Hosea 6

1 An exhortation to repentance. 4 A complaint of their untowardness and iniquity.

 6:1 ¶ Come, y3212 z8798 x1980 and let vs returne 7725 z8799 vnto x413 the LORD: 3068 for x3588 hee x1931 hath torne, 2963 z8804 and hee will heale 7495 z8799 vs: he hath smitten, 5221 z8686 and he will binde vs vp. 2280 z8799

 6:2 After two daies 3117 x4480 will he reuiue 2421 z8762 vs, in the third 7992 day 3117 he will raise vs vp, 6965 z8686 and we shall liue 2421 z8799 in his sight. 6440

 6:3 Then shal we know, 3045 z8799 if we follow y7291 z8799 on x7291 to know 3045 z8800 x853 the LORD: 3068 his going forth 4161 is prepared, 3559 z8737 as the morning; 7837 & he shall come 935 z8799 vnto vs, as the raine; 1653 as the latter 4456 and former raine y3384 z8802 x3138 vnto the earth. 776

 6:4 ¶ O Ephraim, 669 what x4100 shall I doe 6213 z8799 vnto thee? O Iudah, 3063 what x4100 shall I do 6213 z8799 vnto thee? For your goodnesse 2617 [is] as a morning 1242 cloud, 6051 and as the early 7925 z8688 dew 2919 it goeth away. 1980 z8802

 6:5 Therefore x5921 x3651 haue I shewed 2672 z8804 [them] by the Prophets: 5030 I haue slaine 2026 z8804 them by the wordes 561 of my mouth, 6310 and thy iudgements 4941 [are as] the light 216 [that] goeth foorth. 3318 z8799

 6:6 For x3588 I desired 2654 z8804 mercie, 2617 and not x3808 sacrifice; 2077 and the knowledge 1847 of God 430 more then burnt offerings. 5930 x4480

 6:7 But they x1992 like men 120 haue transgressed 5674 z8804 the Couenant: 1285 there x8033 haue they dealt treacherously 898 z8804 against me.

 6:8 Gilead 1568 [is] a city 7151 of them that worke 6466 z8802 iniquitie; 205 [and is] polluted 6121 with blood. 1818 x4480

 6:9 And as troupes y1416 of robbers x1416 waite 2442 z8763 for a man, 376 [so] the company 2267 of priestes 3548 murther 7523 z8762 in the way 1870 by consent: 7926 z8677 y7927 for x3588 they commit 6213 z8804 lewdnesse. 2154

 6:10 I haue seene 7200 z8804 an horrible thing 8186 in the house 1004 of Israel: 3478 there x8033 [is] the whoredome 2184 of Ephraim, 669 Israel 3478 is defiled. 2930 z8738

 6:11 Also x1571 O Iudah, 3063 hee hath set 7896 z8804 an haruest 7105 for thee, when I returned 7725 z8800 the captiuitie 7622 of my people. 5971
