Micah 1

1 Micah sheweth the wrath of God against Jacob for idolatry. 10 He exhorteth to mourning.

 1:1 ¶ The word 1697 of the LORD 3068 that x834 came x1961 to x413 Micah 4318 the Morasthite 4183 in the dayes 3117 of Iotham, 3147 Ahaz, 271 [and] Hezekiah 3169 Kings 4428 of Iudah, 3063 which x834 hee saw 2372 z8804 concerning x5921 Samaria 8111 and Ierusalem. 3389

 1:2 Heare 8085 z8798 all x3605 ye people, 5971 hearken 7181 z8685 O earth, 776 and all that therein y4393 is, x4393 and let the Lord 136 GOD 3069 be x1961 witnesse 5707 against you, the Lord 136 from his holy 6944 temple. 1964 x4480

 1:3 For x3588 behold, x2009 the LORD 3068 commeth forth 3318 z8802 out of his place, 4725 x4480 and will come downe 3381 z8804 and tread 1869 z8804 vpon x5921 the high places 1116 of the earth. 776

 1:4 And the mountaines 2022 shall be molten 4549 z8738 vnder x8478 him, and the valleis 6010 shall be cleft: 1234 z8691 as waxe 1749 before 6440 x4480 the fire, 784 [and] as the waters 4325 that are powred y5064 z8716 downe x5064 a steepe place. 4174

 1:5 For the transgression 6588 of Iacob 3290 [is] all x3605 this, x2063 and for the sinnes 2403 of the house 1004 of Israel: 3478 What x4310 [is] the transgression 6588 of Iacob? 3290 [Is] it not x3808 Samaria? 8111 and what x4310 [are] the high places 1116 of Iudah? 3063 [are] they not x3808 Ierusalem? 3389

 1:6 Therfore I will make 7760 z8804 Samaria 8111 [as] an heape 5856 of the field, 7704 [and as] plantings 4302 of a vineyard; 3754 and I will powre downe 5064 z8689 the stones 68 therof into the valley, 1516 and I will discouer 1540 z8762 the foundations 3247 thereof.

 1:7 And all x3605 the grauen images 6456 thereof shall be beaten to pieces, 3807 z8714 and all x3605 the hires 868 thereof shall be burnt 8313 z8735 with the fire, 784 and all x3605 the idoles 6091 therof will I lay 7760 z8799 desolate: 8077 for x3588 she gathered 6908 z8765 it of the hire 868 x4480 of an harlot, 2181 z8802 and they shall returne 7725 z8799 to x5704 the hire 868 of an harlot. 2181 z8802

 1:10 ¶ Declare 5046 z8686 yee [it] not x408 at Gath, 1661 weepe y1058 z8799 yee not at all: 1058 z8800 x408 In the house x1004 of Aphrah 1036 rowle 6428 z8690 z8675 z8694 thy selfe x6428 in the dust. 6083

 1:11 Passe yee away 5674 z8798 thou inhabitant 3427 z8802 of Saphir, 8208 hauing thy shame 1322 naked; 6181 the inhabitant 3427 z8802 of Zaanan 6630 came not forth 3318 z8804 x3808 in the mourning 4553 of Beth-ezel, 1018 he shall receiue 3947 z8799 of x4480 you his standing. 5979

 1:12 For x3588 the inhabitant 3427 z8802 of Maroth 4796 waited carefully y2342 z8804 x2470 for good, 2896 but x3588 euill 7451 came downe 3381 z8804 from x4480 x854 the LORD 3068 vnto the gate 8179 of Ierusalem. 3389

 1:13 O thou inhabitant 3427 z8802 of Lachish, 3923 bind 7573 z8798 the charet 4818 to the swift beast: 7409 she x1931 [is] the beginning 7225 of the sinne 2403 to the daughter 1323 of Zion: 6726 for x3588 the transgressions 6588 of Israel 3478 were found 4672 z8738 in thee.

 1:14 Therfore x3651 shalt thou giue 5414 z8799 presents 7964 to x5921 Moresheth-Gath: 4182 the houses 1004 of Achzib 392 [shalbe] a lie 391 to ye kings 4428 of Israel. 3478

 1:15 Yet x5750 wil I bring 935 z8686 an heire 3423 z8802 vnto thee, O inhabitant 3427 z8802 of Mareshah: 4762 he shall come 935 z8799 vnto x5704 Adullam, 5725 the glory 3519 of Israel 3478

 1:16 Make thee bald, 7139 z8798 and polle 1494 z8798 thee for x5921 thy delicate 8588 children, 1121 enlarge 7337 z8685 thy baldnesse 7144 as the Eagle, 5404 for x3588 they are gone into captiuitie 1540 z8804 from x4480 thee.
