Psalmes 106

1 The psalmist exhorteth to praise God. 4 He prayeth for pardon of sin, as God did with the fathers. 7 The story of the people's rebellion, and God's mercy. 47 He concludeth with prayer and praise.

 106:2 Who x4310 can vtter 4448 z8762 the mighty acts 1369 of the LORD? 3068 [who] can shew foorth 8085 z8686 all x3605 his praise? 8416

 106:3 Blessed 835 [are they] that keepe 8104 z8802 iudgement: 4941 [and] he that doeth 6213 z8802 righteousnesse 6666 at all x3605 times. 6256

 106:4 Remember 2142 z8798 me, O LORD, 3068 with the fauour 7522 [that thou bearest vnto] thy people: 5971 O visite 6485 z8798 me with thy saluation: 3444

 106:5 That I may see 7200 z8800 the good 2896 of thy chosen, 972 that I may reioyce 8055 z8800 in the gladnesse 8057 of thy nation: 1471 that I may glory 1984 z8692 with x5973 thine inheritance. 5159

 106:25 But murmured 7279 z8735 in their tents: 168 [and] hearkened 8085 z8804 not x3808 vnto the voyce 6963 of the LORD. 3068

 106:27 To ouerthrow 5307 z8687 their seed 2233 also among the nations, 1471 and to scatter 2219 z8763 them in the lands. 776

 106:29 Thus they prouoked [him] to anger 3707 z8686 with their inuentions: 4611 and the plague 4046 brake in 6555 z8799 vpon them.

 106:30 Then stood vp 5975 z8799 Phinehas, 6372 and executed iudgement: 6419 z8762 and [so] the plague 4046 was stayed. 6113 z8735

 106:31 And that was counted 2803 z8735 vnto him for righteousnesse: 6666 vnto all y1755 generations 1755 for y5704 euermore. 5769 x5704

 106:32 They angred 7107 z8686 [him] also at x5921 the waters 4325 of strife: 4808 z8677 y4809 so that it went ill 3415 z8799 with Moses 4872 for their sakes: x5668

 106:34 They did not x3808 destroy 8045 z8689 x853 the nations, 5971 concerning whom x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 559 z8804 them:

 106:35 But were mingled 6148 z8691 among the heathen, 1471 and learned 3925 z8799 their workes. 4639

 106:36 And they serued 5647 z8799 x853 their idoles: 6091 which were x1961 a snare 4170 vnto them.

 106:37 Yea they sacrificed 2076 z8799 x853 their sonnes, 1121 and their daughters 1323 vnto deuils, 7700

 106:38 And shed 8210 z8799 innocent 5355 blood, 1818 [euen] the blood 1818 of their sons 1121 and of their daughters, 1323 whome x834 they sacrificed 2076 z8765 vnto the idoles 6091 of Canaan: 3667 and the land 776 was polluted 2610 z8799 with blood. 1818

 106:39 Thus were they defiled 2930 z8799 with their owne works: 4639 and went a whoring 2181 z8799 with their owne inuentions. 4611

 106:40 Therefore was the wrath 639 of the LORD 3068 kindled 2734 z8799 against his people: 5971 insomuch that he abhorred 8581 z8762 x853 his owne inheritance. 5159

 106:41 And he gaue 5414 z8799 them into the hand 3027 of the heathen: 1471 and they that hated 8130 z8802 them, ruled 4910 z8799 ouer them.

 106:42 Their enemies 341 z8802 also oppressed 3905 z8799 them: and they were brought into subiection 3665 z8735 vnder x8478 their hand. 3027

 106:43 Many 7227 times 6471 did he deliuer 5337 z8686 them: but they x1992 prouoked 4784 z8686 [him] with their counsell, 6098 and were brought low 4355 z8799 for their iniquitie. 5771

 106:44 Neuertheles he regarded 7200 z8799 their affliction: 6862 when he heard 8085 z8800 x853 their crie. 7440

 106:45 And hee remembred 2142 z8799 for them his couenant: 1285 and repented 5162 z8735 according to the multitude 7230 of his mercies. 2617

 106:46 He made 5414 z8799 them also to be pitied, 7356 of 6440 all x3605 those that caried them captiues. 7617 z8802
