Proverbs 29

1 Observations of publick government, 15 and of private. 22 Of anger, pride, thievery, cowardice, and corruption.

 29:1 ¶ He, 376 that being often reproved 8433 hardeneth 7185 z8688 [his] neck, 6203 shall suddenly 6621 be destroyed, 7665 z8735 and that without x369 remedy. 4832

 29:2 When the righteous 6662 are in authority, 7235 z8800 the people 5971 rejoice: 8055 z8799 but when the wicked 7563 beareth rule, 4910 z8800 the people 5971 mourn. 584 z8735

 29:3 Whoso 376 loveth 157 z8802 wisdom 2451 rejoiceth 8055 z8762 his father: 1 but he that keepeth company 7462 z8802 with harlots 2181 z8802 spendeth 6 z8762 [his] substance. 1952

 29:4 The king 4428 by judgment 4941 establisheth 5975 z8686 the land: 776 but he 376 that receiveth gifts 8641 overthroweth 2040 z8799 it.

 29:5 A man 1397 that flattereth 2505 z8688 x5921 his neighbor 7453 spreadeth 6566 z8802 a net 7568 for x5921 his feet. 6471

 29:6 In the transgression 6588 of an evil 7451 man 376 [there is] a snare: 4170 but the righteous 6662 doth sing 7442 z8799 and rejoice. y8056 x8055

 29:7 The righteous 6662 considereth 3045 z8802 the cause 1779 of the poor: 1800 [but] the wicked 7563 regardeth 995 z8799 not x3808 to know 1847 [it].

 29:9 [If] a wise 2450 man 376 contendeth 8199 z8737 with x854 a foolish 191 man, 376 whether he rage 7264 z8804 or laugh, 7832 z8804 [there is] no x369 rest. 5183

 29:10 The bloodthirsty 1818 y582 x376 hate 8130 z8799 the upright: 8535 but the just 3477 seek 1245 z8762 his soul. 5315

 29:13 The poor 7326 z8802 and the deceitful 8501 man 376 meet together: 6298 z8738 the LORD 3068 lighteneth 215 z8688 both 8147 their eyes. 5869

 29:14 The king 4428 that faithfully 571 judgeth 8199 z8802 the poor, 1800 his throne 3678 shall be established 3559 z8735 forever. 5703

 29:15 The rod 7626 and reproof 8433 give 5414 z8799 wisdom: 2451 but a child 5288 left 7971 z8794 [to himself] bringeth his mother 517 to shame. 954 z8688

 29:16 When the wicked 7563 are multiplied, 7235 z8800 transgression 6588 increaseth: 7235 z8799 but the righteous 6662 shall see 7200 z8799 their fall. 4658

 29:17 Correct 3256 z8761 thy son, 1121 and he shall give thee rest; 5117 z8686 yea, he shall give 5414 z8799 delight 4574 unto thy soul. 5315

 29:18 Where [there is] no x369 vision, 2377 the people 5971 perish: 6544 z8735 but he that keepeth 8104 z8802 the law, 8451 happy 835 [is] he.

 29:19 A servant 5650 will not x3808 be corrected 3256 z8735 by words: 1697 for though x3588 he understand 995 z8799 he will not x369 answer. 4617

 29:20 Seest 2372 z8804 thou a man 376 [that is] hasty 213 z8801 in his words? 1697 [there is] more hope 8615 of a fool 3684 than of x4480 him.

 29:21 He that delicately bringeth up 6445 z8764 his servant 5650 from a child 5290 x4480 shall have him become x1961 [his] son 4497 at the length. 319

 29:22 An angry 639 man 376 stirreth up 1624 z8762 strife, 4066 and a furious 2534 man 1167 aboundeth x7227 in y7227 transgression. 6588

 29:23 A man's 120 pride 1346 shall bring him low: 8213 z8686 but honor 3519 shall uphold 8551 z8799 the humble 8217 in spirit. 7307

 29:24 Whoso is partner 2505 z8802 with x5973 a thief 1590 hateth 8130 z8802 his own soul: 5315 he heareth 8085 z8799 cursing, 423 and betrayeth 5046 z8686 [it] not. x3808

 29:25 The fear 2731 of man 120 bringeth 5414 z8799 a snare: 4170 but whoso putteth his trust 982 z8802 in the LORD 3068 shall be safe. 7682 z8792

 29:26 Many 7227 seek 1245 z8764 the ruler's 4910 z8802 favor; 6440 but [every] man's 376 judgment 4941 [cometh] from the LORD. 3068 x4480

 29:27 An unjust 5766 man 376 [is] an abomination 8441 to the just: 6662 and [he that is] upright 3477 in the way 1870 [is] abomination 8441 to the wicked. 7563
