Exodus 19

1 The people come to Sinai. 3 God's message by Moses unto the people out of the mount. 8 The people's answer returned again. 10 The people are prepared against the third day. 12 The mountain must not be touched. 16 The fearful presence of God upon the mount.

 19:1 ¶ In the third 7992 month, 2320 when the children 1121 of Israel 3478 were gone forth 3318 z8800 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 the same x2088 day 3117 came 935 z8804 they [into] the wilderness 4057 of Sinai. 5514

 19:2 For they were departed 5265 z8799 from Rephidim, 7508 x4480 and were come 935 z8799 [to] the desert 4057 of Sinai, 5514 and had pitched 2583 z8799 in the wilderness; 4057 and there x8033 Israel 3478 camped 2583 z8799 before x5048 the mount. 2022

 19:3 And Moses 4872 went up 5927 z8804 unto x413 God, 430 and the LORD 3068 called 7121 z8799 unto x413 him out of x4480 the mountain, 2022 saying, 559 z8800 Thus x3541 shalt thou say 559 z8799 to the house 1004 of Jacob, 3290 and tell 5046 z8686 the children 1121 of Israel; 3478

 19:4 Ye x859 have seen 7200 z8804 what x834 I did 6213 z8804 unto the Egyptians, 4714 and [how] I bare 5375 z8799 you on x5921 eagles' 5404 wings, 3671 and brought 935 z8686 you unto x413 myself.

 19:5 Now x6258 therefore, if x518 ye will obey y8085 z8799 my voice y6963 indeed, 8085 z8800 x6963 and keep 8104 z8804 x853 my covenant, 1285 then ye shall be x1961 a peculiar treasure 5459 unto me above all x4480 x3605 people: 5971 for x3588 all x3605 the earth 776 [is] mine:

 19:6 And ye x859 shall be x1961 unto me a kingdom 4467 of priests, 3548 and an holy 6918 nation. 1471 These x428 [are] the words 1697 which x834 thou shalt speak 1696 z8762 unto x413 the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 19:7 ¶ And Moses 4872 came 935 z8799 and called 7121 z8799 for the elders 2205 of the people, 5971 and laid 7760 z8799 before their faces 6440 x853 all x3605 these x428 words 1697 which x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 him.

 19:8 And all x3605 the people 5971 answered 6030 z8799 together, 3162 and said, 559 z8799 All x3605 that x834 the LORD 3068 hath spoken 1696 z8765 we will do. 6213 z8799 And Moses 4872 returned 7725 z8686 x853 the words 1697 of the people 5971 unto x413 the LORD. 3068

 19:9 And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Lo, x2009 I x595 come 935 z8802 unto x413 thee in a thick 5645 cloud, 6051 that x5668 the people 5971 may hear 8085 z8799 when I speak 1696 z8763 with x5973 thee, and believe 539 z8686 thee for ever. 5769 And Moses 4872 told 5046 z8686 x853 the words 1697 of the people 5971 unto x413 the LORD. 3068

 19:10 ¶ And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Go y3212 z8798 x1980 unto x413 the people, 5971 and sanctify 6942 z8765 them to day 3117 and to morrow, 4279 and let them wash 3526 z8765 their clothes, 8071

 19:11 And be x1961 ready 3559 z8737 against the third 7992 day: 3117 for x3588 the third 7992 day 3117 the LORD 3068 will come down 3381 z8799 in the sight 5869 of all x3605 the people 5971 upon x5921 mount 2022 Sinai. 5514

 19:12 And thou shalt set bounds 1379 z8689 x853 unto the people 5971 round about, 5439 saying, 559 z8800 Take heed 8104 z8734 to yourselves, [that ye] go [not] up 5927 z8800 into the mount, 2022 or touch 5060 z8800 the border 7097 of it: whosoever x3605 toucheth 5060 z8802 the mount 2022 shall be surely y4191 z8800 put to death: 4191 z8714

 19:13 There shall not x3808 an hand 3027 touch 5060 z8799 it, but x3588 he shall surely y5619 z8800 be stoned, 5619 z8735 or 176 shot y3384 z8735 through; 3384 z8800 whether x518 [it be] beast 929 or 518 man, 376 it shall not x3808 live: 2421 z8799 when the trumpet 3104 soundeth long, 4900 z8800 they x1992 shall come up 5927 z8799 to the mount. 2022

 19:14 ¶ And Moses 4872 went down 3381 z8799 from x4480 the mount 2022 unto x413 the people, 5971 and sanctified 6942 z8762 x853 the people; 5971 and they washed 3526 z8762 their clothes. 8071

 19:15 And he said 559 z8799 unto x413 the people, 5971 Be 1961 z8798 ready 3559 z8737 against the third 7969 day: 3117 come 5066 z8799 not x408 at x413 [your] wives. 802

 19:16 ¶ And it came to pass x1961 on the third 7992 day 3117 in the morning, 1242 that there were x1961 thunders 6963 and lightnings, 1300 and a thick 3515 cloud 6051 upon x5921 the mount, 2022 and the voice 6963 of the trumpet 7782 exceeding 3966 loud; 2389 so that all x3605 the people 5971 that x834 [was] in the camp 4264 trembled. 2729 z8799

 19:17 And Moses 4872 brought forth 3318 z8686 x853 the people 5971 out of x4480 the camp 4264 to meet 7125 z8800 with God; 430 and they stood 3320 z8691 at the nether y8482 part x8482 of the mount. 2022

 19:18 And mount 2022 Sinai 5514 was altogether x3605 on a smoke, 6225 z8804 because 6440 834 x4480 the LORD 3068 descended 3381 z8804 upon x5921 it in fire: 784 and the smoke 6227 thereof ascended 5927 z8799 as the smoke 6227 of a furnace, 3536 and the whole x3605 mount 2022 quaked 2729 z8799 greatly. 3966

 19:19 And when x1961 the voice 6963 of the trumpet 7782 sounded y6963 long, 1980 z8802 and waxed louder y2390 and louder, 3966 x2388 Moses 4872 spake, 1696 z8762 and God 430 answered 6030 z8799 him by a voice. 6963

 19:20 And the LORD 3068 came down 3381 z8799 upon x5921 mount 2022 Sinai, 5514 on x413 the top 7218 of the mount: 2022 and the LORD 3068 called 7121 z8799 Moses 4872 [up] to 413 the top 7218 of the mount; 2022 and Moses 4872 went up. 5927 z8799

 19:21 And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Go down, 3381 z8798 charge 5749 z8685 the people, 5971 lest x6435 they break through 2040 z8799 unto x413 the LORD 3068 to gaze, 7200 z8800 and many 7227 of x4480 them perish. 5307 z8804

 19:22 And let the priests 3548 also, x1571 which come near 5066 z8737 to x413 the LORD, 3068 sanctify y6942 z8691 themselves, x6942 lest x6435 the LORD 3068 break forth 6555 z8799 upon them.

 19:23 And Moses 4872 said 559 z8799 unto x413 the LORD, 3068 The people 5971 cannot 3201 z8799 x3808 come up 5927 z8800 to x413 mount 2022 Sinai: 5514 for x3588 thou x859 chargedst 5749 z8689 us, saying, 559 z8800 Set bounds 1379 z8685 x853 about the mount, 2022 and sanctify 6942 z8765 it.

 19:24 And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Away, y3212 z8798 x1980 get thee down, 3381 z8798 and thou shalt come up, 5927 z8804 thou, x859 and Aaron 175 with x5973 thee: but let not x408 the priests 3548 and the people 5971 break through 2040 z8799 to come up 5927 z8800 unto x413 the LORD, 3068 lest x6435 he break forth 6555 z8799 upon them.

 19:25 So Moses 4872 went down 3381 z8799 unto x413 the people, 5971 and spake 559 z8799 unto x413 them.
