Iob 17

1 Job appealeth from men to God. 6 The unmerciful dealing of men with the afflicted may astonish, but not discourage the righteous. 11 His hope is not in life, but in death.

 17:1 ¶ My breath 7307 is corrupt, 2254 z8795 my dayes 3117 are extinct, 2193 z8738 the graues 6913 [are ready] for me.

 17:2 [Are there] not x3808 mockers 2049 with x5978 mee? and doeth not mine eye 5869 continue 3885 z8799 in their prouocation? 4784 z8687

 17:3 Lay downe 7760 z8798 now, x4994 put me in a suretie 6148 z8798 with x5973 thee; who x4310 [is] he x1931 [that] will strike 8628 z8735 hands 3027 with me?

 17:4 For x3588 thou hast hid 6845 z8804 their heart 3820 from vnderstanding: 7922 x4480 therefore x3651 x5921 shalt thou not x3808 exalt 7311 z8787 [them].

 17:5 Hee that speaketh 5046 z8686 flattery 2506 to [his] friends, 7453 euen the eyes 5869 of his children 1121 shall faile. 3615 z8799

 17:6 He hath made 3322 z8689 me also a by-word 4914 of the people, 5971 and afore time 6440 I was x1961 as a tabret. 8611

 17:7 Mine eye 5869 also is dimme 3543 z8799 by reason of sorrow, 3708 x4480 and all x3605 my members 3338 [are] as a shadow. 6738

 17:8 Upright 3477 men shall be astonied 8074 z8799 at x5921 this, x2063 and the innocent 5355 shall stirre vp y5782 z8709 himselfe x5782 against x5921 the hypocrite. 2611

 17:9 The righteous 6662 also shall hold 270 z8799 on his way, 1870 and he that hath cleane y2890 x2889 hands 3027 shalbe y3254 z8686 stronger, and stronger. 555 x3254

 17:11 My dayes 3117 are past, 5674 z8804 my purposes 2154 are broken off, 5423 z8738 euen the thoughts 4180 of my heart: 3824

 17:12 They change 7760 z8799 the night 3915 into day: 3117 the light 216 is short, 7138 because 6440 x4480 of darknes. 2822
