1 Of idolatry. 2 Religiousness. 3 A blessing to them that keep the Commandments. 14 A curse to those that break them. 40 God promiseth to remember them that repent.

 26:1 ¶ Yee shall make 6213 z8799 you no x3808 Idoles 457 nor grauen Image, 6459 neither x3808 reare you vp 6965 z8686 a standing image, 4676 neither x3808 shall yee set vp 5414 z8799 any Image 4906 of stone 68 in your land, 776 to bow downe 7812 z8692 vnto x5921 it: For x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD 3068 your God. 430

 26:2 ¶ Ye shal keepe 8104 z8799 x853 my Sabbaths, 7676 and reuerence 3372 z8799 my Sanctuary: 4720 I x589 [am] the LORD. 3068

 26:3 ¶ If x518 ye walke y3212 z8799 x1980 in my Statutes, 2708 and keepe 8104 z8799 my Commandements, 4687 and doe 6213 z8804 them;

 26:4 Then I will giue 5414 z8804 you raine 1653 in due season, 6256 and the land 776 shall yeeld 5414 z8804 her increase, 2981 and the trees 6086 of the field 7704 shall yeeld 5414 z8799 their fruit. 6529

 26:5 And your threshing 1786 shall reach 5381 z8689 x853 vnto the vintage, 1210 and the vintage 1210 shall reach 5381 z8686 x853 vnto the sowing time: 2233 and yee shal eat 398 z8804 your bread 3899 to the full, 7648 and dwel 3427 z8804 in your land 776 safely. 983

 26:6 And I wil giue 5414 z8804 peace 7965 in the land, 776 and ye shall lye downe, 7901 z8804 and none x369 shall make you afraid: 2729 z8688 and I will rid 7673 z8689 euill 7451 beasts 2416 out of x4480 the land, 776 neither x3808 shall the sword 2719 goe 5674 z8799 through your land. 776

 26:7 And ye shall chase 7291 z8804 x853 your enemies, 341 z8802 and they shall fall 5307 z8804 before 6440 you by the sword. 2719

 26:8 And fiue 2568 of x4480 you shal chase 7291 z8804 an hundred, 3967 and an hundred 3967 of x4480 you shall put ten thousand y7233 to flight: 7291 z8799 x7233 and your enemies 341 z8802 shall fall 5307 z8804 before 6440 you by the sword. 2719

 26:9 For I wil haue respect 6437 z8804 vnto x413 you, and make you fruitfull, 6509 z8689 x853 and multiply 7235 z8689 you, & establish 6965 z8689 x853 my couenant 1285 with x854 you.

 26:10 And yee shall eate 398 z8804 old store, 3462 z8737 x3465 and bring forth 3318 z8686 the old, 3465 because 6440 x4480 of the new. 2319

 26:11 And I will set 5414 z8804 my Tabernacle 4908 amongst 8432 you: and my soule 5315 shall not x3808 abhorre 1602 z8799 you.

 26:12 And I will walke 1980 z8694 among 8432 you, and will be 1961 z8799 your God, 430 and ye x859 shall be 1961 z8799 my people. 5971

 26:13 I x589 am the LORD 3068 your God, 430 which x834 brought you forth 3318 z8689 x853 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 that yee should not be x4480 x1961 their bondmen, 5650 & I haue broken 7665 z8799 the bandes 4133 of your yoke, 5923 and made you go y3212 z8686 x1980 x853 vpright. 6968

 26:14 ¶ But if x518 ye will not x3808 hearken 8085 z8799 vnto me, and will not x3808 doe 6213 z8799 x853 all x3605 these x428 Commandements: 4687

 26:15 And if x518 ye shall despise 3988 z8799 my Statutes, 2708 or if x518 your soule 5315 abhorre 1602 z8799 x853 my Iudgements, 4941 so that ye wil not x1115 doe 6213 z8800 x853 all x3605 my Commandements, 4687 [but] that yee breake 6565 z8687 x853 my Couenant: 1285

 26:16 I x589 also x637 will doe 6213 z8799 this x2063 vnto you, I will euen appoint 6485 z8689 ouer x5921 you terrour, 928 x853 consumption, 7829 and the burning ague, 6920 that shall consume 3615 z8764 the eyes, 5869 and cause sorrow 1727 z8688 of heart: 5315 and ye shall sow 2232 z8804 your seede 2233 in vaine, 7385 for your enemies 341 z8802 shall eate 398 z8804 it.

 26:17 And I will set 5414 z8804 my face 6440 against you, and ye shall be slaine 5062 z8738 before 6440 your enemies: 341 z8802 they that hate 8130 z8802 you shall reigne 7287 z8804 ouer you, and ye shall flee 5127 z8804 when none x369 pursueth 7291 z8802 you.

 26:18 And if x518 ye will not x3808 yet y5704 for x5704 all this x428 hearken 8085 z8799 vnto me, then I will punish 3256 z8763 you seuen times 7651 more 3254 z8804 for x5921 your sinnes. 2403

 26:19 And I will breake 7665 z8804 x853 the pride 1347 of your power, 5797 and I will make 5414 z8804 x853 your heauen 8064 as yron, 1270 and your earth 776 as brasse: 5154

 26:20 And your strength 3581 shall be spent 8552 z8804 in vaine: 7385 for your land 776 shall not x3808 yeeld 5414 z8799 x853 her increase, 2981 neither x3808 shall the trees 6086 of the land 776 yeeld 5414 z8799 their fruits. 6529

 26:21 ¶ And if x518 ye walke y3212 z8799 x1980 contrary 7147 vnto x5973 me, and will 14 z8799 not x3808 hearken 8085 z8800 vnto mee, I will bring y3254 z0 seuen times y7651 moe 3254 z8804 x7651 plagues 4347 vpon x5921 you, according to your sinnes. 2403

 26:22 I will also send 7971 z8689 x853 wilde 7704 beasts 2416 among you, which shall rob you of your children, 7921 z8765 x853 and destroy 3772 z8689 x853 your cattell, 929 and make you few in number, 4591 z8689 x853 and your [high] wayes 1870 shall be desolate. 8074 z8738

 26:23 And if x518 ye will not x3808 be reformed 3256 z8735 by these things, x428 but will walke 1980 z8804 contrary 7147 vnto x5973 me:

 26:24 Then will I x589 also x637 walke 1980 z8804 contrary 7147 vnto x5973 you, and will punish 5221 z8689 you yet 1571 seuen times 7651 for x5921 your sinnes. 2403

 26:25 And I will bring 935 z8689 a sword 2719 vpon x5921 you, that shall auenge 5358 z8802 the quarell 5359 of [my] couenant: 1285 and when yee are gathered together 622 z8738 within 413 your cities, 5892 I wil send 7971 z8765 the pestilence 1698 among 8432 you, and ye shalbe deliuered 5414 z8738 into the hand 3027 of the enemie. 341 z8802

 26:26 And when I haue broken 7665 z8800 the staffe 4294 of your bread, 3899 ten 6235 women 802 shall bake 644 z8804 your bread 3899 in one 259 ouen, 8574 and they shall deliuer y7725 z0 you your bread y3899 againe 7725 z8689 x3899 by weight: 4948 and ye shall eate, 398 z8804 and not x3808 bee satisfied. 7646 z8799

 26:27 And if x518 ye wil not x3808 for all this 2063 hearken 8085 z8799 vnto me, but walke 1980 z8804 contrary 7147 vnto x5973 mee,

 26:28 Then I wil walke 1980 z8804 contrary 7147 vnto x5973 you also in fury, 2534 and I, euen 637 I x589 will chastise 3256 z8765 you seuen times 7651 for x5921 your sinnes. 2403

 26:29 And ye shal eate 398 z8804 the flesh 1320 of your sonnes, 1121 and the flesh 1320 of your daughters 1323 shall ye eate. 398 z8799

 26:30 And I will destroy 8045 z8689 x853 your high places, 1116 and cut downe 3772 z8689 x853 your images, 2553 and cast 5414 z8804 x853 your carkeises 6297 vpon x5921 the carkeises 6297 of your idoles, 1544 and my soule 5315 shall abhorre 1602 z8804 you.

 26:31 And I wil make 5414 z8804 x853 your cities 5892 waste, 2723 and bring y8074 z0 your sanctuaries y4720 vnto desolation, 8074 z8689 x853 x4720 and I will not x3808 smell 7306 z8686 the sauour 7381 of your sweet odours. 5207

 26:32 And I x589 will bring y8074 z0 the land y776 into desolation: 8074 z8689 x853 x776 and your enemies 341 z8802 which dwel 3427 z8802 therein, shall be astonished 8074 z8804 at x5921 it.

 26:33 And I will scatter 2219 z8762 you among the heathen, 1471 and will draw out 7324 z8689 a sword 2719 after 310 you: and your land 776 shall be x1961 desolate, 8077 and your cities 5892 waste. 2723

 26:34 Then x227 shall the lande 776 enioy 7521 z8799 x853 her Sabbaths, 7676 as long y3117 as x3605 x3117 it lieth desolate, 8074 z8715 and yee x859 be in your enemies 341 z8802 land, 776 euen then x227 shall the land 776 rest, 7673 z8799 and enioy 7521 z8689 x853 her Sabbaths. 7676

 26:35 As long as 3117 x3605 it lieth desolate, 8074 z8715 it shall rest: 7673 z8799 x853 because x834 it did not x3808 rest 7673 z8804 in your Sabbaths, 7676 when ye dwelt 3427 z8800 vpon x5921 it.

 26:36 And vpon them that are left 7604 z8737 aliue of you, I will send 935 z8689 a faintnesse 4816 into their hearts 3824 in the lands 776 of their enemies, 341 z8802 and the sound 6963 of a shaken 5086 z8737 leafe 5929 shall chase 7291 z8804 them, and they shall flee, 5127 z8804 as fleeing 4499 from a sword: 2719 and they shall fall, 5307 z8804 when none x369 pursueth. 7291 z8802

 26:37 And they shall fall 3782 z8804 one 376 vpon another, 251 as it were before 6440 x4480 a sword, 2719 when none x369 pursueth: 7291 z8802 and yee shall haue x1961 no x3808 power to stand 8617 before 6440 your enemies. 341 z8802

 26:38 And yee shall perish 6 z8804 among the Heathen, 1471 and the land 776 of your enemies 341 z8802 shall eate you vp. 398 z8804 x853

 26:39 And they that are left 7604 z8737 of you shall pine away 4743 z8735 in their iniquitie 5771 in your enemies 341 z8802 lands, 776 and also x637 in the iniquities 5771 of their fathers 1 shall they pine away 4743 z8735 with x854 them.

 26:40 If they shall confesse 3034 5771 z8694 x853 the iniquitie 5771 of their fathers, 1 with their trespasse 4604 which x834 they trespassed 4603 z8804 against me, and that x834 also x637 they haue walked 1980 z8804 contrary 7147 vnto x5973 me:

 26:41 And [that] I x589 also x637 haue walked y3212 z8799 x1980 contrary 7147 vnto x5973 them, and haue brought 935 z8689 them into the land 776 of their enemies: 341 z8802 if x176 then y176 x227 their vncircumcised 6189 hearts 3824 bee humbled, 3665 z8735 and they then x227 accept 7521 z8799 of x853 the punishment of their iniquitie: 5771

 26:42 Then will I remember 2142 z8804 x853 my couenant 1285 with Iacob, 3290 and also x637 x853 my couenant 1285 with Isaac, 3327 and also x637 x853 my couenant 1285 with Abraham 85 will I remember, 2142 z8799 and I will remember 2142 z8799 the land. 776

 26:43 The land 776 also shalbe left 5800 z8735 of x4480 them, and shall enioy 7521 z8799 x853 her Sabbaths, 7676 while she lieth desolate 8074 z8715 without x4480 them: and they x1992 shall accept 7521 z8799 x853 of the punishment of their iniquitie: 5771 because, 3282 euen because 3282 they despised 3988 z8804 my Iudgements, 4941 and because their soule 5315 abhorred 1602 z8804 my Statutes 2708

 26:44 And yet 637 for all that, 2063 x1571 when they be y1571 x1961 in the land 776 of their enemies, 341 z8802 I will not x3808 cast them away, 3988 z8804 neither x3808 will I abhorre 1602 z8804 them, to destroy them vtterly, 3615 z8763 and to breake 6565 z8687 my couenant 1285 with x854 them: for x3588 I x589 am the LORD 3068 their God. 430

 26:45 But I wil for their sakes remember 2142 z8804 the couenant 1285 of their Ancestours, 7223 whom x834 x853 I brought forth 3318 z8689 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 in the sight 5869 of the Heathen, 1471 that I might be x1961 their God: 430 I x589 am the LORD. 3068

 26:46 These x428 are the Statutes, 2706 and Iudgements, 4941 and Lawes 8451 which x834 the LORD 3068 made 5414 z8804 betweene x996 him and the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 in mount 2022 Sinai, 5514 by the hand 3027 of Moses. 4872
