1 Jonah, sent again, preacheth to the Ninevites. 5 Upon their repentance, 10 God repenteth.

3:1 ¶ And the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 unto x413 Jonah 3124 the second y8145 time, x8145 saying, 559 z8800

3:2 Arise, 6965 z8798 go y3212 z8798 x1980 unto x413 Nineveh, 5210 that great 1419 city, 5892 and preach 7121 z8798 unto x413 it x853 the preaching 7150 that x834 I x595 bid 1696 z8802 x413 thee.

3:3 So Jonah 3124 arose, 6965 z8799 and went y3212 z8799 x1980 unto x413 Nineveh, 5210 according to the word 1697 of the LORD. 3068 Now Nineveh 5210 was x1961 an exceeding 430 great 1419 city 5892 of three 7969 days' 3117 journey. 4109

3:4 And Jonah 3124 began 2490 z8686 to enter 935 z8800 into the city 5892 a 259 day's 3117 journey, 4109 and he cried, 7121 z8799 and said, 559 z8799 Yet x5750 forty 705 days, 3117 and Nineveh 5210 shall be overthrown. 2015 z8737

3:5 ¶ So the people y582 x376 of Nineveh 5210 believed 539 z8686 God, 430 and proclaimed 7121 z8799 a fast, 6685 and put y3847 z8799 on x3847 sackcloth, 8242 from the greatest 1419 x4480 of them even to x5704 the least 6996 of them.

3:6 For word 1697 came 5060 z8799 unto x413 the king 4428 of Nineveh, 5210 and he arose 6965 z8799 from his throne, 3678 x4480 and he laid 5674 z8686 his robe 155 from x4480 x5921 him, and covered 3680 z8762 [him] with sackcloth, 8242 and sat 3427 z8799 in x5921 ashes. 665

3:7 And he caused [it] to be proclaimed 2199 z8686 and published 559 z8799 through Nineveh 5210 by the decree 2940 x4480 of the king 4428 and his nobles, 1419 saying, 559 z8800 Let neither x408 man 120 nor beast, 929 herd 1241 nor flock, 6629 taste 2938 z8799 any thing: 3972 let them not x408 feed, 7462 z8799 nor x408 drink 8354 z8799 water: 4325

3:8 But let man 120 and beast 929 be covered 3680 z8691 with sackcloth, 8242 and cry 7121 z8799 mightily 2394 unto x413 God: 430 yea, let them turn 7725 z8799 every one 376 from his evil 7451 way, 1870 x4480 and from x4480 the violence 2555 that x834 [is] in their hands. 3709

3:9 Who x4310 can tell 3045 z8802 [if] God 430 will turn 7725 z8799 and repent, 5162 z8738 and turn away 7725 z8804 from his fierce 2740 x4480 anger, 639 that we perish 6 z8799 not? x3808

3:10 ¶ And God 430 saw 7200 z8799 x853 their works, 4639 that x3588 they turned 7725 z8804 from their evil 7451 way; 1870 x4480 and God 430 repented 5162 z8735 of x5921 the evil, 7451 that x834 he had said 1696 z8765 that he would do 6213 z8800 unto them; and he did 6213 z8804 [it] not. x3808
