Psalmes 118

1 An exhortation to praise God for his mercy. 5 The psalmist by his experience sheweth how good it is to trust in God. 19 Under the type of the psalmist the coming of Christ in his Kingdom is expressed.

 118:1 ¶ O giue thankes 3034 z8685 vnto the LORD, 3068 for x3588 hee [is] good: 2896 because x3588 his mercie 2617 [endureth] for euer. 5769

 118:5 I called y7121 z8804 vpon x7121 the Lord 3050 in x4480 distresse: 4712 the Lord 3050 answered 6030 z8804 me, [and set me] in a large place. 4800

 118:6 The LORD 3068 [is] on my side, I will not x3808 feare: 3372 z8799 What x4100 can y6213 z0 man 120 doe 6213 z8799 vnto mee?

 118:7 The LORD 3068 taketh my part with them that helpe 5826 z8802 me: therfore shall I x589 see 7200 z8799 [my desire] vpon them that hate 8130 z8802 me.

 118:11 They compassed mee about, 5437 z8804 yea x1571 they compassed mee about: 5437 z8804 [but] in the Name 8034 of the LORD, 3068 I will destroy 4135 z8686 them.

 118:12 They compassed mee about 5437 z8804 like Bees, 1682 they are quenched 1846 z8795 as the fire 784 of thornes: 6975 for in the Name 8034 of the LORD 3068 I wil destroy 4135 z8686 them.
