1 A sharp reproof of Jerusalem for divers sins. 8 An exhortation to wait for the restoration of Israel, 14 and to rejoice for their salvation by God.

3:3 Her princes 8269 within 7130 her are roaring 7580 z8802 lyons; 738 her Iudges 8199 z8802 [are] euening 6153 wolues, 2061 they gnaw not the bones 1633 z8804 x3808 till the morrow. 1242

3:4 Her prophets 5030 are light 6348 z8802 [and] treacherous 900 persons: y582 x376 her priests 3548 haue polluted 2490 z8765 the Sanctuarie, 6944 they haue done violence 2554 z8804 to the Law. 8451

3:5 The iust 6662 LORD 3068 [is] in the middest 7130 thereof: he will not x3808 doe 6213 z8799 iniquitie: 5766 euery y1242 morning 1242 doeth hee bring 5414 z8799 his iudgement 4941 to light, 216 he faileth 5737 z8738 not: x3808 but the vniust 5767 knoweth 3045 z8802 no x3808 shame. 1322

3:6 I haue cut off 3772 z8689 the nations: 1471 their towres 6438 are desolate, 8074 z8738 I made their streetes y2351 waste, 2717 z8689 x2351 that none x4480 x1097 passeth by: 5674 z8802 their cities 5892 are destroied, 6658 z8738 so that there is no x4480 x1097 man, 376 that there is none x4480 x369 inhabitant. 3427 z8802

3:7 I said, 559 z8804 Surely x389 thou wilt feare 3372 z8799 mee: thou wilt receiue 3947 z8799 instruction: 4148 so their dwelling 4583 should not x3808 bee cut off, 3772 z8735 howsoeuer 834 3605 I punished 6485 z8804 x5921 them: but 403 they rose early, 7925 z8689 [&] corrupted 7843 z8689 all x3605 their doings. 5949

3:8 ¶ Therefore x3651 waite 2442 z8761 ye vpon mee, sayth 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 vntill the day 3117 that I rise vp 6965 z8800 to the pray: 5706 for x3588 my determination 4941 [is] to gather 622 z8800 the nations, 1471 that I may assemble 6908 z8800 the kingdomes 4467 to powre 8210 z8800 vpon x5921 them mine indignation, 2195 [euen] all x3605 my fierce 2740 anger: 639 for x3588 all x3605 the earth 776 shalbe deuoured 398 z8735 with the fire 784 of my iealousie. 7068

3:10 From beyond 5676 x4480 the riuers 5104 of Ethiopia, 3568 my suppliants, 6282 [euen] the daughter 1323 of my dispersed 6327 z8803 shal bring 2986 z8686 mine offring. 4503

3:11 In that x1931 day 3117 shalt thou not x3808 be ashamed 954 z8799 for all x4480 x3605 thy doings, 5949 wherein x834 thou hast transgressed 6586 z8804 against me: for x3588 then x227 I will take away 5493 z8686 out of the midst 7130 x4480 of thee them that reioyce 5947 in thy pride, 1346 and thou shalt no x3808 more 3254 z8686 x5750 be haughty 1361 z8800 because of mine holy 6944 mountaine. 2022

3:12 I will also leaue 7604 z8689 in the middest 7130 of thee an afflicted 6041 and poore 1800 people: 5971 and they shall trust 2620 z8804 in the Name 8034 of the LORD. 3068

3:13 The remnant 7611 of Israel 3478 shall not x3808 doe 6213 z8799 iniquitie, 5766 nor x3808 speake 1696 z8762 lies: 3577 neither x3808 shall a deceitful 8649 tongue 3956 be found 4672 z8735 in their mouth: 6310 for x3588 they x1992 shall feede, 7462 z8799 and lie downe, 7257 z8804 and none x369 shall make [them] afraid. 2729 z8688

3:14 ¶ Sing, 7442 z8798 O daughter 1323 of Zion: 6726 shout, 7321 z8685 O Israel: 3478 be glad 8055 z8798 and reioyce 5937 z8798 with all x3605 the heart, 3820 O daughter 1323 of Ierusalem. 3389

3:15 The LORD 3068 hath taken away 5493 z8689 thy iudgements, 4941 he hath cast out 6437 z8765 thine enemy: 341 z8802 the King 4428 of Israel, 3478 [euen] the LORD 3068 [is] in the middest 7130 of thee: thou shalt not x3808 see 7200 z8799 euill 7451 any more. x5750

3:16 In that x1931 day 3117 it shall be said 559 z8735 to Ierusalem, 3389 Feare 3372 z8799 thou not: x408 [and] to Zion, 6726 Let not x408 thine hands 3027 be slacke. 7503 z8799

3:17 The LORD 3068 thy God 430 in the midst 7130 of thee [is] mightie: 1368 hee will saue, 3467 z8686 he will reioyce 7797 z8799 ouer x5921 thee with ioy: 8057 hee will rest 2790 z8686 in his loue, 160 hee will ioy 1523 z8799 ouer x5921 thee with singing. 7440

3:18 I will gather 622 z8804 them that are sorrowfull 3013 z8737 for the solemne assembly, 4150 x4480 who are x1961 of x4480 thee, [to whom] the reproch 2781 of x5921 it [was] a burden. 4864

3:19 Behold, x2009 at that x1931 time 6256 I will vndoe 6213 z8802 x853 all x3605 that afflict 6031 z8764 thee, and I will saue 3467 z8689 x853 her that halteth, 6760 z8802 and gather 6908 z8762 her that was driuen out, 5080 z8737 and I will get 7760 z8804 them praise 8416 and fame 8034 in euery x3605 land, 776 where they haue beene put to shame. 1322

3:20 At that x1931 time 6256 will I bring 935 z8686 you [againe] euen in the time 6256 that I gather 6908 z8763 you: for x3588 I will make 5414 z8799 you a name 8034 and a praise 8416 among all x3605 people 5971 of the earth, 776 when I turne backe 7725 z8800 x853 your captiuitie 7622 before your eyes, 5869 saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068
