Exodus 7

1 Moses is encouraged to go to Pharaoh. 7 His age. 8 His rod is turned into a serpent. 11 The sorcerers do the like. 13 Pharaoh's heart is hardened. 14 God's message to Pharaoh. 19 The river is turned into blood.

 7:1 ¶ And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 See, 7200 z8798 I have made 5414 z8804 thee a god 430 to Pharaoh: 6547 and Aaron 175 thy brother 251 shall be x1961 thy prophet. 5030

 7:2 Thou x859 shalt speak 1696 z8762 x853 all x3605 that x834 I command 6680 z8762 thee: and Aaron 175 thy brother 251 shall speak 1696 z8762 unto x413 Pharaoh, 6547 that he send 7971 z8765 x853 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 out of his land. 776 x4480

 7:3 And I x589 will harden 7185 z8686 x853 Pharaoh's 6547 heart, 3820 and multiply 7235 z8689 x853 my signs 226 and my wonders 4159 in the land 776 of Egypt. 4714

 7:4 But Pharaoh 6547 shall not x3808 hearken 8085 z8799 unto x413 you, that I may lay 5414 z8804 x853 my hand 3027 upon Egypt, 4714 and bring forth 3318 z8689 x853 mine armies, 6635 [and] x853 my people 5971 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt 4714 by great 1419 judgments. 8201

 7:5 And the Egyptians 4714 shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 when I stretch forth 5186 z8800 x853 mine hand 3027 upon x5921 Egypt, 4714 and bring out 3318 z8689 x853 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 from among 8432 x4480 them.

 7:6 And Moses 4872 and Aaron 175 did 6213 z8799 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 them, so x3651 did 6213 z8804 they.

 7:7 And Moses 4872 [was] fourscore 8084 years 8141 old, 1121 and Aaron 175 fourscore 8084 and three 7969 years 8141 old, 1121 when they spoke 1696 z8763 unto x413 Pharaoh. 6547

 7:8 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spoke 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses 4872 and unto x413 Aaron, 175 saying, 559 z8800

 7:9 When x3588 Pharaoh 6547 shall speak 1696 z8762 unto x413 you, saying, 559 z8800 Show 5414 z8798 a miracle 4159 for you: then thou shalt say 559 z8804 unto x413 Aaron, 175 Take 3947 z8798 x853 thy rod, 4294 and cast 7993 z8685 [it] before 6440 Pharaoh, 6547 [and] it shall become x1961 a serpent. 8577

 7:10 ¶ And Moses 4872 and Aaron 175 went in 935 z8799 unto x413 Pharaoh, 6547 and they did 6213 z8799 so x3651 as x834 the LORD 3068 had commanded: 6680 z8765 and Aaron 175 cast down 7993 z8686 x853 his rod 4294 before 6440 Pharaoh, 6547 and before 6440 his servants, 5650 and it became x1961 a serpent. 8577

 7:11 Then Pharaoh 6547 also x1571 called 7121 z8799 the wise men 2450 and the sorcerers: 3784 z8764 now the magicians 2748 of Egypt, 4714 they x1992 also x1571 did 6213 z8799 in like manner 3651 with their enchantments. 3858

 7:12 For they cast down 7993 z8686 every man 376 his rod, 4294 and they became x1961 serpents: 8577 but Aaron's 175 rod 4294 swallowed up 1104 z8799 x853 their rods. 4294

 7:13 And he hardened 2388 z8799 Pharaoh's 6547 heart, 3820 that he hearkened 8085 z8804 not x3808 unto x413 them; as x834 the LORD 3068 had said. 1696 z8765

 7:14 ¶ And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Pharaoh's 6547 heart 3820 [is] hardened, 3515 he refuseth 3985 z8765 to let the people 5971 go. 7971 z8763

 7:15 Get y3212 z8798 x1980 thee unto x413 Pharaoh 6547 in the morning; 1242 lo, x2009 he goeth out 3318 z8802 unto the water; 4325 and thou shalt stand 5324 z8738 by x5921 the river's 2975 brink 8193 against he come; 7125 z8800 and the rod 4294 which x834 was turned 2015 z8738 to a serpent 5175 shalt thou take 3947 z8799 in thine hand. 3027

 7:16 And thou shalt say 559 z8804 unto x413 him, The LORD 3068 God 430 of the Hebrews 5680 hath sent 7971 z8804 me unto x413 thee, saying, 559 z8800 Let x853 my people 5971 go, 7971 z8761 that they may serve 5647 z8799 me in the wilderness: 4057 and, behold, x2009 hitherto 3541 x5704 thou wouldest not x3808 hear. 8085 z8804

 7:17 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 In this x2063 thou shalt know 3045 z8799 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD: 3068 behold, x2009 I x595 will smite 5221 z8688 with the rod 4294 that x834 [is] in mine hand 3027 upon x5921 the waters 4325 which x834 [are] in the river, 2975 and they shall be turned 2015 z8738 to blood. 1818

 7:18 And the fish 1710 that x834 [is] in the river 2975 shall die, 4191 z8799 and the river 2975 shall stink; 887 z8804 and the Egyptians 4714 shall loathe 3811 z8738 to drink 8354 z8800 of the water 4325 of x4480 the river. 2975

 7:19 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spoke 559 z8799 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Say 559 z8798 unto x413 Aaron, 175 Take 3947 z8798 thy rod, 4294 and stretch out 5186 z8798 thine hand 3027 upon x5921 the waters 4325 of Egypt, 4714 upon x5921 their streams, 5104 upon x5921 their rivers, 2975 and upon x5921 their ponds, 98 and upon x5921 all x3605 their pools 4723 of water, 4325 that they may become x1961 blood; 1818 and [that] there may be x1961 blood 1818 throughout all x3605 the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 both in [vessels of] wood, 6086 and in [vessels of] stone. 68

 7:20 And Moses 4872 and Aaron 175 did 6213 z8799 so, x3651 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded; 6680 z8765 and he lifted up 7311 z8686 the rod, 4294 and smote 5221 z8686 x853 the waters 4325 that x834 [were] in the river, 2975 in the sight 5869 of Pharaoh, 6547 and in the sight 5869 of his servants; 5650 and all x3605 the waters 4325 that x834 [were] in the river 2975 were turned 2015 z8735 to blood. 1818

 7:21 And the fish 1710 that x834 [was] in the river 2975 died; 4191 z8804 and the river 2975 stank, 887 z8799 and the Egyptians 4714 could 3201 z8804 not x3808 drink 8354 z8800 of the water 4325 of x4480 the river; 2975 and there was x1961 blood 1818 throughout all x3605 the land 776 of Egypt. 4714

 7:22 And the magicians 2748 of Egypt 4714 did 6213 z8799 so x3651 with their enchantments: 3909 and Pharaoh's 6547 heart 3820 was hardened, 2388 z8799 neither x3808 did he hearken 8085 z8804 unto x413 them; as x834 the LORD 3068 had said. 1696 z8765

 7:23 And Pharaoh 6547 turned 6437 z8799 and went 935 z8799 into x413 his house, 1004 neither x3808 did he set 7896 z8804 his heart 3820 to this 2063 also. x1571

 7:24 And all x3605 the Egyptians 4714 digged 2658 z8799 round about 5439 the river 2975 for water 4325 to drink; 8354 z8800 for x3588 they could 3201 z8804 not x3808 drink 8354 z8800 of the water 4325 x4480 of the river. 2975

 7:25 And seven 7651 days 3117 were fulfilled, 4390 z8735 after 310 that the LORD 3068 had smitten 5221 z8687 x853 the river. 2975
