Proverbs 19

1 From this chapter to the five and twentieth are sundry observations of moral virtues, and their contrary vices.

 19:1 ¶ Better 2896 [is] the poor 7326 z8802 that walketh 1980 z8802 in his integrity, 8537 than [he that is] perverse 6141 x4480 in his lips, 8193 and is a fool. 3684

 19:2 Also, x1571 [that] the soul 5315 [be] without x3808 knowledge, 1847 [it is] not x3808 good; 2896 and he that hasteth 213 z8801 with [his] feet 7272 sinneth. 2398 z8802

 19:3 The foolishness 200 of man 120 perverteth 5557 z8762 his way: 1870 and his heart 3820 fretteth 2196 z8799 against x5921 the LORD. 3068

 19:4 Wealth 1952 maketh 3254 z8686 many 7227 friends; 7453 but the poor 1800 is separated 6504 z8735 from his neighbor. 7453 x4480

 19:5 A false 8267 witness 5707 shall not x3808 be unpunished, 5352 z8735 and [he that] speaketh 6315 z8686 lies 3577 shall not x3808 escape. 4422 z8735

 19:6 Many 7227 will entreat 2470 z8762 the favor 6440 of the prince: 5081 and every man x3605 [is] a friend 7453 to him y376 that giveth gifts. 4976 x376

 19:7 All x3605 the brethren 251 of the poor 7326 z8802 do hate 8130 z8804 him: how much more x637 x3588 do his friends 4828 go far 7368 z8804 from x4480 him? he pursueth 7291 z8764 [them with] words, 561 [yet] they x1992 [are] wanting x3808 [to him].

 19:8 He that getteth 7069 z8802 wisdom 3820 loveth 157 z8802 his own soul: 5315 he that keepeth 8104 z8802 understanding 8394 shall find 4672 z8800 good. 2896

 19:9 A false 8267 witness 5707 shall not x3808 be unpunished, 5352 z8735 and [he that] speaketh 6315 z8686 lies 3577 shall perish. 6 z8799

 19:10 Delight 8588 is not x3808 seemly 5000 for a fool; 3684 much less x637 for x3588 a servant 5650 to have rule 4910 z8800 over princes. 8269

 19:11 The discretion 7922 of a man 120 deferreth 748 z8689 his anger; 639 and [it is] his glory 8597 to pass x5674 over y5674 z8800 x5921 a transgression. 6588

 19:12 The king's 4428 wrath 2197 [is] as the roaring 5099 of a lion; 3715 but his favor 7522 [is] as dew 2919 upon x5921 the grass. 6212

 19:13 A foolish 3684 son 1121 [is] the calamity 1942 of his father: 1 and the contentions 4079 of a wife 802 [are] a continual 2956 z8802 dropping. 1812

 19:14 House 1004 and riches 1952 [are] the inheritance 5159 of fathers: 1 and a prudent 7919 z8688 wife 802 [is] from the LORD. 3068 x4480

 19:15 Slothfulness 6103 casteth 5307 z8686 into a deep sleep; 8639 and an idle 7423 soul 5315 shall suffer hunger. 7456 z8799

 19:17 He that hath pity 2603 z8802 upon the poor 1800 lendeth 3867 z8688 unto the LORD; 3068 and that which he hath given 1576 will he pay him again. 7999 z8762

 19:21 [There are] many 7227 devices 4284 in a man's 376 heart; 3820 nevertheless the counsel 6098 of the LORD, 3068 that x1931 shall stand. 6965 z8799

 19:22 The desire 8378 of a man 120 [is] his kindness: 2617 and a poor x7326 man y7326 z8802 x4480 x376 [is] better 2896 than y376 a liar. 3577

 19:23 The fear 3374 of the LORD 3068 [tendeth] to life: 2416 and [he that hath it] shall abide 3885 z8799 satisfied; 7649 he shall not x1077 be visited 6485 z8735 with evil. 7451
