1 The Midianites are spoiled, and Balaam slain. 13 Moses is wroth with the officers for saving the women alive. 19 How the soldiers, with their captives and spoil, are to be purified. 25 The proportion whereby the prey is to be divided. 48 The voluntary oblation unto the treasury of the LORD.

 31:1 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 saying, 559 z8800

 31:2 Auenge 5358 5360 z8798 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 of x4480 x854 the Midianites: 4084 afterward 310 shalt thou be gathered 622 z8735 vnto x413 thy people. 5971

 31:3 And Moses 4872 spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 the people, 5971 saying, 559 z8800 Arme 2502 z8734 some y582 x376 of your selues x4480 x854 vnto the warre, 6635 and let them goe x1961 against x5921 the Midianites, 4080 and auenge 5414 5360 z8800 the LORD 3068 of Midian. 4080

 31:4 Of euery tribe 4294 a thousand, 505 4294 throughout all x3605 the tribes 4294 of Israel, 3478 shall ye send 7971 z8799 to the warre. 6635

 31:5 So there were deliuered 4560 z8735 out of the thousands 505 x4480 of Israel, 3478 a thousand 505 of [euery] tribe, 4294 twelue 8147 6240 thousand 505 armed 2502 z8803 for warre. 6635

 31:6 And Moses 4872 sent 7971 z8799 them to the warre, 6635 a thousand 505 of [euery] tribe, 4294 them and Phinehas 6372 the sonne 1121 of Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 to the warre, 6635 with the holy 6944 instruments, 3627 and the trumpets 2689 to blow, 8643 in his hand. 3027

 31:7 And they warred 6633 z8799 against x5921 the Midianites, 4080 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses, 4872 and they slew 2026 z8799 all x3605 the males. 2145

 31:8 And they slew 2026 z8804 the Kings 4428 of Midian, 4080 beside 5921 the rest of them that were slaine; 2491 [namely] x853 Eui, 189 and Rekem, 7552 and Zur, 6698 and Hur, 2354 and Reba, 7254 fiue 2568 Kings 4428 of Midian; 4080 Balaam 1109 also the sonne 1121 of Beor 1160 they slew 2026 z8804 with the sword. 2719

 31:9 And the children 1121 of Israel 3478 tooke all x853 the women 802 of Midian 4080 captiues, 7617 z8799 and their little ones, 2945 and tooke the spoile 962 z8804 of all x3605 their cattell, 929 and all x3605 their flocks, 4735 and all x3605 their goods. 2428

 31:10 And they burnt 8313 z8804 all x3605 their cities 5892 wherein they dwelt, 4186 and all x3605 their goodly castles 2918 with fire: 784

 31:11 And they tooke 3947 z8799 x853 all x3605 the spoile, 7998 and all x3605 the pray, 4455 both of men 120 and of beasts. 929

 31:16 Behold, x2005 these 2007 caused 1961 z8804 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 through the counsell 1697 of Balaam, 1109 to commit 4560 z8800 trespasse 4604 against the LORD 3068 in x5921 the matter 1697 of Peor, 6465 and there was x1961 a plague 4046 among the Congregation 5712 of the LORD. 3068

 31:17 Now x6258 therefore kill 2026 z8798 euery x3605 male 2145 among the little ones, 2945 and kill 2026 z8798 euery x3605 woman 802 that hath knowen 3045 z8802 man, 376 by lying 4904 with him. 2145

 31:18 But all x3605 the women 802 children 2945 that x834 haue not x3808 knowen 3045 z8804 a man 2145 by lying 4904 with him, keepe aliue 2421 z8685 for your selues.

 31:19 And doe yee x859 abide 2583 z8798 without 2351 x4480 the campe 4264 seuen 7651 dayes: 3117 whosoeuer x3605 hath killed 2026 z8802 any person, 5315 and whosoeuer x3605 hath touched 5060 z8802 any slaine, 2491 purifie 2398 z8691 both your selues, x859 and your captiues, 7628 on the third 7992 day, 3117 and on the seuenth 7637 day. 3117

 31:20 And purifie 2398 z8691 all x3605 [your] raiment, 899 and all x3605 that is made 3627 of skinnes, 5785 and all x3605 worke 4639 of goates 5795 [haire], and all x3605 things x3627 made y3627 of wood. 6086

 31:21 ¶ And Eleazar 499 the Priest 3548 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 the men y582 x376 of warre 6635 which went 935 z8802 to the battell, 4421 This x2063 [is] the ordinance 2708 of the law 8451 which x834 the LORD 3068 commaunded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses. 4872

 31:22 Onely x389 x853 the gold, 2091 and the siluer, 3701 x853 the brasse, 5178 x853 the yron, 1270 x853 the tinne, 913 and the lead, 5777

 31:23 Euery x3605 thing 1697 that x834 may abide 935 z8799 the fire, 784 yee shall make it goe x5674 through y5674 z8686 the fire, 784 and [it] shall be cleane: 2891 z8804 neuerthelesse, x389 it shall be purified 2398 z8691 with the water 4325 of separation: 5079 and all x3605 that x834 abideth 935 z8799 not x3808 the fire, 784 yee shall make goe x5674 through y5674 z8686 the water. 4325

 31:24 And ye shall wash 3526 z8765 your clothes 899 on the seuenth 7637 day, 3117 and ye shalbe cleane, 2891 z8804 and afterward 310 yee shall come 935 z8799 into x413 the campe. 4264

 31:25 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 saying, 559 z8800

 31:26 Take 5375 z8798 x853 the summe 7218 of the pray, 4455 that was taken, 7628 both of man 120 and of beast, 929 thou x859 and Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 and the chiefe 7218 fathers 1 of the Congregation: 5712

 31:27 And diuide 2673 z0 x853 the pray 4455 into two parts, y2673 z8804 betweene x996 them that tooke 8610 z8802 the warre 4421 vpon them, who went out 3318 z8802 to battell, 6635 and betweene x996 all x3605 the Congregation. 5712

 31:28 And leuie 7311 z8689 a tribute 4371 vnto the LORD 3068 of x4480 x854 the men y582 x376 of warre 4421 which went out 3318 z8802 to battell: 6635 one 259 soule 5315 of fiue 2568 x4480 hundred, 3967 both of x4480 the persons, 120 and of x4480 the beeues, 1241 and of x4480 the asses, 2543 and of x4480 the sheepe. 6629

 31:29 Take 3947 z8799 [it] of their halfe, 4276 x4480 and giue 5414 z8804 it vnto Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 for an heaue offering 8641 of the LORD. 3068

 31:30 And of the children 1121 of Israels 3478 halfe, 4276 x4480 thou shalt take 3947 z8799 one 259 portion 270 z8803 of x4480 fiftie, 2572 of x4480 the persons, 120 of x4480 the beeues, 1241 of x4480 the asses, 2543 and of x4480 the flockes, 6629 of all maner x4480 x3605 of beasts, 929 and giue 5414 z8804 them vnto the Leuites, 3881 which keepe 8104 z8802 the charge 4931 of the Tabernacle 4908 of the LORD. 3068

 31:31 And Moses 4872 and Eleazar 499 the Priest 3548 did 6213 z8799 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses. 4872

 31:32 And the bootie 4455 [being] the rest 3499 of the pray 957 which x834 the men x5971 of y5971 war 6635 had caught, 962 z8804 was x1961 six 8337 hundred 3967 thousand, 505 and seuenty 7657 thousand, 505 and fiue 2568 thousand 505 sheepe, 6629

 31:33 And threescore and twelue 7657 8147 thousand 505 beeues, 1241

 31:34 And threescore 8346 and one 259 thousand 505 asses: 2543

 31:35 And thirtie 7970 and two 8147 thousand 505 persons 5315 120 in all, 3605 x5315 of x4480 women 802 that x834 had not x3808 knowen 3045 z8804 man y2145 by lying y4904 with x4904 him. x2145

 31:36 And the halfe 4275 [which was] the portion 2506 of them that went out 3318 z8802 to warre, 6635 was x1961 in number 4557 three 7969 hundred 3967 thousand, 505 and seuen 7651 and thirtie 7970 thousand, 505 and fiue 2568 hundred 3967 sheepe. 6629

 31:37 And the LORDS 3068 tribute 4371 of x4480 the sheepe 6629 was x1961 sixe 8337 hundred 3967 and threescore and fifteene. 7657 2568

 31:38 And the beeues 1241 [were] thirtie 7970 and sixe 8337 thousand, 505 of which the LORDS 3068 tribute 4371 [was] threescore and twelue. 7657 8147

 31:39 And the asses 2543 [were] thirtie 7970 thousand 505 and fiue 2568 hundred, 3967 of which the LORDS 3068 tribute 4371 [was] threescore 8346 and one. 259

 31:40 And the persons 120 5315 [were] sixteene 8337 6240 thousand, 505 of which the LORDS 3068 tribute 4371 [was] thirtie 7970 and two 8147 persons. 5315

 31:41 And Moses 4872 gaue 5414 z8799 x853 the tribute 4371 [which was] the LORDS 3068 heaue offering, 8641 vnto Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses. 4872

 31:42 And of the children 1121 of Israels 3478 halfe, 4276 x4480 which x834 Moses 4872 diuided 2673 z8804 from x4480 the men y582 x376 that warred: 6633 z8802

 31:43 (Now the halfe 4275 that perteined vnto the Congregation, 5712 [was] x1961 three 7969 hundred 3967 thousand, 505 and thirtie 7970 thousand, 505 [and] seuen 7651 thousand, 505 and fiue 2568 hundred 3967 sheepe: 6629 y4480

 31:44 And thirtie 7970 and sixe 8337 thousand 505 beeues: 1241

 31:45 And thirtie 7970 thousand 505 asses, 2543 and fiue 2568 hundred: 3967

 31:46 And sixteene 8337 6240 thousand 505 persons) 5315 120

 31:47 Euen of the children 1121 of Israels 3478 halfe, 4276 x4480 Moses 4872 tooke 3947 z8799 one 259 x853 portion 270 z8803 of x4480 fiftie, 2572 both of x4480 man 120 and of x4480 beast, 929 and gaue 5414 z8799 them vnto the Leuites, 3881 which kept 8104 z8802 the charge 4931 of the Tabernacle 4908 of the LORD, 3068 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses. 4872

 31:48 ¶ And the officers 6485 z8803 which x834 were ouer thousands 505 of the hoste, 6635 the captaines 8269 of thousands, 505 and captaines 8269 of hundreds 3967 came neere 7126 z8799 vnto x413 Moses. 4872

 31:49 And they said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 Thy seruants 5650 haue taken 5375 z8804 x853 the summe 7218 of the men y582 x376 of warre 4421 which x834 are vnder our charge, 3027 and there lacketh 6485 z8738 not x3808 one man 376 of x4480 vs.

 31:50 Wee haue therefore brought 7126 z8686 x853 an oblation 7133 for the LORD, 3068 what x834 euerie man 376 hath gotten, 4672 z8804 of iewels 3627 of golde 2091 chaines, 685 and bracelets, 6781 rings, 2885 earerings, 5694 and tablets, 3558 to make an atonement 3722 z8763 for x5921 our soules 5315 before 6440 the LORD. 3068

 31:51 And Moses 4872 and Eleazar 499 the Priest 3548 tooke 3947 z8799 x853 the gold 2091 of x4480 x854 them: [euen] all x3605 wrought 4639 iewels. 3627

 31:52 And all x3605 the gold 2091 of the offring 8641 that x834 they offered vp 7311 z8689 to the LORD, 3068 of x4480 x854 the captaines 8269 of thousands, 505 and of x4480 x854 the captaines 8269 of hundreds, 3967 was x1961 sixteene 8337 6240 thousand, 505 seuen 7651 hundred 3967 and fiftie 2572 shekels. 8255

 31:53 ([For] the men y582 x376 of warre 6635 had taken spoile, 962 z8804 euery man 376 for himselfe.)

 31:54 And Moses 4872 and Eleazar 499 the Priest 3548 tooke 3947 z8799 x853 the gold 2091 of x4480 x854 the captaines, 8269 of thousands, 505 and of hundreds, 3967 and brought 935 z8686 it into x413 the Tabernacle 168 of the Congregation, 4150 for a memoriall 2146 for the children 1121 of Israel 3478 before 6440 the LORD. 3068
