Exodus 5

1 Pharaoh chideth Moses and Aaron for their message. 5 He increaseth the Israelites' task. 15 He checketh their complaints. 20 They cry out upon Moses and Aaron. 22 Moses complaineth to God.

 5:1 ¶ And afterward 310 Moses 4872 and Aaron 175 went in, 935 z8804 and tolde 559 z8799 x413 Pharaoh, 6547 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel, 3478 Let x853 my people 5971 goe, 7971 z8761 that they may holde a feast 2287 z8799 vnto mee in the wildernesse. 4057

 5:2 And Pharaoh 6547 said, 559 z8799 Who x4310 is the LORD, 3068 that x834 I should obey 8085 z8799 his voyce 6963 to let x853 Israel 3478 goe? 7971 z8763 I know 3045 z8804 not x3808 x853 the LORD, 3068 neither x1571 x3808 will I let x853 Israel 3478 goe. 7971 z8762

 5:3 And they said, 559 z8799 The God 430 of the Hebrewes 5680 hath met 7122 z8738 with x5921 vs: let vs goe, y3212 z8799 x1980 we pray thee, x4994 three 7969 dayes 3117 iourney 1870 into the desert, 4057 and sacrifice 2076 z8799 vnto the LORD 3068 our God, 430 lest x6435 hee fall y6293 z8799 vpon x6293 vs with pestilence, 1698 or x176 with the sword. 2719

 5:4 And the King 4428 of Egypt 4714 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 them, Wherfore x4100 doe ye, Moses 4872 and Aaron, 175 let 6544 z8686 x853 the people 5971 from their workes? 4639 x4480 get y3212 z8798 x1980 you vnto your burdens. 5450

 5:5 And Pharaoh 6547 said, 559 z8799 Behold, x2005 the people 5971 of the land 776 now x6258 [are] many, 7227 & you make them rest 7673 z8689 x853 from their burdens. 5450 x4480

 5:7 Yee shall no x3808 more 3254 z8686 giue 5414 z8800 the people 5971 straw 8401 to make 3835 z8800 bricke, 3843 as heretofore: 8032 8543 let them x1992 goe y3212 z8799 x1980 and gather 7197 z8782 straw 8401 for themselues.

 5:8 And the tale 4971 of the brickes 3843 which x834 they x1992 did make 6213 z8802 heretofore, 8032 8543 you shall lay 7760 z8799 vpon x5921 them: you shall not x3808 diminish 1639 z8799 [ought] thereof: x4480 for x3588 they x1992 be idle; 7503 z8737 therefore x5921 x3651 they x1992 cry, 6817 z8802 saying, 559 z8800 Let us goe y3212 z8799 x1980 [and] sacrifice 2076 z8799 to our God. 430

 5:9 Let there more worke y5656 be layde 3513 z8799 x5656 vpon x5921 the men, y582 x376 that they may labour 6213 z8799 therein, and let them not x408 regard 8159 z8799 vaine 8267 wordes. 1697

 5:10 ¶ And the taske-masters 5065 z8802 of the people 5971 went out, 3318 z8799 and their officers, 7860 z8802 and they spake 559 z8799 to x413 the people, 5971 saying, 559 z8800 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 Pharaoh, 6547 I will not x369 giue 5414 z8802 you straw. 8401

 5:11 Goe y3212 z8798 x1980 ye, x859 get 3947 z8798 you straw 8401 where 834 x4480 you can find 4672 z8799 it: yet 3588 not x369 ought 1697 of your worke 5656 x4480 shall be diminished. 1639 z8737

 5:12 So the people 5971 were scattered abroad 6327 z8686 throughout al x3605 the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 to gather 7197 z8780 stubble 7179 in stead of straw. 8401

 5:13 And the taske-masters 5065 z8802 [hasted] 213 z8801 them, saying; 559 z8800 Fulfill 3615 z8761 your workes, 4639 your dayly 3117 taskes, 1697 as when x834 there was 1961 z8800 straw. 8401

 5:14 And the officers 7860 z8802 of the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 which x834 Pharaohs 6547 task-masters 5065 z8802 had set 7760 z8804 ouer x5921 them, were beaten, 5221 z8714 [and] demanded, 559 z8800 Wherefore x4069 haue ye not x3808 fulfilled 3615 z8765 your taske, 2706 in making bricke, 3835 z8800 both x1571 yesterday 8543 and x1571 to day, 3117 as heretofore? 8032 8543

 5:15 ¶ Then the officers 7860 z8802 of the children 1121 of Israel 3478 came 935 z8799 and cryed 6817 z8799 vnto x413 Pharaoh, 6547 saying, 559 z8800 Wherefore x4100 dealest 6213 z8799 thou thus x3541 with thy seruants? 5650

 5:16 There is no x369 straw 8401 giuen 5414 z8737 vnto thy seruants, 5650 and they say 559 z8802 to vs, Make 6213 z8798 bricke: 3843 and beholde, x2009 thy seruants 5650 are beaten; 5221 z8716 but the fault 2398 z8804 is in thine owne people. 5971

 5:17 But he said, 559 z8799 Ye x859 are idle, 7503 z8737 [ye are] idle: 7503 z8737 therefore x5921 x3651 ye x859 say, 559 z8802 Let vs goe y3212 z8799 x1980 [and] doe sacrifice 2076 z8799 to the LORD. 3068

 5:18 Goe y3212 z8798 x1980 therefore now x6258 [and] worke: 5647 z8798 for there shall no x3808 straw 8401 bee giuen 5414 z8735 you, yet shall ye deliuer 5414 z8799 the tale 8506 of brickes. 3843

 5:19 And the officers 7860 z8802 of the children 1121 of Israel 3478 did see 7200 z8799 that they were in euill 7451 case, after it was said, 559 z8800 Yee shall not x3808 minish 1639 z8799 [ought] from your brickes 3843 x4480 of your dayly 3117 taske. 1697

 5:20 ¶ And they met 6293 z8799 x853 Moses 4872 and Aaron, 175 who stood 5324 z8737 in the way, 7125 z8800 as they came foorth 3318 z8800 from x4480 x854 Pharaoh. 6547

 5:21 And they said 559 z8799 vnto x413 them; The LORD 3068 looke 7200 z8799 vpon x5921 you, and iudge, 8199 z8799 because x834 you haue made x853 our sauour 7381 to be abhorred 887 z8689 in the eyes 5869 of Pharaoh, 6547 and in the eyes 5869 of his seruants, 5650 to put 5414 z8800 a sword 2719 in their hand 3027 to slay 2026 z8800 vs.

 5:22 And Moses 4872 returned 7725 z8799 vnto x413 the LORD, 3068 and said, 559 z8799 Lord, 136 Wherefore x4100 hast thou [so] euill intreated 7489 z8689 this x2088 people? 5971 Why x4100 is it x2088 that thou hast sent 7971 z8804 me?

 5:23 For since x4480 x227 I came 935 z8804 to x413 Pharaoh 6547 to speake 1696 z8763 in thy Name, 8034 he hath done euill 7489 z8689 to this x2088 people, 5971 neither x3808 hast thou deliuered 5337 z8689 x853 thy people 5971 at all. 5337 z8687
