Isaiah 65

1 The calling of the Gentiles. 2 The Jews, for their incredulity, idolatry, and hypocrisy, are rejected. 8 A remnant shall be saved. 11 Judgments on the wicked, and blessings on the godly. 17 The blessed state of the new Jerusalem.

 65:1 ¶ I am sought 1875 z8738 of [them that] asked 7592 z8804 not 3808 [for me]; I am found 4672 z8738 of [them that] sought 1245 z8765 me not: 3808 I said, 559 z8804 Behold x2009 me, behold x2009 me, unto x413 a nation 1471 [that] was not x3808 called 7121 z8795 by my name. 8034

 65:2 I have spread out 6566 z8765 my hands 3027 all x3605 the day 3117 unto x413 a rebellious 5637 z8802 people, 5971 which walketh 1980 z8802 in a way 1870 [that was] not x3808 good, 2896 after 310 their own thoughts; 4284

 65:3 A people 5971 that provoketh me to anger 3707 z8688 x853 continually 8548 to x5921 my face; 6440 that sacrificeth 2076 z8802 in gardens, 1593 and burneth incense 6999 z8764 upon x5921 altars of brick; 3843

 65:4 Which remain 3427 z8802 among the graves, 6913 and lodge 3885 z8799 in the monuments, 5341 z8803 which eat 398 z8802 swine's 2386 flesh, 1320 and broth 4839 z8675 y6564 of abominable 6292 [things is in] their vessels; 3627

 65:5 Which say, 559 z8802 Stand 7126 z8798 by x413 thyself, come not near 5066 z8799 x408 to me; for x3588 I am holier 6942 z8804 than thou. These x428 [are] a smoke 6227 in my nose, 639 a fire 784 that burneth 3344 z8802 all x3605 the day. 3117

 65:6 Behold, x2009 [it is] written 3789 z8803 before 6440 me: I will not x3808 keep silence, 2814 z8799 but x3588 x518 will recompense, 7999 z8765 even recompense 7999 z8765 into x5921 their bosom, 2436

 65:7 Your iniquities, 5771 and the iniquities 5771 of your fathers 1 together, 3162 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 which x834 have burned incense 6999 z8765 upon x5921 the mountains, 2022 and blasphemed 2778 z8765 me upon x5921 the hills: 1389 therefore will I measure 4058 z8804 their former 7223 work 6468 into x413 their bosom. 2436

 65:8 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 As x834 the new wine 8492 is found 4672 z8735 in the cluster, 811 and [one] saith, 559 z8804 Destroy 7843 z8686 it not; x408 for x3588 a blessing 1293 [is] in it: so x3651 will I do 6213 z8799 for my servants' y5650 sakes, x4616 x5650 that I may not x1115 destroy 7843 z8687 them all. x3605

 65:9 And I will bring forth 3318 z8689 a seed 2233 out of Jacob, 3290 x4480 and out of Judah 3063 x4480 an inheritor 3423 z8802 of my mountains: 2022 and mine elect 972 shall inherit 3423 z8804 it, and my servants 5650 shall dwell 7931 z8799 there. x8033

 65:10 And Sharon 8289 shall be x1961 a fold 5116 of flocks, 6629 and the valley 6010 of Achor 5911 a place for the herds 1241 to lie down in, 7258 for my people 5971 that x834 have sought 1875 z8804 me.

 65:11 ¶ But ye x859 [are] they that forsake 5800 z8802 the LORD, 3068 that forget 7913 x853 my holy 6944 mountain, 2022 that prepare 6186 z8802 a table 7979 for that troop, 1408 y1409 z8677 and that furnish 4390 z8764 the drink offering 4469 unto that number. 4507

 65:12 Therefore will I number 4487 z8804 you to the sword, 2719 and ye shall all x3605 bow down 3766 z8799 to the slaughter: 2874 because x3282 when I called, 7121 z8804 ye did not x3808 answer; 6030 z8804 when I spoke, 1696 z8765 ye did not x3808 hear; 8085 z8804 but did 6213 z8799 evil 7451 before mine eyes, 5869 and did choose 977 z8804 [that] wherein x834 I delighted 2654 z8804 not. x3808

 65:13 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD, 3069 Behold, x2009 my servants 5650 shall eat, 398 z8799 but ye x859 shall be hungry: 7456 z8799 behold, x2009 my servants 5650 shall drink, 8354 z8799 but ye x859 shall be thirsty: 6770 z8799 behold, x2009 my servants 5650 shall rejoice, 8055 z8799 but ye x859 shall be ashamed: 954 z8799

 65:14 Behold, x2009 my servants 5650 shall sing 7442 z8799 for joy 2898 x4480 of heart, 3820 but ye x859 shall cry 6817 z8799 for sorrow 3511 x4480 of heart, 3820 and shall howl 3213 z8686 for vexation 7667 x4480 of spirit. 7307

 65:15 And ye shall leave y3240 z8689 x5117 your name 8034 for a curse 7621 unto my chosen: 972 for the Lord 136 GOD 3069 shall slay 4191 z8689 thee, and call 7121 z8799 his servants 5650 by another 312 name: 8034

 65:16 That he who x834 blesseth y1288 z8693 himself x1288 in the earth 776 shall bless y1288 z8691 himself x1288 in the God 430 of truth; 543 and he that sweareth 7650 z8737 in the earth 776 shall swear 7650 z8735 by the God 430 of truth; 543 because x3588 the former 7223 troubles 6869 are forgotten, 7911 z8738 and because x3588 they are hid 5641 z8738 from mine eyes. 5869 x4480

 65:17 ¶ For, x3588 behold, x2009 I create 1254 z8802 new 2319 heavens 8064 and a new 2319 earth: 776 and the former 7223 shall not x3808 be remembered, 2142 z8735 nor x3808 come 5927 z8799 into x5921 mind. 3820

 65:18 But x3588 x518 be ye glad 7797 z8798 and rejoice 1523 z8798 forever 5703 x5704 [in that] which x834 I x589 create: 1254 z8802 for, x3588 behold, x2009 I create 1254 z8802 x853 Jerusalem 3389 a rejoicing, 1525 and her people 5971 a joy. 4885

 65:19 And I will rejoice 1523 z8804 in Jerusalem, 3389 and joy 7797 z8804 in my people: 5971 and the voice 6963 of weeping 1065 shall be no x3808 more x5750 heard 8085 z8735 in her, nor the voice 6963 of crying. 2201

 65:20 There shall be x1961 no x3808 more x5750 thence x4480 x8033 an infant 5764 of days, 3117 nor an old man 2205 that x834 hath not x3808 filled 4390 z8762 x853 his days: 3117 for x3588 the child 5288 shall die 4191 z8799 a hundred 3967 years 8141 old; 1121 but the sinner 2398 z8802 [being] a hundred 3967 years 8141 old 1121 shall be accursed. 7043 z8792

 65:21 And they shall build 1129 z8804 houses, 1004 and inhabit 3427 z8804 [them]; and they shall plant 5193 z8804 vineyards, 3754 and eat 398 z8804 the fruit 6529 of them.

 65:22 They shall not x3808 build, 1129 z8799 and another 312 inhabit; 3427 z8799 they shall not x3808 plant, 5193 z8799 and another 312 eat: 398 z8799 for x3588 as the days 3117 of a tree 6086 [are] the days 3117 of my people, 5971 and mine elect 972 shall long enjoy 1086 z8762 the work 4639 of their hands. 3027

 65:23 They shall not x3808 labor 3021 z8799 in vain, 7385 nor x3808 bring forth 3205 z8799 for trouble; 928 for x3588 they x1992 [are] the seed 2233 of the blessed 1288 z8803 of the LORD, 3068 and their offspring 6631 with x854 them.

 65:24 And it shall come to pass, x1961 that before x2962 they call, 7121 z8799 I x589 will answer; 6030 z8799 and while they x1992 are yet x5750 speaking, 1696 z8764 I x589 will hear. 8085 z8799

 65:25 The wolf 2061 and the lamb 2924 shall feed 7462 z8799 together, 259 and the lion 738 shall eat 398 z8799 straw 8401 like the bullock: 1241 and dust 6083 [shall be] the serpent's 5175 meat. 3899 They shall not x3808 hurt 7489 z8686 nor x3808 destroy 7843 z8686 in all x3605 my holy 6944 mountain, 2022 saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068
