Iohn 16

1 Christ comforteth his disciples against tribulation by the promise of the Holy Ghost, and by his resurrection and ascension: 23 assureth their prayers made in his name to be acceptable to his Father. 33 Peace in Christ, and in the world affliction.

 16:1 ¶ These things 5023 haue I spoken 2980 z5758 vnto you, 5213 that y3363 z0 x2443 yee should y4624 z0 not y3363 x3361 be offended. 4624 z5686

 16:2 They shall put 4160 z5692 you 5209 out of the Synagogues: 656 yea, 235 the time 5610 commeth, 2064 z5736 that 2443 whosoeuer 3956 killeth 615 z5660 you, 5209 will thinke 1380 z5661 that hee doeth 4374 z5721 God 2316 seruice. 2999

 16:3 And 2532 these things 5023 will they doe 4160 z5692 vnto you, 5213 because 3754 they haue y1097 z0 not 3756 knowen 1097 z5627 the x3588 Father, 3962 nor 3761 me. 1691

 16:4 But 235 these things 5023 haue I told 2980 z5758 you, 5213 that 2443 when 3752 the x3588 time 5610 shall come, 2064 z5632 ye may remember 3421 z5725 that 3754 I 1473 told 2036 z5627 you 5213 of them. 846 And 1161 these things 5023 I said 2036 z5627 not 3756 vnto you 5213 at 1537 the beginning, 746 because 3754 I was 2252 z5713 with 3326 you. 5216

 16:6 But 235 because 3754 I haue saide 2980 z5758 these things 5023 vnto you, 5213 sorow 3077 hath filled 4137 z5758 your 5216 heart. 2588

 16:7 Neuerthelesse; 235 I 1473 tell 3004 z5719 you 5213 the x3588 trueth, 225 it is expedient 4851 z5719 for you 5213 that 2443 I 1473 goe away: 565 z5632 for 1063 if y3362 z0 I x1437 goe y565 z0 not y3362 away, 565 z5632 x3361 the x3588 Comforter 3875 will y2064 z0 not 3756 come 2064 z5695 vnto 4314 you: 5209 but 1161 if 1437 I depart, 4198 z5680 I will send 3992 z5692 him 846 vnto 4314 you. 5209
