1 The daughters of Zelophehad sue for an inheritance. 6 The law of inheritances. 12 Moses, being told of his death, sueth for a successor. 18 Joshua is appointed to succeed him.

 27:1 ¶ Then came 7126 z8799 the daughters 1323 of Zelophehad, 6765 the sonne 1121 of Hepher, 2660 the sonne 1121 of Gilead, 1568 the sonne 1121 of Machir, 4353 the sonne 1121 of Manasseh, 4519 of the families 4940 of Manasseh, 4519 the sonne 1121 of Ioseph; 3130 and these x428 are the names 8034 of his daughters: 1323 Mahlah, 4244 Noah, 5270 and Hoglah, 2295 and Milcah, 4435 and Tirzah. 8656

 27:2 And they stood 5975 z8799 before 6440 Moses, 4872 and before 6440 Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 and before 6440 the Princes, 5387 and all x3605 the Congregation, 5712 by the doore 6607 of the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation, 4150 saying, 559 z8800

 27:3 Our father 1 died 4191 z8804 in the wildernesse, 4057 and he x1931 was x1961 not x3808 in 8432 the company 5712 of them that gathered themselues together 3259 z8737 against x5921 the LORD 3068 in the company 5712 of Korah: 7141 but x3588 died 4191 z8804 in his owne sinne, 2399 and had x1961 no x3808 sonnes. 1121

 27:4 Why x4100 should the name 8034 of our father 1 be done away 1639 z8735 from among 8432 x4480 his family, 4940 because x3588 he hath no x369 sonne? 1121 Giue 5414 z8798 vnto vs [therefore] a possession 272 among 8432 the brethren 251 of our father. 1

 27:5 And Moses 4872 brought 7126 z8686 x853 their cause 4941 before 6440 the LORD. 3068

 27:6 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 saying, 559 z8800

 27:7 The daughters 1323 of Zelophehad 6765 speake 1696 z8802 right: 3651 thou shalt surely y5414 z8800 giue 5414 z8799 them a possession 272 of an inheritance 5159 among 8432 their fathers 1 brethren, 251 and thou shalt cause x853 the inheritance 5159 of their father 1 to passe 5674 z8689 vnto them.

 27:8 And thou shalt speake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 saying, 559 z8800 If x3588 a man 376 die, 4191 z8799 and haue no x369 sonne, 1121 then yee shall cause x853 his inheritance 5159 to passe 5674 z8689 vnto his daughter. 1323

 27:9 And if x518 he haue no x369 daughter, 1323 then yee shall giue 5414 z8804 x853 his inheritance 5159 vnto his brethren. 251

 27:10 And if x518 he haue no x369 brethren, 251 then yee shall giue 5414 z8804 x853 his inheritance 5159 vnto his fathers 1 brethren. 251

 27:11 And if x518 his father 1 haue no x369 brethren, 251 then ye shall giue 5414 z8804 x853 his inheritance 5159 vnto his kinseman 7607 that is next 7138 to x413 him of his family, 4940 x4480 and hee shall possesse 3423 z8804 it: And it shall be x1961 vnto the children 1121 of Israel 3478 a statute 2708 of iudgement, 4941 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses. 4872

 27:12 ¶ And the LORD 3068 saide 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 Get thee vp 5927 z8798 into x413 this x2088 mount 2022 Abarim, 5682 and see 7200 z8798 x853 the land 776 which x834 I haue giuen 5414 z8804 vnto the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 27:13 And when thou hast seene 7200 z8804 it, thou x859 also x1571 shalt be gathered 622 z8738 vnto x413 thy people, 5971 as x834 Aaron 175 thy brother 251 was gathered. 622 z8738

 27:14 For x834 ye rebelled y4784 z8804 against x4784 my Commandement 6310 (in the desart 4057 of Zin, 6790 in the strife 4808 of the Congregation) 5712 to sanctifie 6942 z8687 me at the water, 4325 before their eyes: 5869 that x1992 [is] the water 4325 of Meribah 4809 in Kadesh 6946 in the wildernesse 4057 of Zin. 6790

 27:15 ¶ And Moses 4872 spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 the LORD, 3068 saying, 559 z8800

 27:16 Let the LORD, 3068 the God 430 of the spirits 7307 of all x3605 flesh, 1320 set 6485 z8799 a man 376 ouer x5921 the Congregation, 5712

 27:17 Which x834 may goe out 3318 z8799 before 6440 them, and which x834 may goe in 935 z8799 before 6440 them, and which x834 may lead them out, 3318 z8686 and which x834 may bring them in, 935 z8686 that the Congregation 5712 of the LORD 3068 bee x1961 not x3808 as sheepe 6629 which x834 haue no x369 shepheard. 7462 z8802

 27:18 ¶ And the LORD 3068 saide 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 Take 3947 z8798 thee x853 Ioshua 3091 the sonne 1121 of Nun, 5126 a man 376 in whom x834 is the spirit, 7307 and lay 5564 z8804 x853 thine hand 3027 vpon x5921 him.

 27:19 And set 5975 z8689 him before 6440 Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 and before 6440 all x3605 the Congregation: 5712 and giue him a charge 6680 z8765 x853 in their sight. 5869

 27:20 And thou shalt put 5414 z8804 [some] of thine honour 1935 x4480 vpon x5921 him, that x4616 all x3605 the Congregation 5712 of the children 1121 of Israel 3478 may be obedient. 8085 z8799

 27:21 And he shall stand 5975 z8799 before 6440 Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 who shall aske 7592 z8804 counsell for him, after the iudgement 4941 of Urim 224 before 6440 the LORD: 3068 at x5921 his word 6310 shal they goe out, 3318 z8799 and at x5921 his word 6310 they shal come in, 935 z8799 both he, x1931 and al x3605 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 with x854 him, euen all x3605 the Congregation. 5712

 27:22 And Moses 4872 did 6213 z8799 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 him: and he tooke 3947 z8799 x853 Ioshua 3091 and set 5975 z8686 him before 6440 Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 and before 6440 all x3605 the Congregation. 5712

 27:23 And hee layd 5564 z8799 x853 his handes 3027 vpon x5921 him, and gaue him a charge, 6680 z8762 as x834 the LORD 3068 commaunded 1696 z8765 by the hand 3027 of Moses. 4872
