1 Eliphaz reproveth Job of impiety in justifying himself. 17 He proveth by tradition the unquietness of wicked men.

 15:4 Yea x637 thou x859 castest off 6565 z8686 feare, 3374 and restrainest 1639 z8799 prayer 7881 before 6440 God. 410

 15:19 Unto whom alone x905 the earth 776 was giuen, 5414 z8738 and no x3808 stranger 2114 z8801 passed 5674 z8804 among 8432 them.

 15:20 The wicked y7563 man x7563 trauaileth y2342 z8711 with paine x2342 all x3605 [his] dayes, 3117 and the number 4557 of yeeres 8141 is hidden 6845 z8738 to the oppressour. 6184

 15:21 A dreadfull 6343 sound 6963 [is] in his eares; 241 in prosperitie 7965 the destroyer 7703 z8802 shall come y935 z8799 vpon x935 him.

 15:22 He beleeueth 539 z8686 not x3808 that he shall returne 7725 z8800 out of x4480 darkenesse, 2822 and he x1931 is waited y6822 z8803 for, x6822 of x413 the sword. 2719

 15:23 He x1931 wandereth abroad 5074 z8802 for bread, 3899 [saying], Where x346 [is it]? he knoweth 3045 z8804 that x3588 the day 3117 of darkenes 2822 is ready 3559 z8737 at his hand. 3027

 15:24 Trouble 6862 and anguish 4691 shall make him afraid; 1204 z8762 they shall preuaile y8630 z8799 against x8630 him, as a king 4428 ready 6264 to the battell. 3593

 15:26 He runneth 7323 z8799 vpon x413 him, [euen] on [his] necke, 6677 vpon the thicke 5672 bosses 1354 of his bucklers: 4043

 15:27 Because x3588 he couereth 3680 z8765 his face 6440 with his fatnesse, 2459 and maketh 6213 z8799 collops of fat 6371 on x5921 [his] flankes. 3689

 15:28 And he dwelleth y7931 z8799 in x7931 desolate 3582 z8737 cities, 5892 [and] in houses y1004 which x1004 no x3808 man inhabiteth, 3427 z8799 which x834 are ready 6257 z8694 to become heapes. 1530

 15:29 He shall not x3808 be rich, 6238 z8799 neither x3808 shall his substance 2428 continue, 6965 z8799 neither x3808 shall he prolong 5186 z8799 the perfection 4512 thereof vpon the earth. 776

 15:30 He shall not x3808 depart 5493 z8799 out of x4480 darkenesse, 2822 the flame 7957 shall drie vp 3001 z8762 his branches, 3127 and by the breath 7307 of his mouth 6310 shall he goe away. 5493 z8799

 15:31 Let not x408 him that is deceiued, 8582 z8738 trust 539 z8686 in vanitie: 7723 for x3588 vanitie 7723 shalbe x1961 his recompence. 8545

 15:32 It shall be accomplished 4390 z8735 before 3808 his time, 3117 and his branch 3712 shall not x3808 bee greene. 7488

 15:33 He shal shake off 2554 z8799 his vnripe grape 1154 as the Uine, 1612 and shall cast off 7993 z8686 his flowre 5328 as the Oliue. 2132

 15:34 For x3588 the congregation 5712 of hypocrites 2611 [shall be] desolate, 1565 and fire 784 shall consume 398 z8804 the tabernacles 168 of briberie. 7810
