Ezekiel 29

1 The judgment of Pharaoh for his treachery to Israel. 8 The desolation of Egypt. 13 The restoration thereof after forty years. 17 Egypt the reward of Nebuchadressar. 21 Israel shall be restored.

 29:1 ¶ In the tenth 6224 year, 8141 in the tenth 6224 [month], in the twelfth 8147 6240 [day] of the month, 2320 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 unto x413 me, saying, 559 z8800

 29:2 Son 1121 of man, 120 set 7760 z8798 thy face 6440 against x5921 Pharaoh 6547 king 4428 of Egypt, 4714 and prophesy 5012 z8734 against x5921 him, and against x5921 all x3605 Egypt: 4714

 29:3 Speak, 1696 z8761 and say, 559 z8804 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Behold, x2009 I [am] against x5921 thee, Pharaoh 6547 king 4428 of Egypt, 4714 the great 1419 dragon 8577 that lieth 7257 z8802 in the midst 8432 of his rivers, 2975 which x834 hath said, 559 z8804 My river 2975 [is] mine own, and I x589 have made 6213 z8804 [it] for myself.

 29:4 But I will put 5414 z8804 hooks 2397 z8676 in thy jaws, 3895 and I will cause the fish 1710 of thy rivers 2975 to stick 1692 z8689 unto thy scales, 7193 and I will bring thee up 5927 z8689 out of the midst 8432 x4480 of thy rivers, 2975 and all x3605 the fish 1710 of thy rivers 2975 shall stick 1692 z8799 unto thy scales. 7193

 29:5 And I will leave 5203 z8804 thee [thrown] into the wilderness, 4057 thee and all x3605 the fish 1710 of thy rivers: 2975 thou shalt fall 5307 z8799 upon x5921 the open 6440 fields; 7704 thou shalt not x3808 be brought together, 622 z8735 nor x3808 gathered: 6908 z8735 I have given 5414 z8804 thee for meat 402 to the beasts 2416 of the field 776 and to the fowls 5775 of the heaven. 8064

 29:6 And all x3605 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Egypt 4714 shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 because x3282 they have been x1961 a staff 4938 of reed 7070 to the house 1004 of Israel. 3478

 29:7 When they took hold 8610 z8800 of thee by thy hand, 3709 thou didst break, 7533 z8735 and rend 1234 z8804 all x3605 their shoulder: 3802 and when they leaned 8172 z8736 upon x5921 thee, thou brakest, 7665 z8735 and madest all x3605 their loins 4975 to be at a stand. 5976 z8689

 29:8 ¶ Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Behold, x2009 I will bring 935 z8688 a sword 2719 upon x5921 thee, and cut off 3772 z8689 man 120 and beast 929 out of x4480 thee.

 29:9 And the land 776 of Egypt 4714 shall be x1961 desolate 8077 and waste; 2723 and they shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD: 3068 because x3282 he hath said, 559 z8804 The river 2975 [is] mine, and I x589 have made 6213 z8804 [it].

 29:10 Behold, x2009 therefore x3651 I [am] against x413 thee, and against x413 thy rivers, 2975 and I will make 5414 z8804 x853 the land 776 of Egypt 4714 utterly y2721 waste 2723 x2721 [and] desolate, 8077 from the tower 4024 x4480 of Syene 5482 even unto x5704 the border 1366 of Ethiopia. 3568

 29:11 No x3808 foot 7272 of man 120 shall pass x5674 through y5674 z8799 it, nor x3808 foot 7272 of beast 929 shall pass x5674 through y5674 z8799 it, neither x3808 shall it be inhabited 3427 z8799 forty 705 years. 8141

 29:12 And I will make 5414 z8804 x853 the land 776 of Egypt 4714 desolate 8077 in the midst 8432 of the countries 776 [that are] desolate, 8074 z8737 and her cities 5892 among 8432 the cities 5892 [that are] laid waste 2717 z8716 shall be x1961 desolate 8077 forty 705 years: 8141 and I will scatter 6327 z8689 x853 the Egyptians 4714 among the nations, 1471 and will disperse 2219 z8765 them through the countries. 776

 29:13 ¶ Yet x3588 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 At the end 7093 x4480 of forty 705 years 8141 will I gather 6908 z8762 x853 the Egyptians 4714 from x4480 the people 5971 whither x834 x8033 they were scattered: 6327 z8738

 29:14 And I will bring again 7725 z8804 x853 the captivity 7622 of Egypt, 4714 and will cause them to return 7725 z8689 [into] the land 776 of Pathros, 6624 into x5921 the land 776 of their habitation; 4351 and they shall be x1961 there x8033 a base 8217 kingdom. 4467

 29:15 It shall be x1961 the basest 8217 of x4480 the kingdoms; 4467 neither x3808 shall it exalt y5375 z8691 itself x5375 any more x5750 above x5921 the nations: 1471 for I will diminish 4591 z8689 them, that they shall no more x1115 rule 7287 z8800 over the nations. 1471

 29:16 And it shall be x1961 no x3808 more x5750 the confidence 4009 of the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 which bringeth y2142 z0 [their] iniquity y5771 to remembrance, 2142 z8688 x5771 when they shall look 6437 z8800 after 310 them: but they shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 29:17 ¶ And it came to pass x1961 in the seven 7651 and twentieth 6242 year, 8141 in the first 7223 [month], in the first 259 [day] of the month, 2320 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 unto x413 me, saying, 559 z8800

 29:18 Son 1121 of man, 120 Nebuchadrezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894 caused y5647 z0 x853 his army 2428 to serve 5647 z8689 a great 1419 service 5656 against x413 Tyrus: 6865 every x3605 head 7218 [was] made bald, 7139 z8716 and every x3605 shoulder 3802 [was] peeled: 4803 z8803 yet had x1961 he no x3808 wages, 7939 nor his army, 2428 for Tyrus, 6865 x4480 for x5921 the service 5656 that x834 he had served 5647 z8804 against x5921 it:

 29:19 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Behold, x2009 I will give 5414 z8802 x853 the land 776 of Egypt 4714 unto Nebuchadrezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon; 894 and he shall take 5375 z8804 her multitude, 1995 and take 7997 z8804 her spoil, 7998 and take 962 z8804 her prey; 957 and it shall be x1961 the wages 7939 for his army. 2428

 29:20 I have given 5414 z8804 him x853 the land 776 of Egypt 4714 [for] his labour 6468 wherewith x834 he served 5647 z8804 against it, because x834 they wrought 6213 z8804 for me, saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 29:21 ¶ In that x1931 day 3117 will I cause y6779 z0 the horn 7161 of the house 1004 of Israel 3478 to bud forth, 6779 z8686 and I will give 5414 z8799 thee the opening 6610 of the mouth 6310 in the midst 8432 of them; and they shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD. 3068
