Haggai 1

1 Haggai reproveth the people for neglecting the building of the house. 7 He inciteth them to the building. 12 He promiseth God's assistance to them being forward.

 1:1 ¶ In the second 8147 yeere 8141 of Darius 1867 the king, 4428 in the sixt 8345 moneth, 2320 in the first 259 day 3117 of the moneth 2320 came x1961 the worde 1697 of the LORD 3068 by 3027 Haggai 2292 the Prophet 5030 vnto x413 Zerubbabel 2216 the sonne 1121 of Shealtiel, 7597 gouernour 6346 of Iudah, 3063 and to x413 Iosuah 3091 the sonne 1121 of Iosedech 3087 the high 1419 priest, 3548 saying; 559 z8800

 1:2 Thus x3541 speaketh 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 saying; 559 z8800 This x2088 people 5971 say, 559 z8804 The time 6256 is not x3808 come, 935 z8800 the time 6256 that the LORDS 3068 house 1004 should be built. 1129 z8736

 1:3 Then came x1961 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 by 3027 Haggai 2292 the prophet, 5030 saying; 559 z8800

 1:4 [Is it] time 6256 for you, O yee, x859 to dwell 3427 z8800 in your sieled 5603 z8803 houses, 1004 and this x2088 house 1004 lie waste? 2720

 1:5 Nowe x6258 therefore thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes; 6635 Consider 7760 3824 z8798 x5921 your wayes. 1870

 1:6 Yee haue sowen 2232 z8804 much 7235 z8687 and bring y935 z8687 in x935 litle: 4592 ye eate, 398 z8800 but ye haue not inough: y7654 x369 x7646 yee drinke, 8354 z8800 but yee are not filled with drinke: 7937 z8800 x369 yee cloth 3847 z8800 you, but there is none warme: y2527 x369 x2552 and hee that earneth wages, 7936 z8693 earneth wages 7936 z8693 [to put it] into x413 a bag 6872 with holes. 5344 z8803

 1:7 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 Consider 7760 3824 z8798 x5921 your wayes. 1870

 1:8 Goe vp 5927 z8798 to the mountaine, 2022 and bring 935 z8689 wood, 6086 and build 1129 z8798 the house; 1004 and I will take pleasure 7521 z8799 in it, and I will be glorified, 3513 z8735 saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068

 1:9 Ye looked 6437 z8800 for x413 much, 7235 z8687 and loe x2009 [it came] to litle: 4592 and when yee brought 935 z8689 it home, 1004 I did blow 5301 z8804 vpon it: Why, x3282 x4100 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD 3068 of hostes? 6635 because 3282 of mine house 1004 that x834 is waste, 2720 and yee x859 runne 7323 z8801 euery man 376 vnto his owne house. 1004

 1:10 Therefore x5921 x3651 the heauen 8064 ouer x5921 you is stayed 3607 z8804 from dew, 2919 x4480 and the earth 776 is staied 3607 z8804 [from] her fruite. 2981

 1:11 And I called 7121 z8799 for a drought 2721 vpon x5921 the land 776 and vpon x5921 the mountaines, 2022 and vpon x5921 the corne, 1715 and vpon x5921 the new wine, 8492 and vpon x5921 the oyle, 3323 and vpon x5921 that which x834 the ground 127 bringeth forth, 3318 z8686 & vpon x5921 men, 120 and vpon x5921 cattell, 929 and vpon x5921 all x3605 the labour 3018 of the hands. 3709

 1:12 ¶ Then Zerubbabel 2216 the sonne 1121 of Shealtiel, 7597 and Iosuah 3091 the sonne 1121 of Iosedech 3087 the high 1419 priest, 3548 with all x3605 the remnant 7611 of the people 5971 obeyed 8085 z8799 the voyce 6963 of the LORD 3068 their God, 430 and the words 1697 of Haggai 2292 the Prophet 5030 (as x834 the LORD 3068 their God 430 had sent 7971 z8804 him) and the people 5971 did feare 3372 z8799 before 6440 x4480 the LORD. 3068

 1:13 Then spake 559 z8799 Haggai 2292 the LORDS 3068 messenger 4397 in the LORDS 3068 message 4400 vnto the people, 5971 saying; 559 z8800 I x589 [am] with x854 you, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068
