1 We are to rejoice under the cross, 5 to ask patience of God, 13 and in our trials not to impute our weakness, or sins, unto him, 19 but rather to hearken to the Word, to meditate in it, and to do thereafter: 26 otherwise men may seem, but never be truly religious.

 1:3 Knowing 1097 z5723 [this], that 3754 the x3588 trying 1383 of your 5216 faith 4102 worketh 2716 z5736 patience, 5281

 1:4 But 1161 let y2192 z0 patience 5281 haue 2192 z5720 [her] perfect 5046 worke, 2041 that 2443 ye may be 5600 z5753 perfect, 5046 and 2532 entier, 3648 wanting 3007 z5746 nothing. 3367 y1722

 1:5 1161 If x1487 any y1536 x5100 of you 5216 lacke 3007 z5743 wisedome, 4678 let him aske 154 z5720 of 3844 God, 2316 that giueth 1325 z5723 to all 3956 men liberally, 574 and 2532 vpbraideth 3679 z5723 not: 3361 and 2532 it shalbe giuen 1325 z5701 him. 846

 1:6 But 1161 let him aske 154 z5720 in 1722 faith, 4102 nothing 3367 wauering: 1252 z5734 for 1063 he that wauereth 1252 z5734 is like 1503 z5758 a waue 2830 of the sea, 2281 driuen with the wind, 416 z5746 and 2532 tossed. 4494 z5746

 1:7 For 1063 let y3633 z0 not 3361 that 1565 man 444 thinke 3633 z5737 that 3754 he shall receiue 2983 z5695 any thing 5100 of 3844 the x3588 Lord. 2962

 1:8 A double minded 1374 man 435 is vnstable 182 in 1722 all 3956 his y846 x848 wayes. 3598

 1:9 1161 Let y2744 z0 the x3588 brother 80 of low degree, 5011 reioyce 2744 z5737 in 1722 that he y846 x848 is exalted: 5311

 1:10 But 1161 the x3588 rich, 4145 in 1722 that hee y846 x848 is made low: 5014 because 3754 as 5613 the floure 438 of the grasse 5528 he shall passe away. 3928 z5695

 1:14 But 1161 euery man 1538 is tempted, 3985 z5743 when hee is drawen away 1828 z5746 of 5259 his owne 2398 lust, 1939 and 2532 entised. 1185 z5746

 1:15 Then 1534 when lust 1939 hath conceiued, 4815 z5631 it bringeth forth 5088 z5719 sinne: y266 x616 and 1161 sinne, 266 when it is finished, 658 z5685 bringeth forth 616 z5719 death. 2288

 1:23 For 3754 if any 1536 be 2076 z5748 a hearer 202 of the word 3056 and 2532 not 3756 a doer, 4163 he 3778 is like y1503 z5758 vnto x1503 a man 435 beholding 2657 z5723 his 846 naturall 1078 face 4383 in 1722 a glasse: 2072

 1:24 For 1063 hee beholdeth 2657 z5656 himselfe, 1438 and 2532 goeth his way, 565 z5754 and 2532 straightway 2112 forgetteth 1950 z5633 what maner of man 3697 he was. 2258 z5713
