2 Samuel 6

1 David fetcheth the Ark from Kirjath-jearim on a new cart. 6 Uzzah is smitten at Perez-uzzah. 11 God blesseth Obed-edom for the Ark. 12 David bringeth the Ark into Zion with sacrifices, danceth before it, for which Michal despiseth him. 17 He placeth it in a tabernacle with great joy and feasting. 20 Michal reproving David for his religious joy is childless to her death.

 6:1 ¶ Againe, x5750 Dauid 1732 gathered together 622 z8799 z8676 y3254 z8686 x853 all x3605 the chosen 977 z8803 men of Israel, 3478 thirtie 7970 thousand: 505

 6:2 And Dauid 1732 arose 6965 z8799 and went y3212 z8799 x1980 with all x3605 the people 5971 that x834 [were] with x854 him, from Baale x4480 x1184 of Iudah, y1184 x3063 to bring vp 5927 z8687 from thence x4480 x8033 x853 the Arke 727 of God, 430 whose x834 Name 8034 is called 7121 z8738 by the Name 8034 of the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 that dwelleth 3427 z8802 x5921 [betweene] the Cherubims. 3742

 6:3 And they set 7392 z8686 x853 the Arke 727 of God 430 vpon x413 a new 2319 cart, 5699 and brought 5375 z8799 it out of the house 1004 x4480 of Abinadab 41 that x834 [was] in Gibeah: 1390 and Uzzah 5798 and Ahio 283 the sonnes 1121 of Abinadab, 41 draue 5090 z8802 x853 the new 2319 cart. 5699

 6:4 And they brought 5375 z8799 it out of the house 1004 x4480 of Abinadab 41 which x834 [was] at Gibeah, 1390 accompanying 5973 the Arke 727 of God; 430 and Ahio 283 went 1980 z8802 before 6440 the Arke. 727

 6:5 And Dauid 1732 and all x3605 the house 1004 of Israel 3478 played 7832 z8764 before 6440 the LORD 3068 on all x3605 manner of [instruments] made of Firrewood, 1265 6086 euen on harpes, 3658 and on Psalteries, 5035 and on timbrels, 8596 and on cornets, 4517 and on cimbals. 6767

 6:6 ¶ And when they came 935 z8799 to x5704 Nachons 5225 threshing floore, 1637 Uzzah 5798 put forth 7971 z8799 his [hand] to x413 the Arke 727 of God, 430 and tooke hold 270 z8799 of it, for x3588 the oxen 1241 shooke 8058 z8804 [it].

 6:7 And the anger 639 of the LORD 3068 was kindled 2734 z8799 against Uzzah, 5798 and God 430 smote 5221 z8686 him there x8033 for x5921 [his] errour, 7944 and there x8033 he died 4191 z8799 by x5973 the Arke 727 of God. 430

 6:8 And Dauid 1732 was displeased, 2734 z8799 because x5921 x834 the LORD 3068 had made 6555 z8804 a breach 6556 vpon Uzzah: 5798 And hee called y7121 z8799 the name x7121 of the x1931 place, 4725 Perez-Uzzah 6560 to x5704 this x2088 day. 3117

 6:9 And Dauid 1732 was afraide 3372 z8799 of x853 the LORD 3068 that x1931 day, 3117 and said, 559 z8799 How x349 shall the Arke 727 of the LORD 3068 come 935 z8799 to x413 me?

 6:10 So Dauid 1732 would 14 z8804 not x3808 remoue 5493 z8687 x853 the Arke 727 of the LORD 3068 vnto x413 him into x5921 the citie 5892 of Dauid: 1732 but Dauid 1732 caried it aside 5186 z8686 into the house 1004 of Obed Edom, 5654 the Gittite. 1663

 6:11 And the Arke 727 of the LORD 3068 continued 3427 z8799 in the house 1004 of Obed Edom 5654 the Gittite, 1663 three 7969 moneths: 2320 and the LORD 3068 blessed 1288 z8762 x853 Obed Edom, 5654 and all x3605 his household. 1004

 6:12 ¶ And it was told 5046 z8714 king 4428 Dauid, 1732 saying, 559 z8800 The LORD 3068 hath blessed 1288 z8765 x853 the house 1004 of Obed Edom, 5654 and all x3605 that x834 [pertained] vnto him, because x5668 of the Arke 727 of God. 430 So Dauid 1732 went, y3212 z8799 x1980 and brought vp 5927 z8686 x853 the Arke 727 of God, 430 from the house 1004 x4480 of Obed Edom, 5654 into the citie 5892 of Dauid, 1732 with gladnesse. 8057

 6:13 And it was x1961 so, that when x3588 they that bare 5375 z8802 the Arke 727 of the LORD, 3068 had gone 6805 z8804 sixe 8337 paces, 6806 hee sacrificed 2076 z8799 oxen 7794 and fatlings. 4806

 6:14 And Dauid 1732 daunced 3769 z8772 before 6440 the LORD 3068 with all x3605 [his] might, 5797 and Dauid 1732 was girded 2296 z8803 with a linnen 906 Ephod. 646

 6:15 So Dauid 1732 and all x3605 the house 1004 of Israel 3478 brought vp 5927 z8688 x853 the Arke 727 of the LORD 3068 with shouting, 8643 and with the sound 6963 of the trumpet. 7782

 6:16 And as x1961 the Arke 727 of the LORD 3068 came 935 z8802 into the citie 5892 of Dauid, 1732 Michal 4324 Sauls 7586 daughter 1323 looked 8259 z8738 through x1157 a window, 2474 and saw 7200 z8799 x853 king 4428 Dauid 1732 leaping 6339 z8764 and dauncing 3769 z8772 before 6440 the LORD, 3068 and she despised 959 z8799 him in her heart. 3820

 6:17 ¶ And they brought y935 z8686 in x935 x853 the Arke 727 of the LORD, 3068 and set 3322 z8686 it in his place, 4725 in the midst 8432 of the Tabernacle 168 that x834 Dauid 1732 had pitched 5186 z8804 for it: and Dauid 1732 offered 5927 z8686 burnt offerings, 5930 and peace offrings 8002 before 6440 the LORD. 3068

 6:18 And assoone as Dauid 1732 had made an end 3615 z8762 of offering 5927 z8687 x4480 burnt offerings 5930 and peace offerings, 8002 hee blessed 1288 z8762 x853 the people 5971 in the Name 8034 of the LORD 3068 of hostes. 6635

 6:19 And hee dealt 2505 z8762 among all x3605 the people, 5971 euen among the whole x3605 multitude 1995 of Israel, 3478 as well to x5704 the women 802 as men, 376 x4480 to euery one 376 a 259 cake 2471 of bread, 3899 and a x259 good piece 829 [of flesh], and a x259 flagon 809 [of wine]: so all x3605 the people 5971 departed y3212 z8799 x1980 euery one 376 to his house. 1004

 6:20 ¶ Then Dauid 1732 returned 7725 z8799 to blesse 1288 z8763 x853 his houshold: 1004 and Michal 4324 the daughter 1323 of Saul 7586 came out 3318 z8799 to meete 7125 z8800 Dauid, 1732 and said, 559 z8799 How x4100 glorious 3513 z8738 was the King 4428 of Israel 3478 to day, 3117 who x834 vncouered y1540 z8738 himselfe x1540 to day 3117 in the eyes 5869 of the handmaids 519 of his seruants, 5650 as one 259 of the vaine fellowes 7386 shamelessely y1540 z8736 vncouereth y1540 z8736 himselfe! 1540

 6:21 And Dauid 1732 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Michal, 4324 [It was] before 6440 the LORD, 3068 which x834 chose 977 z8804 me before thy father, 1 x4480 & before all x4480 x3605 his house, 1004 to appoint 6680 z8763 me ruler 5057 ouer x5921 the people 5971 of the LORD, 3068 ouer x5921 Israel: 3478 therefore will I play 7832 z8765 before 6440 the LORD. 3068

 6:22 And I will yet x5750 be more vile 7043 z8738 then thus, 2063 x4480 and will be x1961 base 8217 in mine owne sight: 5869 and of x5973 the maid seruants 519 which x834 thou hast spoken 559 z8804 of, of them shall I be had in honour. 3513 z8735

 6:23 Therefore Michal 4324 the daughter 1323 of Saul 7586 had x1961 no x3808 childe 3206 y2056 z8675 vnto x5704 the day 3117 of her death. 4194
