1 The Ten Commandments. 18 The people are afraid. 20 Moses comforteth them. 22 Idolatry is forbidden. 24 Of what sort the altar should be.

 20:4 Thou shalt not x3808 make 6213 z8799 vnto thee any grauen Image, 6459 or any x3605 likenesse 8544 [of any thing] that 834 is in heauen 8064 aboue, 4605 x4480 or that x834 is in the earth 776 beneath, x4480 x8478 or that x834 is in the water 4325 vnder x4480 x8478 the earth. 776

 20:5 Thou shalt not x3808 bow downe y7812 z8691 thy selfe x7812 to them, nor x3808 serue 5647 z8714 them: For x3588 I x595 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 [am] a iealous 7067 God, 410 visiting 6485 z8802 the iniquitie 5771 of the fathers 1 vpon x5921 the children, 1121 vnto x5921 the thirde 8029 and fourth 7256 [generation] of them that hate 8130 z8802 me:

 20:6 And shewing 6213 z8802 mercy 2617 vnto thousands 505 of them that loue 157 z8802 mee, and keepe 8104 z8802 my Commandements. 4687

 20:7 Thou shalt not x3808 take 5375 z8799 x853 the Name 8034 of the LORD 3068 thy God 430 in vaine: 7723 for x3588 the LORD 3068 will not x3808 holde him guiltlesse, 5352 z8762 x853 that x834 taketh 5375 z8799 x853 his Name 8034 in vaine. 7723

 20:8 Remember 2142 z8800 the x853 Sabbath 7676 day, 3117 to keepe it holy. 6942 z8763

 20:9 Sixe 8337 dayes 3117 shalt thou labour, 5647 z8799 and doe 6213 z8804 all x3605 thy worke: 4399

 20:10 But the seuenth 7637 day 3117 [is] the Sabbath 7676 of the LORD 3068 thy God: 430 [in it] thou shalt not x3808 doe 6213 z8799 any x3605 worke, 4399 thou, x859 nor thy sonne, 1121 nor thy daughter, 1323 thy man seruant, 5650 nor thy mayd seruant, 519 nor thy cattell, 929 nor thy stranger 1616 that x834 [is] within thy gates: 8179

 20:11 For x3588 in sixe 8337 dayes 3117 the LORD 3068 made 6213 z8804 x853 heauen 8064 and earth, 776 x853 the sea, 3220 and all x3605 that x834 in them is, and rested 5117 z8799 the seuenth 7637 day: 3117 wherefore x5921 x3651 the LORD 3068 blessed 1288 z8765 the x853 Sabbath 7676 day, 3117 and halowed 6942 z8762 it.

 20:12 ¶ Honour 3513 z8761 x853 thy father 1 and thy mother: 517 that x4616 thy dayes 3117 may bee long 748 z8686 vpon x5921 the land, 127 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee.

 20:18 ¶ And all x3605 the people 5971 saw 7200 z8802 x853 the thundrings, 6963 and the lightnings, 3940 and the noise 6963 of the trumpet, 7782 and the mountaine 2022 smoking: 6226 and when the people 5971 saw 7200 z8799 it, they remooued, 5128 z8799 and stood 5975 z8799 a farre off. 7350 x4480

 20:20 And Moses 4872 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 the people, 5971 Feare 3372 z8799 not: x408 for x3588 God 430 is come 935 z8804 to 5668 prooue 5254 z8763 you, and that x5668 his feare 3374 may bee x1961 before x5921 your faces, 6440 that ye sinne 2398 z8799 not. x1115

 20:21 And the people 5971 stood 5975 z8799 afarre off, 7350 x4480 and Moses 4872 drew neere 5066 z8738 vnto x413 the thicke darkenes, 6205 where x834 x8033 God 430 was.

 20:22 ¶ And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses, 4872 Thus x3541 thou shalt say 559 z8799 vnto x413 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 Yee x859 haue seene 7200 z8804 that x3588 I haue talked 1696 z8765 with x5973 you from x4480 heauen. 8064

 20:23 Ye shall not x3808 make 6213 z8799 with x854 me gods 430 of siluer, 3701 neither x3808 shall ye make 6213 z8799 vnto you gods 430 of gold. 2091

 20:24 ¶ An Altar 4196 of earth 127 thou shalt make 6213 z8799 vnto me, and shalt sacrifice 2076 z8804 thereon x5921 x853 thy burnt offerings, 5930 and thy peace offerings, 8002 x853 thy sheepe, 6629 and thine oxen: 1241 In all x3605 places 4725 where x834 I record 2142 z8686 x853 my Name, 8034 I will come 935 z8799 vnto x413 thee, and I will blesse 1288 z8765 thee.

 20:25 And if x518 thou wilt make 6213 z8799 mee an Altar 4196 of stone, 68 thou shalt not x3808 build 1129 z8799 it of hewen stone: 1496 for x3588 if thou lift vp 5130 z8689 thy toole 2719 vpon x5921 it, thou hast polluted 2490 z8762 it.

 20:26 Neither x3808 shalt thou goe vp 5927 z8799 by steps 4609 vnto x5921 mine Altar, 4196 that x834 thy nakednesse 6172 be not x3808 discouered 1540 z8735 thereon. x5921
