1 Azariah his good reign. 5 He dying a leper, Jotham succeedeth. 8 Zachariah, the last of Jehu's generation, reigning ill, is slain by Shallum. 13 Shallum, reigning a month, is slain by Menahem. 16 Menahem strengtheneth himself by Pul. 21 Pekahiah succeedeth him. 23 Pekahiah is slain by Pekah. 27 Pekah is oppressed by Tiglath-pileser, and slain by Hoshea. 32 Jotham's good reign. 36 Ahaz succeedeth him.

 15:1 ¶ In the twenty 6242 y8141 and seventh 7651 year 8141 of Jeroboam 3379 king 4428 of Israel 3478 began Azariah 5838 son 1121 of Amaziah 558 king 4428 of Judah 3063 to reign. 4427 z8804

 15:2 Sixteen 6240 y8337 x8334 years 8141 old 1121 was x1961 he when he began to reign, 4427 z8800 and he reigned 4427 z8804 two 8147 and fifty 2572 years 8141 in Jerusalem. 3389 And his mother's 517 name 8034 [was] Jecholiah 3203 of Jerusalem. 3389 x4480

 15:14 For Menahem 4505 the son 1121 of Gadi 1424 went up 5927 z8799 from Tirzah, 8656 x4480 and came 935 z8799 to Samaria, 8111 and smote 5221 z8686 x853 Shallum 7967 the son 1121 of Jabesh 3003 in Samaria, 8111 and slew 4191 z8686 him, and reigned 4427 z8799 in his stead. x8478

 15:23 ¶ In the fiftieth 2572 y8141 year 8141 of Azariah 5838 king 4428 of Judah 3063 Pekahiah 6494 the son 1121 of Menahem 4505 began to reign 4427 z8804 over x5921 Israel 3478 in Samaria, 8111 [and reigned] two years. 8141

 15:24 And he did 6213 z8799 [that which was] evil 7451 in the sight 5869 of the LORD: 3068 he departed 5493 z8804 not x3808 from the sins 2403 x4480 of Jeroboam 3379 the son 1121 of Nebat, 5028 who x834 made x853 Israel 3478 to sin. 2398 z8689

 15:25 But Pekah 6492 the son 1121 of Remaliah, 7425 a captain 7991 of his, conspired 7194 z8799 against x5921 him, and smote 5221 z8686 him in Samaria, 8111 in the palace 759 of the king's 4428 house, 1004 with x854 Argob 709 and x854 Arieh, 745 and with x5973 him fifty 2572 men 376 of the Gileadites: 1121 1569 x4480 and he killed 4191 z8686 him, and reigned 4427 z8799 in his room. x8478

 15:28 And he did 6213 z8799 [that which was] evil 7451 in the sight 5869 of the LORD: 3068 he departed 5493 z8804 not x3808 from x4480 the sins 2403 of Jeroboam 3379 the son 1121 of Nebat, 5028 who x834 made x853 Israel 3478 to sin. 2398 z8689

 15:29 In the days 3117 of Pekah 6492 king 4428 of Israel 3478 came 935 z8804 Tiglathpileser 8407 king 4428 of Assyria, 804 and took 3947 z8799 x853 Ijon, 5859 and Abelbethmaachah, 62 and Janoah, 3239 and Kedesh, 6943 and Hazor, 2674 and Gilead, 1568 and Galilee, 1551 all x3605 the land 776 of Naphtali, 5321 and carried them captive 1540 z8686 to Assyria. 804

 15:32 ¶ In the second 8147 year 8141 of Pekah 6492 the son 1121 of Remaliah 7425 king 4428 of Israel 3478 began Jotham 3147 the son 1121 of Uzziah 5818 king 4428 of Judah 3063 to reign. 4427 z8804

 15:33 Five 2568 and twenty 6242 years 8141 old 1121 was x1961 he when he began to reign, 4427 z8800 and he reigned 4427 z8804 sixteen 8337 6240 years 8141 in Jerusalem. 3389 And his mother's 517 name 8034 [was] Jerusha, 3388 the daughter 1323 of Zadok. 6659

 15:36 ¶ Now the rest 3499 of the acts 1697 of Jotham, 3147 and all that x834 he did, 6213 z8804 [are] they x1992 not x3808 written 3789 z8803 in x5921 the book 5612 of the chronicles 1697 3117 of the kings 4428 of Judah? 3063

 15:37 In those x1992 days 3117 the LORD 3068 began 2490 z8689 to send 7971 z8687 against Judah 3063 Rezin 7526 the king 4428 of Syria, 758 and Pekah 6492 the son 1121 of Remaliah. 7425

 15:38 And Jotham 3147 slept 7901 z8799 with x5973 his fathers, 1 and was buried 6912 z8735 with x5973 his fathers 1 in the city 5892 of David 1732 his father: 1 and Ahaz 271 his son 1121 reigned 4427 z8799 in his stead. x8478
