Leviticus 11

1 What beasts may, 4 and what may not be eaten. 9 What fishes. 13 What fowls. 29 The creeping things which are unclean.

 11:1 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 z8762 unto x413 Moses 4872 and to x413 Aaron, 175 saying 559 z8800 unto x413 them,

 11:2 Speak 1696 z8761 unto x413 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 saying, 559 z8800 These 2063 [are] the beasts 2416 which x834 ye shall eat 398 z8799 among all x4480 x3605 the beasts 929 that x834 [are] on x5921 the earth. 776

 11:3 Whatsoever x3605 parteth 6536 z8688 the hoof, 6541 and is cloven-footed, 8156 8157 z8802 x6541 [and] cheweth 5927 z8688 the cud, 1625 among the beasts, 929 that shall ye eat. 398 z8799

 11:4 Nevertheless 389 x853 these x2088 shall ye not x3808 eat 398 z8799 of them that chew 5927 z8688 x4480 the cud, 1625 or of them that divide 6536 z8688 x4480 the hoof: 6541 [as] x853 the camel, 1581 because x3588 he x1931 cheweth 5927 z8688 the cud, 1625 but divideth 6536 z8688 not x369 the hoof; 6541 he x1931 [is] unclean 2931 unto you.

 11:5 And the coney, 8227 because x3588 he x1931 cheweth 5927 z8688 the cud, 1625 but divideth 6536 z8686 not x3808 the hoof; 6541 he x1931 [is] unclean 2931 unto you.

 11:6 And the hare, 768 because x3588 he x1931 cheweth 5927 z8688 the cud, 1625 but divideth 6536 z8689 not x3808 the hoof; 6541 he x1931 [is] unclean 2931 unto you.

 11:7 And the swine, 2386 though x3588 he x1931 divide 6536 z8688 the hoof, 6541 and be cloven-footed, 8156 8157 z8802 x6541 yet he x1931 cheweth 1641 z8735 not x3808 the cud; 1625 he x1931 [is] unclean 2931 to you.

 11:8 Of their flesh 1320 x4480 shall ye not x3808 eat, 398 z8799 and their carcass 5038 shall ye not x3808 touch; 5060 z8799 they x1992 [are] unclean 2931 to you.

 11:9 ¶ x853 These x2088 shall ye eat 398 z8799 of all x4480 x3605 that x834 [are] in the waters: 4325 whatsoever x3605 x834 hath fins 5579 and scales 7193 in the waters, 4325 in the seas, 3220 and in the rivers, 5158 them shall ye eat. 398 z8799

 11:10 And all x3605 that x834 have not x369 fins 5579 and scales 7193 in the seas, 3220 and in the rivers, 5158 of all x4480 x3605 that move 8318 in the waters, 4325 and of any x4480 x3605 living 2416 thing 5315 which x834 [is] in the waters, 4325 they x1992 [shall be] an abomination 8263 unto you:

 11:11 They shall be x1961 even an abomination 8263 unto you; ye shall not x3808 eat 398 z8799 of their flesh, 1320 x4480 but ye shall have their carcasses y5038 in abomination. 8262 z8762 x853 x5038

 11:12 Whatsoever x3605 x834 hath no x369 fins 5579 nor scales 7193 in the waters, 4325 that x1931 [shall be] an abomination 8263 unto you.

 11:13 ¶ And these x428 [are they which] ye shall have in abomination 8262 z8762 among 4480 the fowls; 5775 they shall not x3808 be eaten, 398 z8735 they x1992 [are] an abomination: 8263 x853 the eagle, 5404 and the ossifrage, 6538 and the osprey, 5822

 11:14 And the vulture, 1676 and the kite 344 after his kind; 4327

 11:15 x853 Every x3605 raven 6158 after his kind; 4327

 11:16 And the owl, 1323 3284 and the night hawk, 8464 and the cuckoo, 7828 and the hawk 5322 after his kind, 4327

 11:17 And the little owl, 3563 and the cormorant, 7994 and the great owl, 3244

 11:18 And the swan, 8580 and the pelican, 6893 and the gier-eagle, 7360

 11:19 And the stork, 2624 the heron 601 after her kind, 4327 and the lapwing, 1744 and the bat. 5847

 11:20 All x3605 fowls 5775 that creep, 8318 going 1980 z8802 upon x5921 [all] four, 702 [shall be] an abomination 8263 unto you.

 11:21 Yet x389 x853 these x2088 may ye eat 398 z8799 of every x4480 x3605 flying 5775 creeping y8318 thing x8318 that goeth 1980 z8802 upon x5921 [all] four, 702 which x834 have legs 3767 above 4605 x4480 their feet, 7272 to leap 5425 z8763 withal 2004 upon x5921 the earth; 776

 11:22 [Even] x853 these x428 of x4480 them ye may eat; 398 z8799 x853 the locust 697 after his kind, 4327 and the bald locust 5556 after his kind, 4327 and the beetle 2728 after his kind, 4327 and the grasshopper 2284 after his kind. 4327

 11:23 But all x3605 [other] flying 5775 creeping things, 8318 which x834 have four 702 feet, 7272 [shall be] an abomination 8263 unto you.

 11:24 And for these x428 ye shall be unclean: 2930 z8691 whosoever x3605 toucheth 5060 z8802 the carcass 5038 of them shall be unclean 2930 z8799 until x5704 the even. 6153

 11:25 And whosoever x3605 beareth 5375 z8802 [aught] of the carcass 5038 x4480 of them shall wash 3526 z8762 his clothes, 899 and be unclean 2930 z8804 until x5704 the even. 6153

 11:26 [The carcasses] of every x3605 beast 929 which x834 divideth 6536 z8688 the hoof, 6541 and [is] not x369 cloven-footed, 8157 8156 z8802 nor x369 cheweth 5927 z8688 the cud, 1625 [are] unclean 2931 unto you: every one x3605 that toucheth 5060 z8802 them shall be unclean. 2930 z8799

 11:27 And whatsoever 3605 y1992 goeth 1980 z8802 upon x5921 his paws, 3709 among all manner x3605 of beasts 2416 that go 1980 z8802 on x5921 [all] four, 702 those x1992 [are] unclean 2931 unto you: whoso x3605 toucheth 5060 z8802 their carcass 5038 shall be unclean 2930 z8799 until x5704 the even. 6153

 11:28 And he that beareth 5375 z8802 x853 the carcass 5038 of them shall wash 3526 z8762 his clothes, 899 and be unclean 2930 z8804 until x5704 the even: 6153 they x1992 [are] unclean 2931 unto you.

 11:29 ¶ These x2088 also [shall be] unclean 2931 unto you among the creeping things 8318 that creep 8317 z8802 upon x5921 the earth; 776 the weasel, 2467 and the mouse, 5909 and the tortoise 6632 after his kind, 4327

 11:30 And the ferret, 604 and the chameleon, 3581 and the lizard, 3911 and the snail, 2546 and the mole. 8580

 11:31 These x428 [are] unclean 2931 to you among all x3605 that creep: 8318 whosoever x3605 doth touch 5060 z8802 them, when they be dead, 4194 shall be unclean 2930 z8799 until x5704 the even. 6153

 11:32 And upon x5921 whatsoever x3605 x834 [any] of x4480 them, when they are dead, 4194 doth fall, 5307 z8799 it shall be unclean; 2930 z8799 whether [it be] any x4480 x3605 vessel 3627 of wood, 6086 or x176 raiment, 899 or x176 skin, 5785 or x176 sack, 8242 whatsoever x3605 vessel 3627 [it be], wherein x834 [any] work 4399 is done, 6213 z8735 it must be put 935 z8714 into water, 4325 and it shall be unclean 2930 z8804 until x5704 the even; 6153 so it shall be cleansed. 2891 z8804

 11:33 And every x3605 earthen 2789 vessel, 3627 whereinto x834 x413 x8432 [any] of x4480 them falleth, 5307 z8799 y8432 whatsoever x3605 x834 [is] in x8432 it shall be unclean; 2930 z8799 and ye shall break 7665 z8799 it.

 11:34 Of all x4480 x3605 meat 400 which x834 may be eaten, 398 z8735 [that] on x5921 which x834 [such] water 4325 cometh 935 z8799 shall be unclean: 2930 z8799 and all x3605 drink 4945 that x834 may be drunk 8354 z8735 in every x3605 [such] vessel 3627 shall be unclean. 2930 z8799

 11:35 And every x3605 [thing] whereupon x834 x5921 [any part] of their carcass 5038 x4480 falleth 5307 z8799 shall be unclean; 2930 z8799 [whether it be] oven, 8574 or ranges y3600 for pots, x3600 they shall be broken down: 5422 z8714 [for] they x1992 [are] unclean, 2931 and shall be x1961 unclean 2931 unto you.

 11:36 Nevertheless x389 a fountain 4599 or pit, 953 [wherein there is] plenty 4723 of water, 4325 shall be x1961 clean: 2889 but that which toucheth 5060 z8802 their carcass 5038 shall be unclean. 2930 z8799

 11:37 And if x3588 [any part] of x4480 their carcass 5038 fall 5307 z8799 upon x5921 any x3605 sowing 2221 seed 2233 which x834 is to be sown, 2232 z8735 it x1931 [shall be] clean. 2889

 11:38 But if x3588 [any] water 4325 be put 5414 z8714 upon x5921 the seed, 2233 and [any part] of their carcass 5038 x4480 fall 5307 z8804 thereon, x5921 it x1931 [shall be] unclean 2931 unto you.

 11:39 And if x3588 any beast, 929 of x4480 which x834 ye may eat, 402 die; 4191 z8799 he that toucheth 5060 z8802 the carcass 5038 thereof shall be unclean 2930 z8799 until x5704 the even. 6153

 11:40 And he that eateth 398 z8802 of the carcass 5038 x4480 of it shall wash 3526 z8762 his clothes, 899 and be unclean 2930 z8804 until x5704 the even: 6153 he also that beareth 5375 z8802 x853 the carcass 5038 of it shall wash 3526 z8762 his clothes, 899 and be unclean 2930 z8804 until x5704 the even. 6153

 11:41 And every x3605 creeping thing 8318 that creepeth 8317 z8802 upon x5921 the earth 776 [shall be] an abomination; 8263 it shall not x3808 be eaten. 398 z8735

 11:42 Whatsoever x3605 goeth 1980 z8802 upon x5921 the belly, 1512 and whatsoever x3605 goeth 1980 z8802 upon x5921 [all] four, 702 or whatsoever x3605 hath more 7235 z8688 feet 7272 among all x3605 creeping things 8318 that creep 8317 z8802 upon x5921 the earth, 776 them ye shall not x3808 eat; 398 z8799 for x3588 they x1992 [are] an abomination. 8263

 11:43 Ye shall not x408 make y8262 z0 yourselves y5315 abominable 8262 z8762 x853 x5315 with any x3605 creeping thing 8318 that creepeth, 8317 z8802 neither x3808 shall ye make yourselves unclean y2933 z8738 x2930 with them, that ye should be defiled 2930 z8691 thereby.

 11:44 For x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD 3068 your God: 430 ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, 6942 z8694 and ye shall be x1961 holy; 6918 for x3588 I x589 [am] holy: 6918 neither x3808 shall ye defile 2930 z8762 x853 yourselves 5315 with any manner x3605 of creeping thing 8318 that creepeth 7430 z8802 upon x5921 the earth. 776

 11:45 For x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD 3068 that bringeth y5927 z8688 you up x5927 x853 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 to be x1961 your God: 430 ye shall therefore be x1961 holy, 6918 for x3588 I x589 [am] holy. 6918

 11:46 This x2063 [is] the law 8451 of the beasts, 929 and of the fowl, 5775 and of every x3605 living 2416 creature 5315 that moveth 7430 z8802 in the waters, 4325 and of every x3605 creature 5315 that creepeth 8317 z8802 upon x5921 the earth: 776

 11:47 To make a difference 914 z8687 between x996 the unclean 2931 and the clean, 2889 and between x996 the beast 2416 that may be eaten 398 z8737 and the beast 2416 that x834 may not x3808 be eaten. 398 z8735
