1 The proclamation of Cyrus for the building of the Temple. 5 The people provide for the return. 7 Cyrus restoreth the vessels of the Temple to Sheshbazzar.

 1:1 ¶ Now in the first 259 yeere 8141 of Cyrus 3566 King 4428 of Persia, 6539 (that the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 by the mouth 6310 x4480 of Ieremiah, 3414 might be fulfilled) 3615 z8800 ye LORD 3068 stirred vp 5782 z8689 x853 the spirit 7307 of Cyrus 3566 king 4428 of Persia, 6539 that he made a proclamation 5674 6963 z8686 throughout all x3605 his kingdome, 4438 and [put it] also x1571 in writing, 4385 saying; 559 z8800

 1:2 Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 Cyrus 3566 king 4428 of Persia, 6539 The LORD 3068 God 430 of heauen 8064 hath giuen 5414 z8804 mee all x3605 the kingdomes 4467 of the earth, 776 and he x1931 hath charged 6485 z8804 x5921 me to build 1129 z8800 him an house 1004 at Ierusalem, 3389 which x834 [is] in Iudah. 3063

 1:3 Who x4310 [is] there among you of all x4480 x3605 his people? 5971 his God 430 be x1961 with x5973 him, and let him goe vp 5927 z8799 to Ierusalem, 3389 which x834 is in Iudah, 3063 and build 1129 z8799 x853 the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel 3478 (He x1931 [is] the God) 430 which x834 [is] in Ierusalem. 3389

 1:4 And whosoeuer x3605 remaineth 7604 z8737 in any x4480 x3605 place 4725 where x834 hee x1931 soiourneth, 1481 z8802 let the men y582 x376 of his place 4725 helpe 5375 z8762 him with siluer, 3701 and with golde, 2091 and with goods, 7399 and with beasts, 929 besides x5973 the free-will offering 5071 for the house 1004 of God 430 that x834 is in Ierusalem. 3389

 1:5 ¶ Then rose vp 6965 z8799 the chiefe 7218 of the fathers 1 of Iudah 3063 and Beniamin, 1144 and the Priests, 3548 and the Leuites, 3881 with all x3605 [them] x853 whose spirit 7307 God 430 had raised 5782 z8689 to goe vp, 5927 z8800 to build 1129 z8800 x853 the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 which x834 is in Ierusalem. 3389

 1:6 And all x3605 they that [were] about 5439 them, strengthened 2388 z8765 their hands 3027 with vessels 3627 of siluer, 3701 with golde, 2091 with goods, 7399 and with beasts, 929 and with precious things; 4030 besides all x905 x5921 x3605 [that] was willingly offered. 5068 z8692

 1:7 ¶ Also Cyrus 3566 the king 4428 brought foorth 3318 z8689 x853 the vessels 3627 of the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 which x834 Nebuchadnezzar 5019 had brought foorth 3318 z8689 out of Ierusalem, 3389 x4480 and had put 5414 z8799 them in the house 1004 of his gods: 430

 1:8 Euen those did Cyrus 3566 king 4428 of Persia 6539 bring foorth, 3318 z8686 by x5921 the hand 3027 of Mithredath 4990 the treasurer, 1489 and numbred 5608 z8799 them vnto Sheshbazzar 8339 the Prince 5387 of Iudah. 3063

 1:9 And this x428 [is] the number 4557 of them: thirtie 7970 chargers 105 of golde, 2091 a thousand 505 chargers 105 of siluer, 3701 nine 8672 and twentie 6242 kniues: 4252

 1:10 Thirtie 7970 basins 3713 of golde: 2091 siluer 3701 basins 3713 of a second 4932 sort, foure 702 hundred 3967 and ten: 6235 [and] other 312 vessels 3627 a thousand. 505

 1:11 All x3605 the vessels 3627 of golde 2091 and of siluer, 3701 [were] fiue 2568 thousand 505 and foure 702 hundred. 3967 All x3605 [these] did Sheshbazzar 8339 bring vp 5927 z8689 with x5973 [them of] the captiuitie, 1473 that were brought vp 5927 z8736 from Babylon 894 x4480 vnto Ierusalem. 3389
