Proverbs 28

General observations of impiety and religious integrity.

 28:1 ¶ The wicked 7563 flee 5127 z8804 when no x369 man pursueth: 7291 z8802 but the righteous 6662 are bold 982 z8799 as a lion. 3715

 28:2 For the transgression 6588 of a land 776 many 7227 [are] the princes 8269 thereof: but by a man 120 of understanding 995 z8688 [and] knowledge 3045 z8802 the state 3651 [thereof] shall be prolonged. 748 z8686

 28:3 A poor 7326 z8802 man 1397 that oppresseth 6231 z8802 the poor 1800 [is like] a sweeping 5502 z8802 rain 4306 which leaveth no x369 food. 3899

 28:4 They that forsake 5800 z8802 the law 8451 praise 1984 z8762 the wicked: 7563 but such as keep 8104 z8802 the law 8451 contend 1624 z8691 with them.

 28:7 Whoso keepeth 5341 z8802 the law 8451 [is] a wise 995 z8688 son: 1121 but he that is a companion 7462 z8802 of riotous 2151 z8802 [men] shameth 3637 z8686 his father. 1

 28:8 He that by usury 5392 and unjust gain 8636 increaseth 7235 z8688 his substance, 1952 he shall gather 6908 z8762 it for him that will pity 2603 z8802 the poor. 1800
