Leviticus 10

1 Nadab and Abihu, for offering of strange fire, are burnt by fire. 6 Aaron and his sons are forbidden to mourn for them. 8 The priests are forbidden wine when they are to go into the Tabernacle. 12 The law of eating the holy things. 16 Aaron's excuse for transgressing thereof.

 10:1 ¶ And Nadab 5070 and Abihu, 30 the sons 1121 of Aaron, 175 took 3947 z8799 either 376 of them his censer, 4289 and put 5414 z8799 fire 784 therein, 2004 and put 7760 z8799 incense 7004 thereon, x5921 and offered 7126 z8686 strange 2114 z8801 fire 784 before 6440 the LORD, 3068 which x834 he commanded 6680 z8765 them not. x3808

 10:2 And there went out 3318 z8799 fire 784 from x4480 x6440 the LORD, 3068 and devoured 398 z8799 them, and they died 4191 z8799 before 6440 the LORD. 3068

 10:3 Then Moses 4872 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Aaron, 175 This x1931 [is it] that x834 the LORD 3068 spake, 1696 z8765 saying, 559 z8800 I will be sanctified 6942 z8735 in them that come nigh 7138 me, and before 6440 x5921 all x3605 the people 5971 I will be glorified. 3513 z8735 And Aaron 175 held his peace. 1826 z8799

 10:4 And Moses 4872 called 7121 z8799 x413 Mishael 4332 and Elzaphan, 469 the sons 1121 of Uzziel 5816 the uncle 1730 of Aaron, 175 and said 559 z8799 unto x413 them, Come near, 7126 z8798 carry 5375 z8798 x853 your brethren 251 from x4480 x854 before 6440 the sanctuary 6944 out y2351 of x413 x4480 x2351 the camp. 4264

 10:5 So they went near, 7126 z8799 and carried 5375 z8799 them in their coats 3801 out y2351 of x413 x4480 x2351 the camp; 4264 as x834 Moses 4872 had said. 1696 z8765

 10:6 And Moses 4872 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Aaron, 175 and unto Eleazar 499 and unto Ithamar, 385 his sons, 1121 Uncover 6544 z8799 not x408 your heads, 7218 neither x3808 rend 6533 z8799 your clothes; 899 lest x3808 ye die, 4191 z8799 and lest wrath y7107 z8799 come x7107 upon x5921 all x3605 the people: 5712 but let your brethren, 251 the whole x3605 house 1004 of Israel, 3478 bewail 1058 z8799 x853 the burning 8316 which x834 the LORD 3068 hath kindled. 8313 z8804

 10:7 And ye shall not x3808 go out 3318 z8799 from the door 6607 x4480 of the tabernacle 168 of the congregation, 4150 lest x6435 ye die: 4191 z8799 for x3588 the anointing 4888 oil 8081 of the LORD 3068 [is] upon x5921 you. And they did 6213 z8799 according to the word 1697 of Moses. 4872

 10:8 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 1696 z8762 unto x413 Aaron, 175 saying, 559 z8800

 10:9 Do not x408 drink 8354 z8799 wine 3196 nor strong drink, 7941 thou, x859 nor thy sons 1121 with x854 thee, when ye go 935 z8800 into x413 the tabernacle 168 of the congregation, 4150 lest x3808 ye die: 4191 z8799 [it shall be] a statute 2708 for ever 5769 throughout your generations: 1755

 10:10 And that ye may put difference 914 z8687 between x996 holy 6944 and unholy, 2455 and between x996 unclean 2931 and clean; 2889

 10:11 And that ye may teach 3384 z8687 x853 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 x853 all x3605 the statutes 2706 which x834 the LORD 3068 hath spoken 1696 z8765 unto x413 them by the hand 3027 of Moses. 4872

 10:12 ¶ And Moses 4872 spake 1696 z8762 unto x413 Aaron, 175 and unto x413 Eleazar 499 and unto x413 Ithamar, 385 his sons 1121 that were left, 3498 z8737 Take 3947 z8798 x853 the meat offering 4503 that remaineth 3498 z8737 of the offerings y801 z0 of the LORD y3068 made by fire, 801 x4480 x3068 and eat 398 z8798 it without leaven 4682 beside 681 the altar: 4196 for x3588 it x1931 [is] most y6944 holy: 6944

 10:13 And ye shall eat 398 z8804 it in the holy 6918 place, 4725 because x3588 it [is] thy due, 2706 and thy sons' 1121 due, 2706 of the sacrifices y801 z0 of the LORD y3068 made by fire: 801 x4480 x3068 for x3588 so x3651 I am commanded. 6680 z8795

 10:14 And the wave 8573 breast 2373 and heave 8641 shoulder 7785 shall ye eat 398 z8799 in a clean 2889 place; 4725 thou, x859 and thy sons, 1121 and thy daughters 1323 with x854 thee: for x3588 [they be] thy due, 2706 and thy sons' 1121 due, 2706 [which] are given 5414 z8738 out of the sacrifices 2077 x4480 of peace offerings 8002 of the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 10:15 The heave 8641 shoulder 7785 and the wave 8573 breast 2373 shall they bring 935 z8686 with x5921 the offerings made by fire 801 of the fat, 2459 to wave 5130 z8687 [it for] a wave offering 8573 before 6440 the LORD; 3068 and it shall be x1961 thine, and thy sons' 1121 with x854 thee, by a statute 2706 for ever; 5769 as x834 the LORD 3068 hath commanded. 6680 z8765

 10:16 ¶ And Moses 4872 diligently y1875 z8800 sought 1875 z8804 the goat 8163 of the sin offering, 2403 and, behold, x2009 it was burnt: 8313 z8795 and he was angry 7107 z8799 with x5921 Eleazar 499 and Ithamar, 385 the sons 1121 of Aaron 175 [which were] left 3498 z8737 [alive], saying, 559 z8800

 10:17 Wherefore x4069 have ye not x3808 eaten 398 z8804 x853 the sin offering 2403 in the holy 6944 place, 4725 seeing x3588 it x1931 [is] most y6944 holy, 6944 and [God] hath given 5414 z8804 it you to bear 5375 z8800 x853 the iniquity 5771 of the congregation, 5712 to make atonement 3722 z8763 for x5921 them before 6440 the LORD? 3068

 10:18 Behold, 2005 x853 the blood 1818 of it was not x3808 brought y935 z8717 in x935 within 6441 x413 the holy 6944 [place]: ye should indeed y398 z8800 have eaten 398 z8799 it in the holy 6944 [place], as x834 I commanded. 6680 z8765

 10:19 And Aaron 175 said 1696 z8762 unto x413 Moses, 4872 Behold, x2005 this day 3117 have they offered 7126 z8689 x853 their sin offering 2403 and their burnt offering 5930 before 6440 the LORD; 3068 and such things x428 have befallen 7122 z8799 me: and [if] I had eaten 398 z8804 the sin offering 2403 to day, 3117 should it have been accepted 3190 z8799 in the sight 5869 of the LORD? 3068

 10:20 And when Moses 4872 heard 8085 z8799 [that], he was content. 3190 5869 z8799
