1 Job, acknowledging God's justice, sheweth there is no contending with him. 22 Man's innocency is not to be condemned by afflictions.

 9:4 [He is] wise 2450 in heart, 3824 and mighty 533 in strength: 3581 who x4310 hath hardened 7185 z8689 [himself] against x413 him, and hath prospered? 7999 z8799

 9:5 Which removeth 6275 z8688 the mountains, 2022 and they know 3045 z8804 not: x3808 which x834 overturneth 2015 z8804 them in his anger. 639

 9:6 Which shaketh 7264 z8688 the earth 776 out of her place, 4725 x4480 and the pillars 5982 thereof tremble. 6426 z8691

 9:7 Which commandeth 559 z8802 the sun, 2775 and it riseth 2224 z8799 not; x3808 and sealeth up 2856 z8799 the stars. 3556

 9:14 How much less x637 x3588 shall I x595 answer 6030 z8799 him, [and] choose out 977 z8799 my words 1697 [to reason] with x5973 him?

 9:15 Whom, x834 though x518 I were righteous, 6663 z8804 [yet] would I not x3808 answer, 6030 z8799 [but] I would make supplication 2603 z8691 to my judge. 8199 z8781

 9:17 For x834 he breaketh 7779 z8799 me with a tempest, 8183 and multiplieth 7235 z8689 my wounds 6482 without cause. 2600

 9:18 He will not x3808 suffer 5414 z8799 me to take 7725 z8687 my breath, 7307 but x3588 filleth 7646 z8686 me with bitterness. 4472

 9:19 If x518 [I speak] of strength, 3581 lo, x2009 [he is] strong: 533 and if x518 of judgment, 4941 who x4310 shall set y3259 z8686 me a time x3259 [to plead]?

 9:20 If x518 I justify 6663 z8799 myself, mine own mouth 6310 shall condemn 7561 z8686 me: [if I say], I x589 [am] perfect, 8535 it shall also prove me perverse. 6140 z8799

 9:21 [Though] I x589 [were] perfect, 8535 [yet] would I not x3808 know 3045 z8799 my soul: 5315 I would despise 3988 z8799 my life. 2416

 9:22 This x1931 [is] one 259 [thing], therefore x5921 x3651 I said 559 z8804 [it], He x1931 destroyeth 3615 z8764 the perfect 8535 and the wicked. 7563

 9:23 If x518 the scourge 7752 slay 4191 z8686 suddenly, 6597 he will laugh 3932 z8799 at the trial 4531 of the innocent. 5355

 9:25 Now my days 3117 are swifter 7043 z8804 than x4480 a post: 7323 z8801 they flee away, 1272 z8804 they see 7200 z8804 no x3808 good. 2896

 9:32 For x3588 [he is] not x3808 a man, 376 as I x3644 [am, that] I should answer 6030 z8799 him, [and] we should come 935 z8799 together 3162 in judgment. 4941

 9:33 Neither x3808 is y3426 there x3426 any daysman 3198 z8688 betwixt x996 us, [that] might lay 7896 z8799 his hand 3027 upon x5921 us both. 8147

 9:34 Let him take y5493 z0 his rod y7626 away 5493 z8686 x7626 from x4480 x5921 me, and let not x408 his fear 367 terrify 1204 z8762 me:

 9:35 [Then] would I speak, 1696 z8762 and not x3808 fear 3372 z8799 him; but x3588 [it is] not x3808 so x3651 with x5978 me.
