7:7 And there went vp 5927 z8799 [some] of the children 1121 x4480 of Israel, 3478 and of x4480 the Priests, 3548 and the Leuites, 3881 and the Singers, 7891 z8789 and the Porters, 7778 and the Nethinims, 5411 vnto x413 Ierusalem, 3389 in the seuenth 7651 yeere 8141 of Artaxerxes 783 the king. 4428

7:8 And he came 935 z8799 to Ierusalem 3389 in the fifth 2549 moneth, 2320 which x1931 [was] in the seuenth 7637 yeere 8141 of the king. 4428

7:9 For x3588 vpon the first 259 [day] of the first 7223 moneth, 2320 began 3246 he x1931 to go vp 4609 fro Babylon, 894 x4480 and on the first 259 [day] of the fifth 2549 moneth, 2320 came 935 z8804 he to x413 Ierusalem, 3389 according to the good 2896 hand 3027 of his God 430 vpon x5921 him.

7:10 For x3588 Ezra 5830 had prepared 3559 z8689 his heart 3824 to seeke 1875 z8800 x853 the Law 8451 of the LORD, 3068 and to doe 6213 z8800 [it], and to teach 3925 z8763 in Israel, 3478 Statutes 2706 and Iudgements. 4941

7:13 I y4481 make 7761 z8752 a decree, 2942 that x1768 all 3606 they of 4481 the people 5972 of Israel, 3479 and of his Priests, 3549 and Leuites 3879 in my Realme, 4437 which are minded of their owne free-will 5069 z8723 to goe vp 1946 z8749 to Ierusalem, 3390 goe 1946 z8748 with x5974 thee. y5974

7:14 Forasmuch 1768 6903 x3606 as y3606 thou art sent 7972 z8750 of 4481 6925 the king, 4430 and of his seuen 7655 counsellers, 3272 z8750 to enquire 1240 z8742 concerning 5922 Iudah 3061 and Ierusalem, 3390 according to the Lawe 1882 of thy God, 426 which x1768 [is] in thine hand; 3028

7:15 And to cary 2987 z8682 the siluer 3702 and gold, 1722 which x1768 the king 4430 and his counsellers 3272 z8750 haue freely offered 5069 z8724 vnto the God 426 of Israel, 3479 whose 1768 habitation 4907 [is] in Ierusalem. 3390

7:16 And all 3606 the siluer 3702 and gold, 1722 that x1768 thou canst find 7912 z8681 in all 3606 the prouince 4083 of Babylon, 895 with 5974 the free-will offering 5069 z8722 of the people, y5972 x5974 and of the priests, 3549 offering willingly 5069 z8723 for the house 1005 of their God, 426 which x1768 [is] in Ierusalem: 3390

7:17 That 3606 6903 x1836 thou maiest buy 7066 z8748 speedily 629 with this 1836 money, 3702 bullockes, 8450 rammes, 1798 lambes, 563 with their meate offerings, 4504 and their drinke offerings, 5261 and offer 7127 z8741 them 1994 vpon 5922 the altar 4056 of x1768 the house 1005 of your God, 426 which x1768 [is] in Ierusalem. 3390

7:18 And whatsoeuer 4101 1768 shall seeme good 3191 z8748 to x5922 thee, and to 5922 thy brethren, 252 to doe 5648 z8749 with the rest 7606 of the siluer 3702 and gold; 1722 that doe, 5648 z8748 after the will 7470 of your God. 426

7:19 The vessels 3984 also that x1768 are giuen 3052 z8727 thee, for the seruice 6402 of the house 1005 of thy God, 426 those deliuer 8000 z8680 thou before 6925 the God 426 of Ierusalem. 3390

7:20 And whatsoeuer more 7606 shall be needfull 2819 for the house 1005 of thy God, 426 which x1768 thou shalt haue occasion 5308 z8748 to bestowe; 5415 z8749 bestowe 5415 z8748 it out of 4481 the kings 4430 treasure 1596 house. 1005

7:21 And I, y4481 [euen] I 576 Artaxerxes 783 the king, 4430 doe make 7761 z8752 a decree 2942 to all 3606 the treasurers 1490 which x1768 [are] beyond 5675 the riuer, 5103 that x1768 whatsoeuer x3606 x1768 Ezra 5831 the priest, 3549 the scribe 5613 of the law 1882 of x1768 the God 426 of heauen, 8065 shall require 7593 z8748 of you, it be done 5648 z8725 speedily, 629

7:22 Unto 5705 an hundred 3969 talents 3604 of siluer, 3702 and to x5705 an hundred 3969 measures 3734 of wheate, 2591 and to x5705 an hundred 3969 bathes 1325 of wine, 2562 and to x5705 an hundred 3969 bathes 1325 of oyle, 4887 and salt, 4416 without 3809 x1768 prescribing 3792 [how much].

7:23 Whatsoeuer 3606 x1768 is commanded x2941 by 4481 y2941 the God 426 of heauen, 8065 let it be diligently 149 done, 5648 z8725 for the house 1005 of the God 426 of heauen: 8065 for 1768 why 4101 should there be 1934 z8748 wrath 7109 against 5922 the realme 4437 of the king 4430 and his sonnes? 1123

7:24 Also we certifie 3046 z8683 you, that x1768 touching any 3606 of the priests, 3549 and Leuites, 3879 singers, 2171 porters, 8652 Nethinims, 5412 or ministers 6399 z8750 of this 1836 house 1005 of God, 426 it shall not 3809 be lawfull 7990 to impose 7412 z8749 tolle, 4061 tribute, 1093 or custome 1983 vpon 5922 them.

7:25 And thou, 607 Ezra, 5831 after the wisdome 2452 of thy God, 426 that x1768 [is] in thine hand, 3028 set 4483 z8740 magistrates 8200 z8751 and iudges, 1782 which x1768 may x1934 iudge y1934 z8748 y1778 z8751 x1780 all 3606 the people, 5972 that x1768 [are] beyond 5675 the riuer, 5103 all 3606 such as know 3046 z8751 the lawes 1882 of thy God, 426 and teach 3046 z8681 yee them that x1768 knowe 3046 z8751 [them] not. 3809

7:26 And whosoeuer 3606 x1768 will x1934 not 3809 doe 5648 y1934 z8748 z8751 the law 1882 of x1768 thy God, 426 and the law 1882 of x1768 the king, 4430 let x1934 iudgement 1780 be y1934 z8748 executed 5648 z8727 speedily 629 vpon x4481 him, y4481 whether 2006 it be vnto death, 4193 or 2006 to banishment, 8332 or 2006 to confiscation 6065 of goods, 5232 or to imprisonment. 613

7:27 ¶ Blessed 1288 z8803 be the LORD 3068 God 430 of our fathers, 1 which x834 hath put 5414 z8804 [such a thing] as this, x2063 in the kings 4428 heart, 3820 to beautifie 6286 z8763 x853 the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 which x834 [is] in Ierusalem: 3389

7:28 And hath extended 5186 z8689 mercy 2617 vnto x5921 me, before 6440 the king 4428 and his counsellers, 3289 z8802 and before all x3605 the kings 4428 mighty 1368 princes, 8269 and I x589 was strengthned 2388 z8694 as the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 my God 430 [was] vpon x5921 me, and I gathered together 6908 z8799 out of Israel, 3478 x4480 chiefe men 7218 to goe vp 5927 z8800 with x5973 me.
