Ezekiel 37

1 By the resurrection of dry bones, 11 the dead hope of Israel is revived. 15 By the uniting of two sticks, 18 is shewed the incorporation of Israel into Judah. 20 The promises of Christ's Kingdom.

 37:1 ¶ The hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 was x1961 upon x5921 me, and carried me out 3318 z8686 in the spirit 7307 of the LORD, 3068 and set me down 5117 z8686 in the midst 8432 of the valley 1237 which x1931 [was] full 4392 of bones, 6106

 37:2 And caused me to pass 5674 z8689 by x5921 them round about: 5439 and, behold, x2009 [there were] very 3966 many 7227 in x5921 the open 6440 valley; 1237 and, lo, x2009 [they were] very 3966 dry. 3002

 37:3 And he said 559 z8799 unto x413 me, Son 1121 of man, 120 can these x428 bones 6106 live? 2421 z8799 And I answered, 559 z8799 O Lord 136 GOD, 3069 thou x859 knowest. 3045 z8804

 37:4 Again he said 559 z8799 unto x413 me, Prophesy 5012 z8734 upon x5921 these x428 bones, 6106 and say 559 z8804 unto x413 them, O ye dry 3002 bones, 6106 hear 8085 z8798 the word 1697 of the LORD. 3068

 37:5 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD 3069 unto these x428 bones; 6106 Behold, x2009 I x589 will cause breath 7307 to enter 935 z8688 into you, and ye shall live: 2421 z8804

 37:6 And I will lay 5414 z8804 sinews 1517 upon x5921 you, and will bring up 5927 z8689 flesh 1320 upon x5921 you, and cover 7159 z8804 x5921 you with skin, 5785 and put 5414 z8804 breath 7307 in you, and ye shall live; 2421 z8804 and ye shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD. 3068

 37:7 So I prophesied 5012 z8738 as x834 I was commanded: 6680 z8795 and as I prophesied, 5012 z8736 there was x1961 a noise, 6963 and behold x2009 a shaking, 7494 and the bones 6106 came together, 7126 z8799 bone 6106 to x413 his bone. 6106

 37:8 And when I beheld, 7200 z8804 lo, x2009 the sinews 1517 and the flesh 1320 came up 5927 z8804 upon x5921 them, and the skin 5785 covered 7159 z8799 x5921 them above: 4605 but [there was] no x369 breath 7307 in them.

 37:9 Then said 559 z8799 he unto x413 me, Prophesy 5012 z8734 unto x413 the wind, 7307 prophesy, 5012 z8734 son 1121 of man, 120 and say 559 z8804 to x413 the wind, 7307 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Come 935 z8798 from the four 702 x4480 winds, 7307 O breath, 7307 and breathe 5301 z8798 upon these x428 slain, 2026 z8803 that they may live. 2421 z8799

 37:10 So I prophesied 5012 z8694 as x834 he commanded 6680 z8765 me, and the breath 7307 came 935 z8799 into them, and they lived, 2421 z8799 and stood up 5975 z8799 upon x5921 their feet, 7272 an exceeding 3966 great 1419 army. 2428

 37:11 ¶ Then he said 559 z8799 unto x413 me, Son 1121 of man, 120 these x428 bones 6106 are the whole x3605 house 1004 of Israel: 3478 behold, x2009 they say, 559 z8802 Our bones 6106 are dried, 3001 z8804 and our hope 8615 is lost: 6 z8804 we are cut off 1504 z8738 for our parts.

 37:12 Therefore x3651 prophesy 5012 z8734 and say 559 z8804 unto x413 them, Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Behold, x2009 O my people, 5971 I x589 will open 6605 z8802 x853 your graves, 6913 and cause you to come up 5927 z8689 out of your graves, 6913 x4480 and bring 935 z8689 you into x413 the land 127 of Israel. 3478

 37:13 And ye shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 when I have opened 6605 z8800 x853 your graves, 6913 O my people, 5971 and brought you up 5927 z8687 x853 out of your graves, 6913 x4480

 37:14 And shall put 5414 z8804 my spirit 7307 in you, and ye shall live, 2421 z8804 and I shall place y3240 z8689 x5117 you in x5921 your own land: 127 then shall ye know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 the LORD 3068 have spoken 1696 z8765 [it], and performed 6213 z8804 [it], saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 37:15 ¶ The word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 again unto x413 me, saying, 559 z8800

 37:16 Moreover, thou x859 son 1121 of man, 120 take 3947 z8798 thee one 259 stick, 6086 and write 3789 z8798 upon x5921 it, For Judah, 3063 and for the children 1121 of Israel 3478 his companions: 2270 then take 3947 z8798 another 259 stick, 6086 and write 3789 z8798 upon x5921 it, For Joseph, 3130 the stick 6086 of Ephraim, 669 and [for] all x3605 the house 1004 of Israel 3478 his companions: 2270

 37:17 And join 7126 z8761 them one 259 to x413 another 259 into one 259 stick; 6086 and they shall become x1961 one 259 in thine hand. 3027

 37:18 ¶ And when x834 the children 1121 of thy people 5971 shall speak 559 z8799 unto x413 thee, saying, 559 z8800 Wilt thou not x3808 show 5046 z8686 us what x4100 thou [meanest] by these? x428

 37:19 Say 1696 z8761 unto x413 them, Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Behold, x2009 I x589 will take 3947 z8802 x853 the stick 6086 of Joseph, 3130 which x834 [is] in the hand 3027 of Ephraim, 669 and the tribes 7626 of Israel 3478 his fellows, 2270 and will put 5414 z8804 them with x5921 him, [even] with x854 the stick 6086 of Judah, 3063 and make 6213 z8804 them one 259 stick, 6086 and they shall be x1961 one 259 in mine hand. 3027

 37:20 ¶ And the sticks 6086 whereon x834 x5921 thou writest 3789 z8799 shall be x1961 in thine hand 3027 before their eyes. 5869

 37:21 And say 1696 z8761 unto x413 them, Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Behold, x2009 I x589 will take 3947 z8802 x853 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 from among 996 x4480 the heathen, 1471 whither x834 x8033 they be gone, 1980 z8804 and will gather 6908 z8765 them on every side, 5439 x4480 and bring 935 z8689 them into x413 their own land: 127

 37:22 And I will make 6213 z8804 them one 259 nation 1471 in the land 776 upon the mountains 2022 of Israel; 3478 and one 259 king 4428 shall be x1961 king 4428 to them all: x3605 and they shall be y5750 x1961 no x3808 more x5750 two 8147 nations, 1471 neither x3808 shall they be divided 2673 z8735 into two 8147 kingdoms 4467 any more at all: 5750

 37:23 Neither x3808 shall they defile 2930 z8691 themselves any more x5750 with their idols, 1544 nor with their detestable things, 8251 nor with any x3605 of their transgressions: 6588 but I will save 3467 z8689 them out of all x4480 x3605 their dwelling places, 4186 wherein x834 they have sinned, 2398 z8804 and will cleanse 2891 z8765 them: so shall they be x1961 my people, 5971 and I x589 will be x1961 their God. 430

 37:24 And David 1732 my servant 5650 [shall be] king 4428 over x5921 them; and they all x3605 shall have x1961 one 259 shepherd: 7462 z8802 they shall also walk y3212 z8799 x1980 in my judgments, 4941 and observe 8104 z8799 my statutes, 2708 and do 6213 z8804 them.

 37:25 And they shall dwell 3427 z8804 in x5921 the land 776 that x834 I have given 5414 z8804 unto Jacob 3290 my servant, 5650 wherein x834 your fathers 1 have dwelt; 3427 z8804 and they shall dwell 3427 z8804 therein, x5921 [even] they, x1992 and their children, 1121 and their children's 1121 children 1121 forever: 5769 and my servant 5650 David 1732 [shall be] their prince 5387 forever. 5769 y5704

 37:26 Moreover I will make 3772 z8804 a covenant 1285 of peace 7965 with them; it shall be x1961 an everlasting 5769 covenant 1285 with x854 them: and I will place 5414 z8804 them, and multiply 7235 z8689 them, and will set 5414 z8804 my sanctuary 4720 in the midst 8432 of them forevermore. 5769

 37:27 My tabernacle 4908 also shall be x1961 with x5921 them: yea, I will be x1961 their God, 430 and they x1992 shall be x1961 my people. 5971

 37:28 And the heathen 1471 shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 the LORD 3068 do sanctify 6942 z8764 x853 Israel, 3478 when my sanctuary 4720 shall be x1961 in the midst 8432 of them forevermore. 5769
