Mark 12

1 In a parable of the vineyard let out to unthankful husbandmen, Christ foretelleth the reprobation of the Jews, and the calling of the Gentiles. 13 He avoideth the snare of the Pharisees and Herodians about paying tribute to Cesar: 18 convinceth the error of the Sadducees, who denied the resurrection: 28 resolveth the scribe, who questioned of the first commandment: 35 refuseth the opinion that the scribes held of Christ: 28 bidding the people to beware of their ambition and hypocrisy: 41 and commendeth the poor widow for her two mites, above all.

 12:1 ¶ And 2532 he began 756 z5662 to speak 3004 z5721 unto them 846 by 1722 parables. 3850 A [certain] man 444 planted 5452 z5656 a vineyard, 290 and 2532 set y4060 z5656 an hedge about 5418 x4060 [it], and 2532 digged 3736 z5656 [a place for] the winefat, 5276 and 2532 built 3618 z5656 a tower, 4444 and 2532 let y1554 z0 it y846 out 1554 z5639 x846 to husbandmen, 1092 and 2532 went into a far country. 589 z5656

 12:2 And 2532 at the x3588 season 2540 he sent 649 z5656 to 4314 the x3588 husbandmen 1092 a servant, 1401 that 2443 he might receive 2983 z5632 from 3844 the x3588 husbandmen 1092 of 575 the x3588 fruit 2590 of the x3588 vineyard. 290

 12:3 And 1161 they x3588 caught 2983 z5631 [him], and beat 1194 z5656 him, 846 and 2532 sent [him] away 649 z5656 empty. 2756

 12:4 And 2532 again 3825 he sent 649 z5656 unto 4314 them 846 another 243 servant; 1401 and at him 2548 they cast stones, 3036 z5660 and wounded [him] in the head, 2775 z5656 and 2532 sent [him] away 649 z5656 shamefully handled. 821 z5772

 12:6 Having 2192 z5723 yet 2089 therefore 3767 one 1520 son, 5207 his y846 x848 wellbeloved, 27 he sent 649 z5656 him 846 also 2532 last 2078 unto 4314 them, 846 saying, 3004 z5723 y3754 They will reverence 1788 z5691 my 3450 son. 5207

 12:7 But 1161 those 1565 husbandmen 1092 said 2036 z5627 among 4314 themselves, 1438 This 3778 y3754 is 2076 z5748 the x3588 heir; 2818 come, 1205 z5773 let us kill 615 z5725 him, 846 and 2532 the x3588 inheritance 2817 shall be 2071 z5704 ours. 2257

 12:8 And 2532 they took 2983 z5631 him, 846 and killed 615 z5656 [him], and 2532 cast 1544 z5627 [him] out x1854 of y1854 the x3588 vineyard. 290

 12:9 What 5101 shall y4160 z0 therefore 3767 the x3588 lord 2962 of the x3588 vineyard 290 do? 4160 z5692 he will come 2064 z5695 and 2532 destroy 622 z5692 the x3588 husbandmen, 1092 and 2532 will give 1325 z5692 the x3588 vineyard 290 unto others. 243

 12:10 And have ye y314 z0 not 3761 read 314 z5627 this 5026 scripture; 1124 The stone 3037 which 3739 the x3588 builders 3618 z5723 rejected 593 z5656 is 3778 y1096 z5675 become y1519 x1096 the x1519 head 2776 of the corner: 1137

 12:11 This 3778 was 1096 z0 the Lord's y2962 doing, 3844 y1096 z5633 x2962 and 2532 it is 2076 z5748 marvellous 2298 in 1722 our y2257 x2254 eyes? 3788

 12:12 And 2532 they sought 2212 z5707 to lay hold y2902 z5658 on x2902 him, 846 but 2532 feared 5399 z5675 the x3588 people: 3793 for 1063 they knew 1097 z5627 that 3754 he had spoken 2036 z5627 the x3588 parable 3850 against 4314 them: 846 and 2532 they left 863 z5631 him, 846 and went their way. 565 z5627

 12:16 And 1161 they x3588 brought 5342 z5656 [it]. And 2532 he saith 3004 z5719 unto them, 846 Whose 5101 [is] this 3778 image 1504 and 2532 superscription? 1923 And 1161 they x3588 said 2036 z5627 unto him, 846 Caesar's. 2541

 12:17 And 2532 Jesus 2424 answering 611 z5679 said 2036 z5627 unto them, 846 Render 591 z5628 to Caesar 2541 the things x3588 that are y3588 Caesar's, 2541 and 2532 to God 2316 the things x3588 that are y3588 God's. 2316 And 2532 they marvelled 2296 z5656 at 1909 him. 846

 12:20 Now there were 2258 z5713 seven 2033 brethren: 80 and 2532 the x3588 first 4413 took 2983 z5627 a wife, 1135 and 2532 dying 599 z5723 left 863 z5656 no 3756 seed. 4690

 12:25 For 1063 when 3752 they shall rise 450 z5632 from 1537 the dead, 3498 they neither 3777 marry, 1060 z5719 nor 3777 are given in marriage; 1061 z5743 but 235 are 1526 z5748 as 5613 the angels 32 which 3588 are in 1722 heaven. 3772

 12:29 And 1161 Jesus 2424 answered 611 z5662 him, 846 The y3754 first 4413 of all 3956 the x3588 commandments 1785 [is], Hear, 191 z5720 O Israel; 2474 The Lord 2962 our 2257 God 2316 is 2076 z5748 one 1520 Lord: 2962

 12:30 And 2532 thou shalt love 25 z5692 the Lord 2962 thy 4675 God 2316 with 1537 all 3650 thy 4675 heart, 2588 and 2532 with 1537 all 3650 thy 4675 soul, 5590 and 2532 with 1537 all 3650 thy 4675 mind, 1271 and 2532 with 1537 all 3650 thy 4675 strength: 2479 this 3778 [is] the first 4413 commandment. 1785

 12:35 ¶ And 2532 Jesus 2424 answered 611 z5679 and said, 3004 z5707 while he taught 1321 z5723 in 1722 the x3588 temple, 2411 How 4459 say 3004 z5719 the x3588 scribes 1122 that 3754 Christ 5547 is 2076 z5748 the Son 5207 of David? 1138

 12:40 Which devour 2719 z5723 widows' 5503 houses, 3614 and 2532 for a pretence 4392 make y4336 z0 long y3117 prayers: 4336 z5740 x3117 these 3778 shall receive 2983 z5695 greater 4055 damnation. 2917

 12:41 ¶ And 2532 Jesus 2424 sat 2523 z5660 over against 2713 the x3588 treasury, 1049 and beheld 2334 z5707 how 4459 the x3588 people 3793 cast 906 z5719 money 5475 into 1519 the x3588 treasury: 1049 and 2532 many 4183 that were rich 4145 cast in 906 z5707 much. 4183

 12:42 And 2532 there came 2064 z5631 a certain 3391 poor 4434 widow, 5503 and she threw in 906 z5627 two 1417 mites, 3016 which make 3603 a farthing. 2835
