Job 17

1 Job appealeth from men to God. 6 The unmerciful dealing of men with the afflicted may astonish, but not discourage the righteous. 11 His hope is not in life, but in death.

 17:1 ¶ My breath 7307 is corrupt, 2254 z8795 my days 3117 are extinct, 2193 z8738 the graves 6913 [are ready] for me.

 17:2 [Are there] not x3808 mockers 2049 with x5978 me? and doth not mine eye 5869 continue 3885 z8799 in their provocation? 4784 z8687

 17:3 Lay down 7760 z8798 now, x4994 put me in a surety 6148 z8798 with x5973 thee; who x4310 [is] he x1931 [that] will strike 8628 z8735 hands 3027 with me?

 17:4 For x3588 thou hast hid 6845 z8804 their heart 3820 from understanding: 7922 x4480 therefore x3651 x5921 shalt thou not x3808 exalt 7311 z8787 [them].

 17:5 He that speaketh 5046 z8686 flattery 2506 to [his] friends, 7453 even the eyes 5869 of his children 1121 shall fail. 3615 z8799
