1 God's wrath against Moab, 4 upon Judah, 6 and upon Israel. 9 God complaineth of their unfaithfulness.

2:1 ¶ Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 For x5921 three 7969 transgressions 6588 of Moab, 4124 and for x5921 foure, 702 I wil not x3808 turne away 7725 z8686 [the punishment] thereof, because x5921 hee burnt 8313 z8800 the bones 6106 of the King 4428 of Edom 123 into lime. 7875

2:2 But I will send 7971 z8765 a fire 784 vpon Moab, 4124 and it shall deuoure 398 z8804 the palaces 759 of Kerioth, 7152 and Moab 4124 shall die 4191 z8804 with tumult, 7588 with shouting, 8643 [and] with the sound 6963 of the trumpet: 7782

2:3 And I will cut off 3772 z8689 the iudge 8199 z8802 from the middest 7130 x4480 thereof, and wil slay 2026 z8799 all x3605 the princes 8269 thereof with x5973 him, sayeth 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068

2:4 ¶ Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 For x5921 three 7969 transgressions 6588 of Iudah, 3063 and for x5921 foure, 702 I will not x3808 turne away 7725 z8686 [the punishment] thereof; because x5921 they haue despised 3988 z8800 x853 the Law 8451 of the LORD, 3068 and haue not x3808 kept 8104 z8804 his Commandements, 2706 and their lies 3577 caused them to erre, 8582 z8686 after 310 the which x834 their fathers 1 haue walked. 1980 z8804

2:5 But I will send 7971 z8765 a fire 784 vpon Iudah, 3063 and it shall deuoure 398 z8804 the palaces 759 of Ierusalem. 3389

2:6 ¶ Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 For x5921 three 7969 transgressions 6588 of Israel, 3478 and for x5921 foure, 702 I will not x3808 turne away 7725 z8686 [the punishment] thereof; because x5921 they solde 4376 z8800 the righteous 6662 for siluer, 3701 and the poore 34 for x5668 a paire of shooes: 5275

2:8 And they lay themselues downe 5186 z8686 vpon x5921 clothes 899 laide to pledge, 2254 z8803 by 681 euery x3605 Altar, 4196 and they drinke 8354 z8799 the wine 3196 of the condemned 6064 z8803 [in] the house 1004 of their God. 430

2:11 And I raised vp 6965 z8686 of your sonnes 1121 x4480 for Prophets, 5030 and of your young men 970 x4480 for Nazarites. 5139 [Is it] not x369 euen x637 thus, x2063 O ye children 1121 of Israel, 3478 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD? 3068

2:12 But ye gaue x853 the Nazarites 5139 wine 3196 to drinke, 8248 z8686 and commaunded 6680 z8765 the Prophets, 5030 saying, 559 z8800 Prophecie 5012 z8735 not. x3808

2:14 Therefore the flight 4498 shall perish 6 z8804 from the swift, 7031 x4480 and the strong 2389 shall not x3808 strengthen 553 z8762 his force, 3581 neither x3808 shall the mightie 1368 deliuer 4422 z8762 himselfe: 5315

2:15 Neither x3808 shall hee stand 5975 z8799 that handleth 8610 z8802 the bow, 7198 and hee that is swift 7031 of foote, 7272 shall not x3808 deliuer 4422 z8762 [himselfe], neither x3808 shall hee that rideth 7392 z8802 the horse, 5483 deliuer 4422 z8762 himselfe. 5315

2:16 And hee that is couragious 533 3820 among the mighty, 1368 shall flee away 5127 z8799 naked 6174 in that x1931 day, 3117 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068
