Zechariah 1

1 Zechariah exhorteth to repentance. 7 The vision of the horses. 12 At the prayer of the angel, comfortable promises are made to Jerusalem. 18 The vision of the four horns, and the four carpenters.

 1:1 ¶ In the eight 8066 moneth, 2320 in the seconde 8147 yeere 8141 of Darius, 1867 came x1961 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 vnto x413 Zechariah, 2148 the sonne 1121 of Barachiah, 1296 the sonne 1121 of Iddo 5714 the Prophet, 5030 saying, 559 z8800

 1:2 The LORD 3068 hath bene sore y7110 displeased 7107 z8804 x7110 with x5921 your fathers. 1

 1:3 Therefore say 559 z8804 thou vnto x413 them, Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes; 6635 Turne 7725 z8798 ye vnto x413 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 and I will turne 7725 z8799 vnto x413 you, saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes. 6635

 1:4 Be x1961 ye not x408 as your fathers, 1 vnto x413 whom x834 the former 7223 Prophets 5030 haue cried, 7121 z8804 saying, 559 z8800 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 Turne 7725 z8798 ye now x4994 from your euill 7451 wayes, 1870 x4480 and from your euil 7451 doings: 4611 but they did not x3808 heare, 8085 z8804 nor x3808 hearken 7181 z8689 vnto x413 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 1:5 Your fathers, 1 where x346 [are] they? x1992 and the Prophets, 5030 doe they liue 2421 z8799 for euer? 5769

 1:6 But x389 my words 1697 and my statutes, 2706 which x834 I commanded 6680 z8765 x853 my seruants 5650 the Prophets, 5030 did they not x3808 take holde 5381 z8689 of your fathers? 1 and they returned 7725 z8799 and saide; 559 z8799 Like as x834 the LORD 3068 of hostes 6635 thought 2161 z8804 to doe 6213 z8800 vnto vs, according to our wayes, 1870 and according to our doings, 4611 so x3651 hath he dealt 6213 z8804 with x854 vs.

 1:7 ¶ Upon the foure 702 and twentieth 6242 day 3117 of the eleuenth 6249 6240 moneth, 2320 which x1931 is the moneth 2320 Sebat, 7627 in the second 8147 yere 8141 of Darius, 1867 came x1961 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 vnto x413 Zechariah, 2148 the sonne 1121 of Barachiah, 1296 the sonne 1121 of Iddo 5714 the Prophet, 5030 saying: 559 z8800

 1:8 I saw 7200 z8804 by night, 3915 and behold x2009 a man 376 riding 7392 z8802 vpon x5921 a red 122 horse, 5483 and he x1931 stood 5975 z8802 among x996 the mirtle trees 1918 that x834 [were] in the bottome, 4699 and behinde 310 him [were there] red 122 horses, 5483 speckled 8320 and white. 3836

 1:9 Then said 559 z8799 I, O my Lord, 113 what x4100 [are] these? x428 And the Angel 4397 that talked 1696 z8802 with me, said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, I x589 wil shew 7200 z8686 thee what x4100 these x428 be.

 1:10 And the man 376 that stood 5975 z8802 among x996 the myrtle trees 1918 answered, 6030 z8799 and said, 559 z8799 These x428 [are] they, whom x834 the LORD 3068 hath sent 7971 z8804 to walke y1980 z8692 to and fro x1980 through the earth. 776

 1:11 And they answered 6030 z8799 x853 the Angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 that stood 5975 z8802 among x996 the mirtle trees, 1918 and said, 559 z8799 Wee haue walked to and fro 1980 z8694 through the earth: 776 and behold, x2009 all x3605 the earth 776 sitteth still, 3427 z8802 and is at rest. 8252 z8802

 1:12 ¶ Then the Angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 answered, 6030 z8799 and said, 559 z8799 O LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 how long x5704 x4970 wilt thou x859 not x3808 haue mercie y7355 z8762 on x7355 x853 Ierusalem, 3389 and on the cities 5892 of Iudah, 3063 against which x834 thou hast had indignation 2194 z8804 these x2088 threescore and ten 7657 yeeres? 8141

 1:13 And the LORD 3068 answered 6030 z8799 x853 the Angel 4397 that talked 1696 z8802 with me, with good 2896 words, 1697 [and] comfortable 5150 words. 1697

 1:14 So the Angel 4397 that communed 1696 z8802 with me, said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me; Cry 7121 z8798 thou, saying; 559 z8800 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 I am iealous 7065 z8765 for Ierusalem, 3389 and for Zion, 6726 with a great 1419 iealousie. 7068

 1:15 And I x589 am very 1419 sore y7110 displeased 7107 z8804 x7110 with x5921 the heathen 1471 that are at ease: 7600 for x834 I x589 was but a little 4592 displeased, 7107 z8802 and they x1992 helped 5826 z8804 forward the affliction. 7451

 1:16 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 I am returned 7725 z8804 to Ierusalem 3389 with mercies: 7356 my house 1004 shall bee built 1129 z8735 in it, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 and a line 6957 z8675 y6961 shalbe stretched forth 5186 z8735 vpon x5921 Ierusalem. 3389

 1:17 Cry 7121 z8798 yet, x5750 saying, 559 z8800 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 My cities 5892 through prosperitie 2896 x4480 shall yet x5750 be spread abroad, 6327 z8799 and the LORD 3068 shall yet x5750 comfort 5162 z8765 x853 Zion, 6726 and shall yet x5750 choose 977 z8804 Ierusalem. 3389

 1:18 ¶ Then lift I vp 5375 z8799 x853 mine eyes, 5869 and saw, 7200 z8799 and behold x2009 foure 702 hornes. 7161

 1:19 And I said 559 z8799 vnto x413 the Angel 4397 that talked 1696 z8802 with me; What x4100 [be] these? x428 and he answered 559 z8799 x413 mee, These x428 [are] the hornes 7161 which x834 haue scattered 2219 z8765 x853 Iudah, 3063 x853 Israel, 3478 and Ierusalem. 3389

 1:20 And the LORD 3068 shewed 7200 z8686 mee foure 702 carpenters. 2796

 1:21 Then said 559 z8799 I, What x4100 come 935 z8802 these x428 to doe? 6213 z8800 And hee spake, 559 z8799 saying, 559 z8800 These x428 [are] the hornes 7161 which x834 haue scattered 2219 z8765 x853 Iudah, 3063 so that y6310 no x3808 man 376 did lift vp 5375 z8804 his head: 7218 but these x428 are come 935 z8799 to fray 2729 z8687 them, to cast out 3034 z8763 x853 the hornes 7161 of the Gentiles, 1471 which lift vp 5375 z8802 their horne 7161 ouer x413 the land 776 of Iudah 3063 to scatter 2219 z8763 it.
