1 Ruth gleaneth in the fields of Boaz. 4 Boaz taking knowledge of her, 8 sheweth her great favour. 18 That which she got, she carrieth to Naomi.

2:1 ¶ And Naomi 5281 had a kinseman 4129 z8675 y3045 z8794 of her husbands, 376 a mighty 1368 man 376 of wealth, 2428 of the familie 4940 x4480 of Elimelech, 458 and his name 8034 was Boaz. 1162

2:2 And Ruth 7327 the Moabitesse 4125 saide 559 z8799 vnto x413 Naomi, 5281 Let me now x4994 goe y3212 z8799 x1980 to the field, 7704 and gleane 3950 z8762 eares of corne 7641 after 310 x834 [him], in whose sight 5869 I shall finde 4672 z8799 grace. 2580 And shee saide 559 z8799 vnto her, Goe, y3212 z8798 x1980 my daughter. 1323

2:3 And she went, y3212 z8799 x1980 and came, 935 z8799 and gleaned 3950 z8762 in the field 7704 after 310 the reapers: 7114 z8802 and her happe 4745 was to light 7136 z8799 on a part 2513 of the fielde 7704 [belonging] vnto Boaz, 1162 who x834 [was] of the kinred 4940 x4480 of Elimelech. 458

2:4 ¶ And behold, x2009 Boaz 1162 came 935 z8802 from Bethlehem, 1035 x4480 and said 559 z8799 vnto the reapers, 7114 z8802 The LORD 3068 [bee] with x5973 you; and they answered 559 z8799 him, The LORD 3068 blesse 1288 z8762 thee.

2:5 Then said 559 z8799 Boaz 1162 vnto his seruant, 5288 that was set 5324 z8737 ouer x5921 the reapers, 7114 z8802 Whose x4310 damosell 5291 [is] this? x2063

2:6 And the seruaunt 5288 that was set 5324 z8737 ouer x5921 the reapers, 7114 z8802 answered 6030 z8799 and said, 559 z8799 It x1931 is the Moabitish 4125 damosell 5291 that came backe 7725 z8804 with x5973 Naomi 5281 out of the countrey 7704 x4480 of Moab: 4124

2:7 And she said, 559 z8799 I pray x4994 you, let mee gleane 3950 z8762 and gather 622 z8804 after 310 the reapers 7114 z8802 amongst the sheaues: 6016 so shee came, 935 z8799 and hath continued 5975 z8799 euen y227 from x4480 x227 the morning 1242 vntill x5704 now, x6258 [that] x2088 she taried 3427 z8800 a little 4592 in the house. 1004

2:8 Then said 559 z8799 Boaz 1162 vnto x413 Ruth, 7327 Hearest 8085 z8804 thou not, x3808 my daughter? 1323 Goe y3212 z8799 x1980 not x408 to gleane 3950 z8800 in another 312 field, 7704 neither x1571 x3808 goe 5674 z8799 from hence, x4480 x2088 but x3541 abide 1692 z8799 here fast by x5973 my maidens. 5291

2:9 Let thine eyes 5869 be on the field 7704 that x834 they doe reape, 7114 z8799 and go 1980 z8804 thou after 310 them: Haue I not x3808 charged 6680 z8765 x853 the young men, 5288 that they shall not x1115 touch 5060 z8800 thee? and when thou art athirst, 6770 z8804 goe 1980 z8804 vnto x413 the vessels, 3627 and drinke 8354 z8804 of that which x4480 x834 the yong men 5288 haue drawen. 7579 z8799

2:10 Then she fel 5307 z8799 on x5921 her face, 6440 and bowed y7812 z8691 her selfe x7812 to the ground, 776 and said 559 z8799 vnto x413 him, Why x4069 haue I found 4672 z8804 grace 2580 in thine eyes, 5869 that thou shouldest take knowledge 5234 z8687 of me, seeing I x595 am a stranger? 5237

2:11 And Boaz 1162 answered 6030 z8799 and said 559 z8799 vnto her, It hath fully 5046 z8715 bene shewed 5046 z8717 me, all x3605 that x834 thou hast done 6213 z8804 vnto x853 thy mother in law 2545 since 310 the death 4194 of thine husband: 376 and [how] thou hast left 5800 z8799 thy father 1 and thy mother, 517 and the land 776 of thy natiuitie, 4138 and art come y3212 z8799 x1980 vnto x413 a people, 5971 which x834 thou knewest 3045 z8804 not x3808 heretofore. 8543 8032

2:12 The LORD 3068 recompense 7999 z8762 thy worke, 6467 and a full 8003 reward 4909 be giuen x1961 thee of x4480 x5973 the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel, 3478 vnder x8478 whose x834 wings 3671 thou art come 935 z8804 to trust. 2620 z8800

2:13 Then she said, 559 z8799 Let me finde 4672 z8799 fauour 2580 in thy sight, 5869 my lord, 113 for x3588 that thou hast comforted 5162 z8765 mee, and for that x3588 thou hast spoken 1696 z8765 friendly 3820 x5921 vnto thine handmaid, 8198 though I x595 be x1961 not x3808 like vnto one 259 of thy hand-maidens. 8198

2:14 And Boaz 1162 sayde 559 z8799 vnto her, At meale time 6256 400 come 5066 z8798 thou hither, 1988 and eate 398 z8804 of x4480 the bread, 3899 and dip 2881 z8804 thy morsell 6595 in the vineger. 2558 And shee sate 3427 z8799 beside 6654 x4480 the reapers: 7114 z8802 and he reached 6642 z8799 her parched 7039 corne, and she did eate, 398 z8799 and was sufficed, 7646 z8799 and left. 3498 z8686

2:15 And when shee was risen vp 6965 z8799 to gleane, 3950 z8763 Boaz 1162 commanded 6680 z8762 x853 his young men, 5288 saying, 559 z8800 Let her gleane 3950 z8762 euen x1571 among x996 the sheaues, 6016 & reproch 3637 z8686 her not. x3808

2:16 And let fall 7997 z8799 also x1571 [some] of x4480 the handfuls 6653 of purpose 7997 z8800 for her, and leaue 5800 z8804 them that she may gleane 3950 z8765 [them], and rebuke 1605 z8799 her not. x3808

2:17 So she gleaned 3950 z8762 in the field 7704 vntill x5704 euen, 6153 and beat out 2251 z8799 x853 that x834 she had gleaned: 3950 z8765 and it was x1961 about an Ephah 374 of barley. 8184

2:18 ¶ And shee tooke [it] vp, 5375 z8799 and went 935 z8799 into the citie: 5892 and her mother in lawe 2545 saw 7200 z8799 x853 what x834 shee had gleaned; 3950 z8765 and shee brought foorth, 3318 z8686 and gaue 5414 z8799 to her x853 that x834 she had reserued, 3498 z8689 after she was sufficed. 7648 x4480

2:19 And her mother in law 2545 said 559 z8799 vnto her, Where x375 hast thou gleaned 3950 z8765 to day? 3117 and where 375 wroughtest 6213 z8804 thou? blessed 1288 z8803 be x1961 hee that did take knowledge 5234 z8688 of thee. And shee shewed 5046 z8686 her mother in lawe 2545 x853 with x5973 whom x834 shee had wrought, 6213 z8804 and said, 559 z8799 The mans 376 name 8034 with x5973 whom x834 I wrought 6213 z8804 to day, 3117 is Boaz. 1162

2:20 And Naomi 5281 said 559 z8799 vnto her daughter in law, 3618 Blessed 1288 z8803 be he x1931 of the LORD, 3068 who x834 hath not x3808 left off 5800 z8804 his kindnesse 2617 to x854 the liuing 2416 and to x854 the dead. 4191 z8801 And Naomi 5281 said 559 z8799 vnto her, The man 376 is neere of kin 7138 vnto vs, one x1931 of our next kinsemen. 1350 z8802 x4480

2:21 And Ruth 7327 the Moabitesse 4125 said, 559 z8799 He said 559 z8804 vnto x413 me also, x1571 Thou shalt keepe fast 1692 z8799 by x5973 my x834 yong men, 5288 vntill x5704 x518 they haue ended 3615 z8765 x853 all x3605 my x834 haruest. 7105

2:22 And Naomi 5281 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Ruth 7327 her daughter in law, 3618 It is good, 2896 my daughter, 1323 that x3588 thou goe out 3318 z8799 with x5973 his maidens, 5291 that they meete 6293 z8799 thee not x3808 in any other 312 field. 7704

2:23 So shee kept fast 1692 z8799 by the maidens 5291 of Boaz 1162 to gleane, 3950 z8763 vnto x5704 the end 3615 z8800 of barley 8184 haruest, 7105 and of wheat 2406 haruest, 7105 and dwelt 3427 z8799 with x854 her mother in law. 2545
