2 Kings 21

1 Manasseh's reign. 3 His great idolatry. 10 His wickedness causeth prophecies against Judah. 17 Amon succeedeth him. 19 Amon's wicked reign. 23 He being slain by his servants, and those murderers being slain by the people, Josiah is made king.

 21:1 ¶ Manasseh 4519 [was] twelue 8147 6240 yeres 8141 olde 1121 when hee beganne to reigne, 4427 z8800 and reigned 4427 z8804 fiftie 2572 and fiue 2568 yeeres 8141 in Ierusalem: 3389 and his mothers 517 name 8034 [was] Hephzibah. 2657

 21:2 And hee did 6213 z8799 that [which was] euill 7451 in the sight 5869 of the LORD, 3068 after the abominations 8441 of the heathen, 1471 whom x834 the LORD 3068 cast out 3423 z8689 before 6440 x4480 the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 21:3 For he built vp 1129 z8799 againe 7725 z8799 x853 the high places, 1116 which x834 Hezekiah 2396 his father 1 had destroyed, 6 z8765 and hee reared vp 6965 z8686 altars 4196 for Baal, 1168 and made 6213 z8799 a groue, 842 as x834 did 6213 z8804 Ahab 256 king 4428 of Israel, 3478 and worshipped 7812 z8691 all x3605 the hoste 6635 of heauen, 8064 and serued 5647 z8799 them.

 21:4 And he built 1129 z8804 altars 4196 in the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 of which x834 the LORD 3068 sayd, 559 z8804 In Ierusalem 3389 will I put 7760 z8799 x853 my Name. 8034

 21:5 And he built 1129 z8799 altars 4196 for all x3605 the host 6635 of heauen, 8064 in the two 8147 courts 2691 of the house 1004 of the LORD. 3068

 21:6 And he made x853 his sonne 1121 passe y5674 z8689 thorow x5674 the fire, 784 and obserued times, 6049 z8782 and vsed enchantments, 5172 z8765 and dealt 6213 z8804 with familiar spirits, 178 and wizards: 3049 he wrought 6213 z8800 much 7235 z8689 wickednesse 7451 in the sight 5869 of the LORD, 3068 to prouoke [him] to anger. 3707 z8687

 21:7 And he set 7760 z8799 x853 a grauen image 6459 of the groue 842 that x834 he had made, 6213 z8804 in the house, 1004 of which x834 the LORD 3068 said 559 z8804 to x413 Dauid, 1732 and to x413 Solomon 8010 his sonne, 1121 In this x2088 house 1004 and in Ierusalem, 3389 which x834 I haue chosen 977 z8804 out of all x4480 x3605 tribes 7626 of Israel, 3478 wil I put 7760 z8799 x853 my Name 8034 for euer: 5769

 21:8 Neither x3808 will I make the feete 7272 of Israel 3478 mooue 5110 z8687 any more 3254 z8686 out of x4480 the land, 127 which x834 I gaue 5414 z8804 their fathers: 1 onely x7535 if x518 they will obserue 8104 z8799 to doe 6213 z8800 according to all x3605 that x834 I haue commanded 6680 z8765 them, and according to all x3605 the Law, 8451 that x834 my seruant 5650 Moses 4872 commanded 6680 z8765 them.

 21:9 But they hearkened 8085 z8804 not: x3808 and Manasseh 4519 seduced 8582 z8686 them to doe 6213 z8800 x853 more euill 7451 then x4480 did the nations, 1471 whome x834 the LORD 3068 destroyed 8045 z8689 before 6440 x4480 the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 21:10 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 1696 z8762 by 3027 his seruants 5650 the Prophets, 5030 saying, 559 z8800

 21:11 Because x3282 x834 Manasseh 4519 king 4428 of Iudah 3063 hath done 6213 z8804 these x428 abominations, 8441 [and] hath done wickedly 7489 z8689 aboue all x4480 x3605 that x834 the Amorites 567 did, 6213 z8804 which x834 [were] before 6440 him, and hath made x853 Iudah 3063 also x1571 to sinne 2398 z8686 with his idoles: 1544

 21:12 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel, 3478 Behold, x2009 I am bringing 935 z8688 [such] euill 7451 vpon x5921 Ierusalem 3389 and Iudah, 3063 that x834 whosoeuer x3605 heareth 8085 z8802 of it, both 8147 his eares 241 shall tingle. 6750 z8799

 21:13 And I will stretch 5186 z8804 ouer x5921 Ierusalem 3389 x853 the line 6957 of Samaria, 8111 and the plummet 4949 of the house 1004 of Ahab: 256 and I will wipe 4229 z8804 x853 Ierusalem 3389 as x834 a man wipeth 4229 z8799 x853 a dish, 6747 wiping 4229 z8804 it and turning 2015 z8804 [it] vpside downe. 6440 x5921

 21:14 And I will forsake 5203 z8804 x853 the remnant 7611 of mine inheritance, 5159 and deliuer 5414 z8804 them into the hand 3027 of their enemies, 341 z8802 and they shall become x1961 a pray 957 and a spoile 4933 to all x3605 their enemies, 341 z8802

 21:15 Because x3282 x834 they haue done 6213 z8804 that [which was] x853 euill 7451 in my sight, 5869 and haue x1961 prouoked y4480 me to anger 3707 z8688 x853 since x4480 the day 3117 their fathers 1 came forth 3318 z8804 out of Egypt, 4714 x4480 euen vnto x5704 this x2088 day. 3117

 21:16 Moreouer, x1571 Manasseh 4519 shed 8210 z8804 innocent 5355 blood 1818 very 3966 much, 7235 z8687 till x5704 x834 he had filled 4390 z8765 x853 Ierusalem 3389 from one end 6310 to another, 6310 beside his sinne 2403 x905 x4480 wherwith x834 he made Iudah y3063 to sinne, 2398 z8689 x853 x3063 in doing 6213 z8800 that [which was] euill 7451 in the sight 5869 of the LORD. 3068

 21:17 ¶ Now the rest 3499 of the actes 1697 of Manasseh, 4519 and all x3605 that x834 he did, 6213 z8804 and his sinne 2403 that x834 he sinned, 2398 z8804 are they x1992 not x3808 written 3789 z8803 in x5921 the booke 5612 of the Chronicles 1697 3117 of the kings 4428 of Iudah? 3063

 21:18 And Manasseh 4519 slept 7901 z8799 with x5973 his fathers, 1 and was buried 6912 z8735 in the garden 1588 of his owne house, 1004 in the garden 1588 of Uzza: 5798 and Amon 526 his sonne 1121 reigned 4427 z8799 in his stead. x8478

 21:19 ¶ Amon 526 was twentie 6242 and two 8147 yeres 8141 old 1121 when he began to reigne, 4427 z8800 and he reigned 4427 z8804 two 8147 yeeres 8141 in Ierusalem: 3389 and his mothers 517 name 8034 [was] Meshullemeth, 4922 the daughter 1323 of Haruz 2743 of x4480 Iotbah. 3192

 21:20 And he did 6213 z8799 that [which was] euill 7451 in the sight 5869 of the LORD, 3068 as x834 his father 1 Manasseh 4519 did. 6213 z8804

 21:21 And he walked y3212 z8799 x1980 in all x3605 the wayes 1870 that x834 his father 1 walked in, 1980 z8804 and serued 5647 z8799 x853 the idoles 1544 that x834 his father 1 serued, 5647 z8804 and worshipped 7812 z8691 them:

 21:22 And he forsooke 5800 z8799 x853 the LORD 3068 God 430 of his fathers, 1 and walked 1980 z8804 not x3808 in the way 1870 of the LORD. 3068

 21:23 ¶ And the seruants 5650 of Amon 526 conspired 7194 z8799 against x5921 him, and slew 4191 z8686 x853 the king 4428 in his owne house. 1004

 21:24 And the people 5971 of the land 776 slew 5221 z8686 x853 al x3605 them that had conspired 7194 z8802 against x5921 king 4428 Amon, 526 and the people 5971 of the land 776 made x853 Iosiah 2977 his sonne 1121 king 4427 z8686 in his stead. x8478

 21:25 Now the rest 3499 of the acts 1697 of Amon, 526 which x834 he did, 6213 z8804 are they x1992 not x3808 written 3789 z8803 in x5921 the booke 5612 of the chronicles 1697 3117 of the kings 4428 of Iudah? 3063

 21:26 And he was buried 6912 z8799 in his sepulchre, 6900 in the garden 1588 of Uzza, 5798 and Iosiah 2977 his sonne 1121 reigned 4427 z8799 in his stead. x8478
