1 Eight of the forty cities given by lot, out of the other tribes, unto the Levites. 43 God gave the land, and rest unto the Israelites, according to his promise.

 21:1 ¶ Then came neere 5066 z8799 the heads 7218 of the fathers 1 of the Leuites 3881 vnto x413 Eleazar 499 the Priest, 3548 and vnto x413 Ioshua 3091 the sonne 1121 of Nun, 5126 and vnto x413 the heads 7218 of the fathers 1 of the tribes 4294 of the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 21:2 And they spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 them at Shiloh 7887 in the land 776 of Canaan, 3667 saying, 559 z8800 The LORD 3068 commaunded 6680 z8765 by the hand 3027 of Moses, 4872 to giue 5414 z8800 vs Cities 5892 to dwell x3427 in, y3427 z8800 with the suburbs 4054 thereof for our cattell. 929

 21:4 And the lot 1486 came out 3318 z8799 for the families 4940 of the Kohathites: 6956 and the children 1121 of Aaron 175 the Priest, 3548 [which were] of x4480 the Leuites, 3881 had x1961 by lot 1486 out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Iudah, 3063 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Simeon, 8099 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Beniamin, 1144 thirteene 7969 6240 cities. 5892

 21:5 And the rest 3498 z8737 of the children 1121 of Kohath 6955 [had] by lot, 1486 out of the families 4940 x4480 of the tribe 4294 of Ephraim, 669 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Dan, 1835 and out of the halfe 2677 x4480 tribe 4294 of Manasseh, 4519 ten 6235 cities. 5892

 21:6 And the children 1121 of Gershon 1648 [had] by lot 1486 out of the families 4940 x4480 of the tribe 4294 of Issachar, 3485 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Asher, 836 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Naphtali, 5321 and out of the halfe 2677 x4480 tribe 4294 of Manasseh 4519 in Bashan, 1316 thirteene 7969 6240 cities. 5892

 21:7 The children 1121 of Merari 4847 by their families, 4940 [had] out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Reuben, 7205 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Gad, 1410 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Zebulun, 2074 twelue 8147 6240 cities. 5892

 21:8 And the children 1121 of Israel 3478 gaue 5414 z8799 by lot 1486 vnto the Leuites 3881 x853 these x428 cities 5892 with x854 their suburbs, 4054 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 by the hand 3027 of Moses. 4872

 21:9 ¶ And they gaue 5414 z8799 out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of the children 1121 of Iudah, 3063 and out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of the children 1121 of Simeon, 8095 x853 these x428 cities 5892 which x834 are [here] mentioned 7121 z8799 by name, 8034

 21:10 Which the children 1121 of Aaron 175 being of the families 4940 x4480 of the Kohathites, 6956 who were of the children 1121 x4480 of Leui, 3878 had: x1961 (for x3588 theirs was x1961 the first 7223 z8675 lot.) 1486

 21:11 And they gaue 5414 z8799 them x853 the citie 7151 of Arbah 704 z8677 y7153 the father 1 of Anak 6061 ([which x1931 citie] is Hebron) 2275 in the hill 2022 countrey of Iudah, 3063 with x854 ye suburbs 4054 thereof round about 5439 it.

 21:12 But the fields 7704 of the citie, 5892 and the villages 2691 thereof, gaue 5414 z8804 they to Caleb 3612 the sonne 1121 of Iephunneh, 3312 for his possession. 272

 21:13 ¶ Thus they gaue 5414 z8804 to the children 1121 of Aaron 175 the Priest 3548 x853 Hebron 2275 with x854 her suburbs 4054 [to bee] x853 a citie 5892 of refuge 4733 for the slayer, 7523 z8802 and Libnah 3841 with x854 her suburbs, 4054

 21:18 x853 Anathoth 6068 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 and Almon 5960 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 foure 702 cities. 5892

 21:19 All x3605 the cities 5892 of the children 1121 of Aaron 175 the Priests, 3548 were thirteene 7969 6240 cities 5892 with their suburbs. 4054

 21:20 ¶ And the families 4940 of the children 1121 of Kohath 6955 the Leuites, 3881 which remained 3498 z8737 of the children 1121 x4480 of Kohath, 6955 euen they had x1961 the cities 5892 of their lot 1486 out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Ephraim. 669

 21:21 For they gaue 5414 z8799 them x853 Shechem 7927 with x854 her suburbs 4054 in mount 2022 Ephraim, 669 [to be] x853 a citie 5892 of refuge 4733 for the slayer: 7523 z8802 and Gezer 1507 with x854 her suburbs, 4054

 21:22 And Kibzaim 6911 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 and Beth-horon 1032 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 foure 702 cities. 5892

 21:23 And out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Dan, 1835 x853 Eltekeh 514 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 x853 Gibethon 1405 with x854 her suburbs, 4054

 21:24 x853 Aijalon 357 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 x853 Gathrimmon, 1667 with x854 her suburbs: 4054 foure 702 cities. 5892

 21:25 And out of the halfe 4276 x4480 tribe 4294 of Manasseh, 4519 x853 Tanach 8590 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 and Gathrimmon 1667 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 two 8147 cities. 5892

 21:26 All x3605 the cities 5892 were ten 6235 with their suburbs, 4054 for the families 4940 of the children 1121 of Kohath 6955 that remained. 3498 z8737

 21:27 ¶ And vnto the children 1121 of Gershon 1648 of the families 4940 x4480 of the Leuites, 3881 out of the [other] halfe 2677 x4480 tribe 4294 of Manasseh, 4519 [they gaue] x853 Golan 1474 in Bashan, 1316 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 [to be] x853 a citie 5892 of refuge 4733 for the slayer: 7523 z8802 and Beeshterah 1203 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 two 8147 cities. 5892

 21:28 And out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Issachar, 3485 x853 Kishon 7191 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 x853 Dabareh 1705 with x854 her suburbs, 4054

 21:29 Iarmuth 3412 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 Engannim 5873 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 foure 702 cities. 5892

 21:30 And out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Asher 836 x853 Mishal 4861 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 x853 Abdon 5658 with x854 her suburbs, 4054

 21:31 x853 Helkah 2520 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 and Rehob 7340 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 foure 702 cities. 5892

 21:32 And out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Naphtali, 5321 x853 Kedesh 6943 in Galilee 1551 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 [to be] x853 a citie 5892 of refuge 4733 for the slayer, 7523 z8802 and Hammoth-dor 2576 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 and Kartan 7178 with her suburbs, 4054 three 7969 cities. 5892

 21:33 All x3605 the cities 5892 of the Gershonites 1649 according to their families 4940 [were] thirteen 7969 6240 cities 5892 with their suburbs. 4054

 21:34 ¶ And vnto the families 4940 of the children 1121 of Merari 4847 the rest 3498 z8737 of the Leuites, 3881 out of x4480 x854 the tribe 4294 of Zebulun, 2074 x853 Iokneam, 3362 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 and x853 Kartah 7177 with x854 her suburbs, 4054

 21:37 x853 Kedemoth 6932 with x854 her suburbs, x4054 and Mephaath 4158 with x854 her suburbs, x4054 foure 702 cities. 5892

 21:38 And out of the tribe 4294 x4480 of Gad, 1410 x853 Ramoth y7433 x7216 in Gilead 1568 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 [to be] x853 a city 5892 of refuge 4733 for the slayer; 7523 z8802 and Mahanaim 4266 with x854 her suburbs, 4054

 21:39 x853 Heshbon 2809 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 x853 Iazer 3270 with x854 her suburbs, 4054 foure 702 cities 5892 in all. x3605

 21:40 So all x3605 the cities 5892 for the children 1121 of Merari 4847 by their families, 4940 which were remayning 3498 z8737 of the families 4940 x4480 of the Leuites, 3881 [were x1961 by] their lot, 1486 twelue 8147 6240 cities. 5892

 21:41 All x3605 the cities 5892 of the Leuites 3881 within 8432 the possession 272 of the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 were fourty 705 and eight 8083 cities, 5892 with their suburbs. 4054

 21:42 These x428 cities 5892 were x1961 euery one 5892 with their suburbs 4054 round about 5439 them: thus x3651 were all x3605 these x428 cities. 5892

 21:43 ¶ And the LORD 3068 gaue 5414 z8799 vnto Israel 3478 x853 all x3605 the land 776 which x834 hee sware 7650 z8738 to giue 5414 z8800 vnto their fathers: 1 and they possessed 3423 z8799 it, and dwelt 3427 z8799 therein.

 21:44 And the LORD 3068 gaue them rest 5117 z8799 round about, 5439 x4480 according to all x3605 that x834 he sware 7650 z8738 vnto their fathers, 1 and there stood 5975 z8804 not x3808 a man 376 of all x4480 x3605 their enemies 341 z8802 before 6440 them: the LORD 3068 deliuered 5414 z8804 x853 all x3605 their enemies 341 z8802 into their hand. 3027
