Malachi 3

1 Of the messenger, majesty, and grace of Christ. 7 Of the rebellion, 8 sacrilege, 13 and infidelity of the people. 16 The promise of blessing to them that fear God.

 3:1 ¶ Beholde, x2009 I will send 7971 z8802 my messenger, 4397 and he shal prepare 6437 z8765 the way 1870 before 6440 mee: and the Lord 113 whom x834 ye x859 seeke, 1245 z8764 shall suddenly 6597 come 935 z8799 to x413 his Temple: 1964 euen ye messenger 4397 of the Couenant, 1285 whom x834 ye x859 delight 2655 in: behold, x2009 he shall come, 935 z8804 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts. 6635

 3:2 But who x4310 may abide 3557 z8772 x853 the day 3117 of his comming? 935 z8800 and who x4310 shall stand 5975 z8802 when he appeareth? 7200 z8736 for x3588 he x1931 [is] like a refiners 6884 z8764 fire, 784 and like fullers 3526 z8764 sope. 1287

 3:3 And he shall sit 3427 z8804 [as] a refiner 6884 z8764 and purifier 2891 z8764 of siluer: 3701 and he shall purifie 2891 z8765 x853 the sonnes 1121 of Leui, 3878 and purge 2212 z8765 them as gold 2091 & siluer, 3701 that they may offer 5066 z8688 x1961 vnto the LORD 3068 an offring 4503 in righteousnes. 6666

 3:4 Then shall the offerings 4503 of Iudah 3063 and Ierusalem 3389 bee pleasant 6149 z8804 vnto the LORD, 3068 as in the dayes 3117 of old, 5769 and as in former 6931 yeeres. 8141

 3:5 And I will come neere 7126 z8804 to x413 you to iudgement, 4941 and I will bee x1961 a swift 4116 z8764 witnesse 5707 against the sorcerers, 3784 z8764 and against the adulterers, 5003 z8764 and against false 8267 swearers, 7650 z8737 and against those that oppresse 6231 z8802 the hireling 7916 in [his] wages, 7939 the widowe, 490 and the fatherlesse, 3490 and that turne aside 5186 z8688 the stranger 1616 [from his right], and feare 3372 z8804 not x3808 me, saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts. 6635

 3:6 For x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 I change 8138 z8804 not: x3808 therefore ye x859 sonnes 1121 of Iacob 3290 are not x3808 consumed. 3615 z8804

 3:7 ¶ Euen from the dayes 3117 x4480 of your fathers 1 yee are gone away 5493 z8804 from mine ordinances, 2706 x4480 and haue not x3808 kept 8104 z8804 [them]: returne 7725 z8798 vnto x413 me, and I will returne 7725 z8799 vnto x413 you, saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts: 6635 But ye said, 559 z8804 Wherein x4100 shall we returne? 7725 z8799

 3:8 ¶ Wil a man 120 rob 6906 z8799 God? 430 yet x3588 ye x859 haue robbed 6906 z8802 me. But ye say, 559 z8804 Wherein x4100 haue we robbed 6906 z8804 thee? In tithes 4643 & offerings. 8641

 3:9 Ye x859 are cursed 779 z8737 with a curse: 3994 for ye x859 haue robbed 6906 z8802 me, [euen] this whole x3605 nation. 1471

 3:10 Bring 935 z8685 ye x853 all x3605 the tithes 4643 into x413 the store-house, 214 x1004 that there may be x1961 meate 2964 in mine house, 1004 & proue 974 z8798 me now x4994 herewith, 2063 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 if x518 I will not x3808 open 6605 z8799 you x853 the windowes 699 of heauen, 8064 and powre you out 7324 z8689 a blessing, 1293 that x5704 [there shall] not x1097 [be roome] enough 1767 [to receiue it].

 3:11 And I wil rebuke 1605 z8804 the deuourer 398 z8802 for your sakes: and he shal not x3808 destroy 7843 z8686 x853 the fruits 6529 of your ground, 127 neither x3808 shal your vine 1612 cast her fruit y7921 z8762 before the time x7921 in the field, 7704 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts. 6635

 3:12 And all x3605 nations 1471 shall call you blessed: 833 z8765 x853 for x3588 ye x859 shall be x1961 a delightsome 2656 land, 776 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts. 6635

 3:13 ¶ Your words 1697 haue bin stout 2388 z8804 against x5921 me, saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 yet ye say, 559 z8804 What x4100 haue we spoken 1696 z8738 so much against x5921 thee?

 3:14 Ye haue said, 559 z8804 It [is] vaine 7723 to serue 5647 z8800 God: 430 and what x4100 profit 1215 [is it], that x3588 we haue kept 8104 z8804 his ordinance, 4931 and that x3588 wee haue walked 1980 z8804 mournfully 6941 before 6440 x4480 the LORD 3068 of hosts? 6635

 3:15 And now x6258 we x587 call y833 z0 the proud y2086 happy: 833 z8764 x2086 yea, x1571 they that worke 6213 z8802 wickednes 7564 are set vp, 1129 z8738 yea x1571 they that tempt 974 z8804 God, 430 are euen deliuered. 4422 z8735

 3:16 ¶ Then x227 they that feared 3373 the LORD, 3068 spake x1696 often y1696 z8738 one 376 to x854 another, 7453 and the LORD 3068 hearkened 7181 z8686 and heard 8085 z8799 [it], & a booke 5612 of remembrance 2146 was written 3789 z8735 before 6440 him, for them that feared y3373 x3372 the LORD, 3068 & that thought 2803 z8802 vpon his name. 8034

 3:17 And they shall be x1961 mine, saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 in that day 3117 when x834 I x589 make vp 6213 z8802 my iewels, 5459 and I wil spare 2550 z8804 x5921 them as x834 a man 376 spareth 2550 z8799 x5921 his owne sonne 1121 that serueth 5647 z8802 him.

 3:18 Then shall yee returne 7725 z8804 and discerne 7200 z8804 betweene x996 the righteous 6662 and the wicked, 7563 betweene x996 him that serueth 5647 z8802 God, 430 and him x834 that serueth 5647 z8804 him not. x3808
