Zechariah 12

1 Jerusalem a cup of trembling to herself, 3 and a burdensome stone to her adversaries. 6 The victorious restoring of Judah. 9 The repentance of Jerusalem.

 12:1 ¶ The burden 4853 of the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 for x5921 Israel, 3478 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 which stretcheth y5186 z8802 foorth x5186 the Heauens, 8064 and laith the foundation 3245 z8801 of the earth, 776 and formeth 3335 z8802 the spirit 7307 of man 120 within 7130 him.

 12:2 Behold, x2009 I x595 will make 7760 z8802 x853 Ierusalem 3389 a cup 5592 of trembling 7478 vnto all x3605 the people 5971 round about, 5439 when they shall be x1961 in the siege 4692 both x1571 against x5921 Iudah 3063 [and] against x5921 Ierusalem. 3389

 12:3 ¶ And in that x1931 day 3117 will I make 7760 z8799 x853 Ierusalem 3389 a burdensome 4614 stone 68 for all x3605 people: 5971 all x3605 that burden 6006 z8802 themselues with it, shall be cut in pieces; 8295 z8800 z8735 though all x3605 the people 1471 of the earth 776 bee gathered together 622 z8738 against x5921 it.

 12:4 In that x1931 day, 3117 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 I will smite 5221 z8686 euery x3605 horse 5483 with astonishment, 8541 and his rider 7392 z8802 with madnesse, 7697 and I will open 6491 z8799 x853 mine eyes 5869 vpon x5921 the house 1004 of Iudah, 3063 and will smite 5221 z8686 euery x3605 horse 5483 of the people 5971 with blindnesse. 5788

 12:5 And the gouernours 441 of Iudah 3063 shall say 559 z8804 in their heart, 3820 The inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem 3389 [shall be] my strength 556 in the LORD 3068 of hostes 6635 their God. 430

 12:6 ¶ In that x1931 day 3117 will I make 7760 z8799 x853 the gouernours 441 of Iudah 3063 like a harth 3595 of fire 784 among the wood, 6086 and like a torch 3940 of fire 784 in a sheafe; 5995 and they shall deuoure 398 z8804 x853 all x3605 the people 5971 round about, 5439 on x5921 the right hand 3225 and on x5921 the left: 8040 and Ierusalem 3389 shall bee inhabited 3427 z8804 againe x5750 in her owne place, x8478 [euen] in Ierusalem. 3389

 12:7 The LORD 3068 also shall saue 3467 z8689 x853 the tents 168 of Iudah 3063 first, 7223 that x4616 the glory 8597 of the house 1004 of Dauid, 1732 and the glory 8597 of the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem 3389 do not x3808 magnifie 1431 z8799 [themselues] against x5921 Iudah. 3063

 12:8 In that x1931 day 3117 shall the LORD 3068 defend 1598 z8686 x1157 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem, 3389 and he that is feeble 3782 z8737 among them at that x1931 day 3117 shall be x1961 as Dauid; 1732 and the house 1004 of Dauid 1732 [shall be] as God, 430 as the Angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 before 6440 them.

 12:9 ¶ And it shall come to passe x1961 in that x1931 day, 3117 [that] I will seeke 1245 z8762 to destroy 8045 z8687 x853 all x3605 the nations 1471 that come 935 z8802 against x5921 Ierusalem. 3389

 12:10 And I wil powre 8210 z8804 vpon x5921 the house 1004 of Dauid, 1732 and vpon x5921 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem 3389 the spirit 7307 of grace 2580 and of supplications, 8469 and they shall looke 5027 z8689 vpon x413 me x853 whom x834 they haue pearced, 1856 z8804 and they shal mourne y4553 x5594 for x5921 him, as one mourneth y5594 z8804 x4553 for x5921 [his] onely 3173 [sonne], and shall be in bitternesse 4843 z8687 for x5921 him, as one that is in bitternesse 4843 z8687 for x5921 [his] first borne. 1060

 12:11 In that x1931 day 3117 shall there bee a great 1431 z8799 mourning 4553 in Ierusalem, 3389 as the mourning 4553 of Hadadrimmon 1910 in the valley 1237 of Megiddon. 4023

 12:12 And the land 776 shal mourne, 5594 z8804 euery y4940 familie 4940 apart, 905 the familie 4940 of the house 1004 of Dauid 1732 apart, x905 and their wiues 802 apart, x905 the familie 4940 of the house 1004 of Nathan 5416 apart, x905 and their wiues 802 apart: x905
