3117

 24:15 ¶ And hee tooke vp 5375 z8799 his parable, 4912 and said, 559 z8799 Balaam 1109 the sonne 1121 of Beor 1160 hath said, 5002 z8803 and the man 1397 [whose] eyes 5869 are open, 8365 z8803 hath said: 5002 z8803

 24:16 He hath said 5002 z8803 which heard 8085 z8802 the words 561 of God, 410 and knewe 3045 z8802 the knowledge 1847 of the most High, 5945 [which] sawe 2372 z8799 the vision 4236 of the Almightie, 7706 falling 5307 z8802 into a trance, but hauing his eyes 5869 open. 1540 z8803

 24:17 I shall see 7200 z8799 him, but not x3808 now: x6258 I shall behold 7789 z8799 him, but not x3808 nigh: 7138 There shall come 1869 z8804 a starre 3556 out of Iacob, 3290 x4480 and a Scepter 7626 shall rise 6965 z8804 out of Israel, 3478 x4480 and shall smite 4272 z8804 the corners 6285 of Moab, 4124 and destroy y6979 z8773 x4272 all x3605 the children 1121 of Sheth. 8352 z8676 y8351

 24:18 And Edom 123 shall bee x1961 a possession, 3424 Seir 8165 also shall be x1961 a possession 3424 for his enemies, 341 z8802 and Israel 3478 shall doe 6213 z8802 valiantly. 2428

 24:19 Out of Iacob 3290 x4480 shall come he that shall haue dominion, 7287 z8799 and shall destroy 6 z8689 him that remaineth 8300 of the citie. 5892 x4480

 24:20 ¶ And when he looked y7200 z8799 on x7200 x853 Amalek, 6002 he tooke vp 5375 z8799 his parable, 4912 and sayd, 559 z8799 Amalek 6002 [was] the first 7225 of the nations, 1471 but his latter y319 end x319 [shall bee], that hee perish 8 for euer. 5703

 24:21 And hee looked y7200 z8799 on x7200 x853 the Kenites, 7017 and tooke vp 5375 z8799 his parable, 4912 and saide, 559 z8799 Strong 386 is thy dwelling place, 4186 and thou puttest 7760 z8798 thy nest 7064 in a rocke: 5553

 24:22 Neuerthelesse, x3588 x518 the Kenite 7014 shall y518 be x1961 wasted, 1197 z8763 vntil x5704 x4100 Asshur 804 shal carie thee away captiue. 7617 z8799

 24:23 And he tooke vp 5375 z8799 his parable, 4912 and said, 559 z8799 Alas! 188 who x4310 shall liue 2421 z8799 when God 410 doeth 7760 z8800 x4480 this?

 24:24 And shippes 6716 [shall come] from the coast 3027 x4480 of Chittim, 3794 and shal afflict 6031 z8765 Asshur, 804 and shall afflict 6031 z8765 Eber, 5677 and hee x1931 also x1571 shall perish 8 for euer. 5703

 24:25 And Balaam 1109 rose vp, 6965 z8799 and went y3212 z8799 x1980 and returned 7725 z8799 to his place: 4725 and Balak 1111 also x1571 went 1980 z8804 his way. 1870
