Amos 4

1 He reproveth Israel for oppression, 4 for idolatry, 6 and for their incorrigibleness.

 4:2 The Lord 136 GOD 3069 hath sworne 7650 z8738 by his holinesse, 6944 that x3588 loe, x2009 the dayes 3117 shall come 935 z8802 vpon x5921 you, that he will take you away 5375 z8765 x853 with hookes, 6793 and your posteritie 319 with fish-hookes. 1729 5518

 4:3 And yee shall goe out 3318 z8799 at the breaches, 6556 euery 802 [Cow] at that [which is] before x5048 her, and yee shall cast 7993 z8689 them into the palace, 2038 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 4:4 ¶ Come 935 z8798 to Bethel 1008 and transgresse, 6586 z8798 at Gilgal 1537 multiplie 7235 z8685 transgression; 6586 z8800 and bring 935 z8685 your sacrifices 2077 euery morning, 1242 [and] your tithes 4643 after three 7969 [yeeres]. 3117

 4:5 And offer y6999 z8763 a sacrifice x6999 of thanksgiuing 8426 with x4480 leauen, 2557 and proclaime 7121 z8798 and publish 8085 z8685 the free offrings; 5071 for x3588 this 3651 liketh 157 z8804 you, O yee children 1121 of Israel, 3478 saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 4:6 ¶ And I x589 also x1571 haue giuen 5414 z8804 you cleannesse 5356 of teeth 8127 in all x3605 your cities, 5892 and want 2640 of bread 3899 in all x3605 your places: 4725 yet haue yee not x3808 returned 7725 z8804 vnto x5704 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 4:7 And also x1571 I x595 haue withholden 4513 z8804 x853 the raine 1653 from x4480 you, when [there were] yet x5750 three 7969 moneths 2320 to the haruest, 7105 and I caused it to raine 4305 z8689 vpon x5921 one 259 citie, 5892 and caused it not to raine 4305 z8686 x3808 vpon x5921 an other 259 city: 5892 one 259 piece 2513 was rained y4305 z8735 vpon, x4305 & the piece 2513 wherupon x834 x5921 it rained 4305 z8686 not, x3808 withered. 3001 z8799

 4:8 So two 8147 [or] three 7969 cities 5892 wandered 5128 z8804 vnto x413 one 259 citie, 5892 to drinke 8354 z8800 water; 4325 but they were not x3808 satisfied: 7646 z8799 yet haue yee not x3808 returned 7725 z8804 vnto x5704 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 4:9 I haue smitten 5221 z8689 you with blasting 7711 and mildew; 3420 when your gardens 1593 and your vineyards, 3754 and your fig trees, 8384 and your oliue trees 2132 increased, 7235 z8687 the palmer worme 1501 deuoured 398 z8799 [them]: yet haue yee not x3808 returned 7725 z8804 vnto x5704 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 4:10 I haue sent 7971 z8765 among you the pestilence, 1698 after the maner 1870 of Egypt: 4714 your yongmen 970 haue I slain 2026 z8804 with the sword, 2719 and haue taken away 7628 x5973 your horses, 5483 & I haue made the stinke 889 of your campes 4264 to come vp 5927 z8686 vnto your nostrils, 639 yet haue ye not x3808 returned 7725 z8804 vnto x5704 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 4:11 I haue ouerthrowen 2015 z8804 [some] of you, as God 430 ouerthrew 4114 x853 Sodome 5467 & Gomorrah, 6017 and yee were x1961 as a firebrand 181 pluckt x5337 out y5337 z8716 of the burning: 8316 x4480 yet haue yee not x3808 returned 7725 z8804 vnto x5704 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 4:12 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 will I doe 6213 z8799 vnto thee, O Israel: 3478 [and] because 6118 x3588 I will doe 6213 z8799 this x2063 vnto thee, prepare 3559 z8734 to meete 7125 z8800 thy God, 430 O Israel. 3478

 4:13 For x3588 loe, x2009 he that formeth 3335 z8802 the mountaines, 2022 and createth 1254 z8802 the wind, 7307 and declareth 5046 z8688 vnto man, 120 what x4100 [is] his thought, 7808 that maketh 6213 z8802 the morning 7837 darkenesse, 5890 and treadeth 1869 z8802 vpon x5921 the high places 1116 of the earth: 776 the LORD, 3068 the God 430 of hostes 6635 [is] his Name. 8034
