Ezekiel 5

1 Under the type of hair, 5 is shewed the judgment of Jerusalem for their rebellion, 12 by famine, sword, and dispersion.

 5:1 ¶ And thou, x859 son 1121 of man, 120 take 3947 z8798 thee a sharp 2299 knife, 2719 take 3947 z8799 thee a barber's 1532 razor, 8593 and cause [it] to pass 5674 z8689 upon x5921 thine head 7218 and upon x5921 thy beard: 2206 then take 3947 z8804 thee balances 3976 to weigh, 4948 and divide 2505 z8765 the [hair].

 5:2 Thou shalt burn 1197 z8686 with fire 217 a third part 7992 in the midst 8432 of the city, 5892 when the days 3117 of the siege 4692 are fulfilled: 4390 z8800 and thou shalt take 3947 z8804 x853 a third part, 7992 [and] smite 5221 z8686 about 5439 it with a knife: 2719 and a third part 7992 thou shalt scatter 2219 z8799 in the wind; 7307 and I will draw out 7324 z8686 a sword 2719 after 310 them.

 5:3 Thou shalt also take 3947 z8804 thereof x4480 x8033 a few 4592 in number, 4557 and bind 6696 z8804 them in thy skirts. 3671

 5:4 Then take x3947 of x4480 them again, y3947 z8799 x5750 and cast 7993 z8689 them into x413 the midst 8432 of the fire, 784 and burn 8313 z8804 them in the fire; 784 [for] thereof x4480 shall a fire 784 come forth 3318 z8799 into x413 all x3605 the house 1004 of Israel. 3478

 5:5 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 This x2063 [is] Jerusalem: 3389 I have set 7760 z8804 it in the midst 8432 of the nations 1471 and countries 776 [that are] round about 5439 her.

 5:6 And she hath changed 4784 z8686 x853 my judgments 4941 into wickedness 7564 more than x4480 the nations, 1471 and my statutes 2708 more than x4480 the countries 776 that x834 [are] round about 5439 her: for x3588 they have refused 3988 z8804 my judgments 4941 and my statutes, 2708 they have not x3808 walked 1980 z8804 in them.

 5:7 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Because x3282 ye multiplied 1995 z8800 more than x4480 the nations 1471 that x834 [are] round about 5439 you, [and] have not x3808 walked 1980 z8804 in my statutes, 2708 neither x3808 have kept 6213 z8804 my judgments, 4941 neither x3808 have done 6213 z8804 according to the judgments 4941 of the nations 1471 that x834 [are] round about 5439 you;

 5:8 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Behold, x2009 I, even x1571 I, x589 [am] against x5921 thee, and will execute 6213 z8804 judgments 4941 in the midst 8432 of thee in the sight 5869 of the nations. 1471

 5:9 And I will do 6213 z8804 in thee x853 that which x834 I have not x3808 done, 6213 z8804 and whereunto x834 I will not x3808 do 6213 z8799 any more x5750 the like, x3644 because y3282 of x3282 all x3605 thine abominations. 8441

 5:10 Therefore x3651 the fathers 1 shall eat 398 z8799 the sons 1121 in the midst 8432 of thee, and the sons 1121 shall eat 398 z8799 their fathers; 1 and I will execute 6213 z8804 judgments 8201 in thee, and x853 the whole x3605 remnant 7611 of thee will I scatter 2219 z8765 into all x3605 the winds. 7307

 5:11 Wherefore, x3651 [as] I x589 live, 2416 saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Surely, x518 x3808 because x3282 thou hast defiled 2930 z8765 x853 my sanctuary 4720 with all x3605 thy detestable things, 8251 and with all x3605 thine abominations, 8441 therefore x1571 will I x589 also diminish 1639 z8799 [thee]; neither x3808 shall mine eye 5869 spare, 2347 z8799 neither x3808 will I x589 have any pity. 2550 z8799

 5:12 ¶ A third part 7992 of thee shall die 4191 z8799 with the pestilence, 1698 and with famine 7458 shall they be consumed 3615 z8799 in the midst 8432 of thee: and a third part 7992 shall fall 5307 z8799 by the sword 2719 round about 5439 thee; and I will scatter 2219 z8762 a third part 7992 into all x3605 the winds, 7307 and I will draw out 7324 z8686 a sword 2719 after 310 them.

 5:13 Thus shall mine anger 639 be accomplished, 3615 z8804 and I will cause my fury 2534 to rest 5117 z8689 upon them, and I will be comforted: 5162 z8694 and they shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 the LORD 3068 have spoken 1696 z8765 [it] in my zeal, 7068 when I have accomplished 3615 z8763 my fury 2534 in them.

 5:14 Moreover I will make 5414 z8799 thee waste, 2723 and a reproach 2781 among the nations 1471 that x834 [are] round about 5439 thee, in the sight 5869 of all x3605 that pass by. 5674 z8802

 5:15 So it shall be x1961 a reproach 2781 and a taunt, 1422 an instruction 4148 and an astonishment 4923 unto the nations 1471 that x834 [are] round about 5439 thee, when I shall execute 6213 z8800 judgments 8201 in thee in anger 639 and in fury 2534 and in furious 2534 rebukes. 8433 I x589 the LORD 3068 have spoken 1696 z8765 [it].

 5:16 When I shall send 7971 z8762 upon them the x853 evil 7451 arrows 2671 of famine, 7458 which x834 shall be x1961 for [their] destruction, 4889 [and] which x834 I will send 7971 z8763 x853 to destroy 7843 z8763 you: and I will increase 3254 z8686 the famine 7458 upon x5921 you, and will break 7665 z8804 your staff 4294 of bread: 3899

 5:17 So will I send 7971 z8765 upon x5921 you famine 7458 and evil 7451 beasts, 2416 and they shall bereave 7921 z8765 thee; and pestilence 1698 and blood 1818 shall pass x5674 through y5674 z8799 thee; and I will bring 935 z8686 the sword 2719 upon x5921 thee.
